Hey, I'm the owner of GMI Holsters and I wanted to say thanks for the mention in your video! I also wanted to mention that the WE Desert Eagle does not actually fit my holsters UNLESS I know beforehand that its for a WE Tech. The real steel is actually significantly smaller in width and a few odd dimensions that make it so that a holster for the real steel is insanely tight for the WE, even with adjustment. I do make them for the WE Tech all the time, just hit me up before buying one so I know you're rocking the airsoft version and I promise the fitment will be 100x better!

It used to be if Booligan didn't do a review of a gun you were interested in, pretty much all you would find was 5-10 min unboxing vids. It's so great to see people actually reviewing these replicas down to the part with real, experienced observations and insight. Thanks for actually doing the leg work to help enthusiasts make informed decisions and get the most out of their replicas. Taking a gun out of the box, shooting it a few times, and reading bullet points from a manufacturer's product description doesn't count as a "review" IMO. People reviewing any kind of product could take queues from you guys. Nice work!
Great video. Props for the miami vice draw and reload very cool. I've ordered a gold tiger stripe Deagle for some capture the flag, and other short games. It's my first novelty airsoft purchase and I can't wait to start using it. I'm sure it'll draw plenty of attention.
The EMG QD Desert Eagle Holster is a direct fir for both the standard and L6 WE Tech Desert Eagles without attachments. Also, the Hogue rubberized grip fits but you need to file down the back piece that screws together to fit in the frame tab as well as the retention tabs on the inside similar to the alumigrips.
Finally a Airsofter that speaks my language.. I've already changed out the bucking and inner barrel, but I gotta do everything else now haha, thanks for the upload!!
We desert eagle is a later product so it benefit from the experience of making crummy guns for more than ten years My Marui desert eagle keeps breaking parts and looks and feels really bad being plastic so WE is a legitimate best choice for desert eagle in my opinion
Out of the box, that baby ca hop up to .40g BBs easy and develops 1.7 Joules (red gas) with unbelievable accuracy. Like this, it will pair up perfectly with an APS shotgun. I use it with my Striker12 which is CQB worthy on most fields here. When I have to take a shot above 30m i just pull out the good old chrome dingus and take it. Its very fun and capable.
On pictures where you have all 3.....it seems to me that real desert is smaller .......if you look part of slide with markings, on airsoft ver its like 1.5mm wider than the real steel. 2. Front of a gun....slide on receiver, you can notice 2mm gap on real vs 5mm gap on we tech.....can you confirm that airsoft ver is ticker-taller than real or i need glasses. Tnx...
There are some minor dimensional discrepancies, but it all evens out to within a couple of millimeters in each dimension. WE has never quite done 1:1 copies, and this one is no exception.
I have the Desert Eagle l6 from Cybergun/WE in the Golden Tiger stripe pattern and I just love it. Now all it needs is some nice real wood handles and it will be perfect! ❤😍🇺🇲💪🏽
Hello Mr. Enterprises, I don’t know if you’ll see this, but what was the process to make cuts on the rail functional? I’d like to do it on mine but I don’t know what sort of equipment I would need and I don’t want to botch it.
I use silicone Mr Hop and ML Concave nub in this monster, standard inner barrel is garbage , 138mm Crazy Jet is perfect for L6 (in L6 the outer barrel is pass-through, dont know about mk19 ) recently I installed a precision zci barrel (240mm) and masked it first with a silencer, currently with a muzzle brake (because the compensator on the barrel is not enough XD) . On 0.4g bbs range and accuracy getting close to dmr results on this set. And i installed rmr plate and SRO on slide , don't ask why ;). Tactical as hell...
O have the first model of the weagle, and i rrplace some parts for steel ones, but what i would like to see from we, its a desgle mk VII in a shinny black finish, like it was blued
Hey EE, have you seen any aftermarket outer barrels like the 10 inch classic style? I know TM makes a desert eagle with the 10 inch classic barrel but I haven’t seen any aftermarket parts like that

