Lake Garda Hinterland - Italy: an inland Tour of the Southeast part of the Lake

- If you are planning to visit Lake Garda, in Italy, I strongly recommend that you dedicate at least one to visit the hinterland, away from the shore of the Lake. There are such wonderful places to discover!
In this video I will show you some routes, not along the lake, but inland.
Particularly, I’ll give you 3 ideas: Bardolino hinterland, Valpolicella and the Canyon of Adige.

BARDOLINO HINTERLAND
Bardolino hinterland is a path that covers the highest hills behind the town, among vineyards, historic districts, and a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Bardolino and the entire southern Lake Garda.
VALPOLICELLA
The Valpolicella route will show you one of the most typical wine production areas in Italy.
Discover the diversity of these landscapes surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, crossing several Villas that will stand out on your path.
CANYON OF ADIGE IN CERAINO.
In the Canyon of Adige route, you will appreciate the Adige River passing through a spectacular gorge, with very narrow bends. Along the way, you can see the Austrian Fort of Wohlgemuth.

Was nice to see the inland parts of Garda. I have already booked for my wife and I next year. 22 june for 14 days. Staying at the Imperial hotel at Garda. Haven't been for a couple years so looking forward to it.

Luigi, what city in Italy would you say is the best for living in with a family. Based on everything you know about the Italian cities I think your opinion would be a good one since you are smart and know lots of this information
Hi Ryan, it's depends. If you need to find a job in Italy, maybe the best city considering also the life quality is Bologna (close to Milan). In general, Bologna is a very nice city to live ;)
