Ironically £20,000 was deemed too expensive to keep the outdoor Arbroath pool open but millions spent on the new Olympia which then closed down for 4 years before reopening in 2023 only to be closed (partially) in 2024 after many millions more spent on upgrading it!!
I lived in allen street grants had stables bottom o the street past the dog kennels was born there 1946 lived there till 1955 moved baltic street above jock thomsons pub was always above a pub allen arms in allen street old pappy liked a drink you no it was rough but gre at when i look back i ended up in the army thats what u done then i miss old dundee not the junkies feel sorry for them being weak lead astray wish i could help them but they want to have help dont like seeing scottish people like this.
