honestly i love the way you've handled this video, you're giving us a quick but detailed breakdown of the scene and the character who made the sacrifice in the film/media but you're also giving your own personal thoughts on how it was handled, whether good or bad, keep up the good work my guy
Diablo was a good redemption point. He was haunted by the things he done and decided to make the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of his team and the world.
How do you manage to make me cry 20 different times in the same video. Just when I think it’ll be done, I can be happy, you pull out the “it’s okay, let me go” and “I’ll need a rain check on that dance”, but let’s not forget that last one, “I am iron man”
When iron man said I love you 3000 to his daughter I cried that part hit hard cause you always want to see the good guy win but he had to die in order for the others to live .
I don’t see how you can have a list of sacrifice and not have the Iron Giant. His sacrifice hit me harder than any of these because he didn’t have to make the sacrifice. He had already shown he was equipped with enough high tech weapons to destroy the ICBM without getting near it, but couldn’t live with the fact he was a gun (weapon). He knew that the humans would never stop fearing him, thereby putting Hogarth in danger, unless he was destroyed and opted for the “Superman” ending instead. The Iron Giant was listed second, behind “Old Yeller” as the movies that men admit to tearing up at. Most animated classics are princess movies for the young ladies, but the Iron Giant is one animated movie meant for the boys. It’s a shame you didn’t list it. I would consider the Iron Giant as a super hero.
The Iron Giant has been in my top 5 favorite movie for decades. I loved the movie, but it was also the first movie my adopted son and I watched together and he fell apart at the end and so did I truth be told. Partly because of him and partly because it was a great movie. Amazing movie.
Definitely a lot of sad moments made me cry when Superman gave his life for the world and Lois Lane his world 🌎 his heart and the music in that scene was perfect
One thing that always bothered me about Quick Silver, he was saving people left and right just a little earlier, he could have moved Hawkeye and the kid, then they could have let him a full arch by saving Wanda at the end of M.o.M.

Superman giving his life to stop the mutated Zod was a heartbreaking scene that had everybody in the theater in tears. It hurt on such an emotional level because the performance of Cavill was masterful. More like a god than anything, Kal-El showed the naked fear that only a man could feel, for a fleeting second a pleading expression before grim determination as he drove the spear deep. And sacrificed himself to kill the monster and save Earth. NO ONE could have been a better Superman than Cavill. Christopher Reeve doesn't enter the conversation because he IS and always will be the real Superman. Everyone else is just actors playing a part. Reeve was a real superhero. But Cavill gave Kal-El a vulnerability, a humbleness that gave life to the Superman character. He was always trying to fit in with humanity and to feel worthy of their love and adoration. I know Gunn is a great producer/ director/writer, but Cavill's Superman was the high point of Justice League and Batman Vs Superman. Good luck topping that.

I always knew Tony Stark would do what was necessary. There was never a doubt in my mind cuz he knows he's the only one that can do it! He is a league of head of anyone else on earth as far as how smart he is and probably in the galaxy or the universe in marvel. When it came down to it his will was iron! He wasn't just iron Man! I'm glad you got to see what he did work to a certain extent. And they told him you can rest. Now we're safe. That was one of the best scenes I've ever seen in any movie!!! Pepper New exactly what to say to him!! I know they had to keep it PG but he was a better man than me. I would have turned that entire army inside out and let them live long enough to feel it! With the ability to make and shape reality the way you would want it, he didn't have to go. But if that moment in time that was the only decision. He was smart enough to know that and not overthink it! I would have turned into something that would have made Thanos s*** himself! And I would have shown that tyrant what intelligence and power can really do! I would have brought back everybody that was hurt and I would have killed that house so many times over and over that I would have gotten bored of it! I would have made him feel every life that he ever took that what his punishment would have been to die in the same manner till he has died the same way that every one of his victims did and as long as it took! Tony did the right thing . Needed to feel the fear and the pain and the anguish and the absolute helplessness that he forced on everyone else. And then I would have erased him from existence and all of his followers. The universe would have never remembered or known him. I think that would have been a punishment deserving of a tyrant like that. He thought he knew what we should be doing when he was only playing God he wasn't one! You take away half the life in the universe and eventually it builds up again! You would have to put some kind of supernatural cap on population. That's the only way that would work! And yes I cried my eyes out on many of these. Number. One was probably number two to me as far as how many tears I said when. Bruce Wayne died. Alfred really sold it. I thought they killed Batman. They ending was by far the best I've ever seen. It amazes me how many times the avengers got on here because it was just that good of a show. Blessed are those that give up their life to save others. That's what a hero does!!!! It's just too bad there's not many living ones around!
I love the theory that by the end of GotG, it's not that Groot learnt a new word, rather, we can now understand what he's saying. It adds a whole new emotional dimension at the end there

The Superman fight with Doomsday didn't really make sense how it ended though. So he stabs Doomsday with the spear, the entire spearhead is INSIDE doomsday, meaning, ALL of the kryptonite is within his body, making the most contact possible, but Doomsday only dies when Superman stabs it through and the spearhead goes out the back. Like, shouldn't it have been more deadly when the kryptonite was fully inside him rather than when it was out???

I mean that would cause a tear in the timeline.
Anyone else realise he said galacticus instead of galactus 😂😂😂
Tony sacrificed himself and as reward they ruined his legacy with that shity ironheart 😭😭😭🤬🤬🤬
drivel appealing to cults of human sacrifice because it invokes their dogma......which is often just murder shrouded behind some falsely noble self-sacrifice narrative sometimes accompanied by torture first......not to mention oddly and most often male..... like the story was written by religious feminists or something...
I love how you used call of silence from attack on titan
What is the song in the background of the death of Dr. Fate? It seems very familiar put i can't remember it
🎶 the sun will come out tomorrow 🎶
Didn’t have Thor in the first film sacrificed himself to safe the people
"anyone want schwarma? I know a place just around the corner"
Dang it 😂 the Ironman one as well. Those nukes don't detonate on impact but upon GPS or timer so it should have gone off before the wormhole either way. GPS or timer as it had reached it's destination at stark tower
thank you!!!
Perfect!
The name is Galactus not Galacticus ,..otherwise decent video ❤
People not understanding the darkhold was corrupting Wanda eventhough the movie constantly said it and she looked more corrupted every time we saw her.
Marvel fans need hand holding
The Superman fight with Doomsday didn't really make sense how it ended though. So he stabs Doomsday with the spear, the entire spearhead is INSIDE doomsday, meaning, ALL of the kryptonite is within his body, making the most contact possible, but Doomsday only dies when Superman stabs it through and the spearhead goes out the back. Like, shouldn't it have been more deadly when the kryptonite was fully inside him rather than when it was out???
Yep you’re 100% correct my friend 👍😂😂 then again maybe its literal that his only weakness is when hes near kryptnonite.. not when its literally touching his insides, just near it 😂🤣
@@topbloke1683 Lol, in reality they are weak to its color only, not the material, so it is ok when it's inside and covered, haha.
thats what I never understood Iron Man was always ready to make the sacrifice if for nothing else then Pepper Potts.
the aot music at 12:27 got me :)
So Charles Xavier gets killed by Jean Gray and Wanda Maximoff? Damn he has a bad way with the ladies.
