- Pulled this from the display at the museum , it had a bit of borer in some of the timber which shouldn't be on it. as always I tried to return it back to its original and make it look like it's been used before.
A light restoration that took me a lot longer than i was planning but now looks great on display
If you'd like to support me in helping the museum to get more projects restored for display give us a like and a comment.
if you know museums or societies that have vintage stuff that want to be restored for free contact me
Help to fund the next project for a museum koji.to/k/6AxN thanks for your support

At 19:30 😮Watch you finger😲. Beautiful restoration. Regards Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk in Finland.
thanks for the encouragement😀
Always good to see old tools preserved and shown working. The Black & Decker generation would be flummoxed by such tools if they did not see them demonstrated.
An eco-tool - no electric power required!
Well done Richard

Очень хорошая работа! Удачи тебе друг!!

Very beautiful restoration. I really liked how you restored the wooden parts. The nuts at the base of the structure are not factory-made, the original nuts are square and with a 3/8 thread, you had to tighten the m10 nuts a little tighter because of the different thickness of the rod.Although the difference of 0.475mm is not particularly noticeable.
Thanks for your feed back cheers Richard 😀
Very cool, subbed.😊

That's cool! Nice work. Back to the museum now?
That's the plan!
Amazing work! What's the go with heating all the bolts and screws with the torch after the HCL bath? Was that for hardening or was it something else?
to blacken the bolts and protect or rust
lol at 2:20 I do the same thing with a paper towel to clean can openers

Hard to find here in the UK...
При закалке винтиков и шайб произошла халтурка. Первые закалились, а вторая часть думаю не закалились.
Thanks for your feed back cheers Richard 😀
Interesting to watch, but did you ever hear of a vise?
