What 'narrow' tire did you run Chris? They're still running a 18" drag tire on a 1.85 rim. Althought, the super fast guys have now been running 3.5 X 17 front wheels.

The only way Harley will see a 5 second pass, is switch that vibrating V-twin to an inline 4 Japanese engine.
Larry Mc Bride is knocking on a low 5 second pass in the near future.

Never could understand why Harley riders have their legs spread, when they go down track, they look ridiculous.
@@ricktaylor3748 well i rode top fuel harleys from 1988-1994,with my feet on the pegs,we ran 7.00's back then @ 195 mph,pass after pass,only once in a while changing motors.If you have never ridden a top fuel bike of any make i suggest you keep your comments to yourself
What are they doing to the intake or carb before they go down the track?
Priming the injector, much like a Top Fuel or Funny Car they prime the injector with either gas or alcohol (someone I'm sure will specify which), turn the motor over on that fuel, then switch to Nitro. Now if your talking about the adjustments made on the starting line, I give way to those whom are much more knowledgeable about it than I. (please comment below!) lol. Thanks for watching! (KN)
What you’re hearing At the starting line in top fuel (cars and bikes) is turning the fuel all the way on. Usually by a switch or lever which activates a second fuel pump. You’ll hear a distinct change in the idle and also the engine goes from light crackles to sounding like small explosions coming from each revolution. Much more distinct in the 4 cylinder top fuel bikes or cars.

Hardly Drivables should have to race just Harley they handicapped metric bikes down so far so Hardly can compete it's insane they are allowed HALF the HP of Harley's because thier still using 1970s design..I can't wait to see Hardly Drivables move to Thailand and Trump stop that garbage from being sold here

These Harley's look like they're going on a leisurely ride.
