why is lightning and a violist's left hand the same ? they never strike twice in the same place. Good clip maestro... lovely playing ; what class !! 12 feet gives more air... also if you had a higher ceiling you would be better off. Anyway tremendously helpful clip. Bravo
Hmm, I found the closest set up to be the worst..I felt like 6 feet gave better dymamics and/or colours and 12 feet brought out more overtones (am not sure of thats the word) but some details were lost? I would probably have it around 9 feet to get the best out of all..
I enjoyed the video, it is very informative. Please could you tell me what camera you were using to film the video and how you connected the Zoom to the camera? Thanks
Violist here: actually never heard that joke before! well done
Glad you have a sense of humor! Most good violists Do ;)

Do you know what is the range of the viola?
@@theviolintech7632 as far as you can throw it ?
@@pandoraefretum well done 🥳
Would be useful to see the cables used and alternatives i.e the 3.5mm stereo jack with 9v battery.

Hi, I am using Canon M50. I usually will record audio and video separately and then sync them in the post production.
Brahms D minor sonata last movement!
Bravo!
I knew this from the Bugs Bunny Roadrunner cartoon 😅 They actually had great music for a cartoon :)
Amazing video!! Could you test how would it work with the t.bone sc140 connected to the Zoom H5?
Thank you for all the videos that you are doing!
Thank you! I’ll see if I can source that microphone in the future for review.
Brahms Violin Sonata no 3 in d minor?
Well done!
Sana all.
interesting! 3 feet and 12 feet had their pro's and cons/depending what kind of sound you wanted but 6 feet seemed bad either.
I am a harpist and I am laughing because of the joke, ahah
I am glad you liked it 😊