Hi, just watched your vid, I own 2 WEagles and I'm trying to make my L6 playable on CQB by modifying the rocket valve like you did. What inner barrel are you using though (length and diameter) ? I need a shorter barrel on my L6 so it doesn't show up through the muzzle brake. Thanks !
My first pistol I ever got was the old school desert eagle from my dad I can confirm inside the waistband does work you do need a very nice belt and if you want to carry extra magazines a set of suspenders as well😂
i bought the Cybergun Desert Eagle L6 .50AE CO2 GBB Pistol; FULL AUTO about a year ago and it worked great. then i learnt that CO2 guns needed gun oil in order to ensure they dont dry up to help them last longer. after hearing this i ordered some and used the oil in areas that are affected without taking the gun apart. my father however, who is ex military and has fired desert eagles took it apart for a full clean/oil. however when he went to reassemble the gun it just will not click into place. the springs cannot be removed like in the video, and the barrel isnt flush with the handguard when put together. the gun also doesnt cock back and is just a locked prop. anything i can do to mend this or shall i just buy a new one and not let my father near it?
Honestly, in the real steel world, the only use cases ive personally seen for the desert eagle (note excluding a funny concealed carry gun as that not a thing in my country) is for use in bear or cougar country out in the bush back when semi auto large bore handguns were harder to find, but now with the 10mm glocks and 1911s that function far better and for far less, the guns now mostly a novelty unless youre in an IPSC division that allows it, but it may be too large for most divisions requirements. Asxfor airsoft well, a few companies make them full auto and that just says its purpose right off the bat, fun gun is fun.
I used to modify real steel or airsoft aftermarked brand parts on my airsoft guns. I own a WE Desert Eagle, and yet got my hands on any sights for real steel or TM Desert Eagle yet. So I haven't any experience about it yet. Have you attempt or in the works to do it yourself yet? Or did you find it will be a difficult task?
Unfortunately the sights are dimensionally different to the point that any real sight would need to be significantly modified at all, on top of generally costing 50-100% the base value of the pistol itself, but it should be doable. However, we have a contact who is pursuing development of aftermarket parts for the WEagle and, at our suggestion, is starting with fiber optic sights. So that's probably still a ways off, but will be coming at some point.
Was this the CO2 or the Green Gas version? On the CO2 version I've had that nozzle completely get destroyed on the first shot, wonder if messing with the rocker valve will solve that issue.
Do you know of anyone that makes cnc aluminum loading nozzles for these guns? Those damn plastic loading nozzles always broke on me and kept me from buying another airsoft desert eagle.
Yeah mine shattered too, I bought a replacement but it's the stupid OEM plastic POS. I've spent a few months doing research looking for CNC'd versions but to no avail. I'd 100% buy an upgrade for it if I could. I can confirm that RA-Tech makes steel parts for the WE M4's
It will have the advantages of CO2 (more powerful, stronger blowback kick, more bbs with a single charge and optimal in any environmental temperature), but the downsides are pretty bad: the magazine will break way faster (and it cannot be fixed as it can with gas), the internals are put under a higher stress so they will also break faster, changing the CO2 capsule is slower than adding gas, and if you want to shoot just a single magazine, you'll be able to just add a bit of gas, but with CO2, you'll have to shoot all ~100 bbs (not using bbs or releasing the co2 will damage the gun or magazine). You can check any video about CO2 vs green gas, and they will tell the same thing. Even if you have a lot of money to waste on magazines and internals, it's just not worth the trouble to use CO2, or at least that's how I see it.

So it turns out that having one of these Deagles in gold tigerstripe with a leather shoulder holster that also contains gold mags gets a lot of attention on the airsoft field. Who'd have thunk it? 🤪

Unfortunately, as far as we're aware the only option for an extended barrel on the WEs is the AW Custom Raccoon Special.
