bts is heavily inspired by demian, while txt is heavily inspired by imogene's antlers. gotta love bighit and their love of literature! if sm is a town, jyp is a nation, and yg is a family..... bighit is probably a library lmao
It's more like a comic/manga shop that have lots of manga, nice place to lay down (have you seen korean manga shop?) and great selection of food! One-stop centre that I can practically live in... ahahahahaaa 😂😂😂😂😂
despite being a bit older i actually quite liked TXT's debut, i liked the fresh youthful concept since a lot of rookies have debuted with a darker concept lately, and this concept is also very different from BTS's current one, but still managing to put out very sweet and thoughtful lyrics, that while I cannot relate well too, younger kids can. I'm glad Big Hit is continuing the theme of "artists and music for healing"
Guys, as a Korean-American living in Seoul, you guys are pretty much on point on 99% of the stuff you cover. Also, this was the funniest episode yet. I almost spewed out my tea more than a couple of times!
Or masturbation. The time when I was watching one of their videos where danny was talking about masturbation and my dad was giving me looks cause of the content I was watching lmao
Yeah, TXT slow promo lost steam for me too. But turns out I really like their music, more than I thought i would. Super upbeat and danceable, fun, lovely. And I LOVE Cat and Dog! Anyway, i think they're really good quality.
same here, i kind of lost interest and didnt really expect much anymore. so u best believe i was shocked when i listened to their album and watched their performances. i LOVE LOVE LOVE blue orangeade and our summer. i feel bad for not expecting much from the members as well bc their stage prescence is so lively and their voices are so good, i specifically love huening kai's. but i still dont rlly like cat and dog that much sksks, but maybe it'll come round to me.
I think it was the best way to promote them, they didn't hype them so much and build these great expectations, it was so smart going slow and kinda low key
Not many people, expecially in Korea, liked BTS until they became successful and famous. Now, they cant stop talking about BTS. I feel bad for TXT. Think of all the pressure they are going through because people are comparing them to BTS. This is no different than your parents comparing you to your older brother/sister. People are always going to complaint no matter what. But remember, both BTS and TXT have debuted with youth concept because they were/are teenagers. Just that BTS debuted as Hip Hop group and TXT debuted as Pop group. BTS changed over time and same will happen to TXT.
I find the TXT promotion weird but then I found out later that the "what do you see?" short films are all TU(TXT Universe) content verified by bighit. And the morse codes in each short film can be converted into words like dreaming, tomorrow, hope, secret etc. So is that a tactic for theorists to analyze stuff maybe? Bighit is so crazy but i like it.
We bE SCREamInG BoOming SysteM uH Uh op said “bighit is so crazy i like it”. bighit isn’t that crazy as u claim bc they’re just copying what someone else already did....u can say no one asked all u want but the truth is the truth “mate”. txt universe concept is nothing to be impressed by
i'm with david. sometimes you just want to use something once, and paying upwards of $200 for a subscription seems ridiculous. i always try to see if there is a trial, but as a poor, student loan-ridden adult (kinda), i am going to lean towards finding something free.
Is pirating ideal? No. But there's worse things that people do in this world than pirating music so I'm not going to raise my pitchforks and attack Soyeon just because of that lol. Plus I grew up in the projects and my family had VERY little money so I pirated too. It's normal to me. Sure it may not be the best thing to do but it is what it is. Idc what anyone says I don't think this should tarnish her image 🙄
I'm completely understand Soyeon because we're in same situation. When I was a student I used the pirated software because no student is rich enough to pay those super expensive software. But as I started to work, the company has their own legal software for me to use but I still have those pirated software on my pc to refer. Same with Soyeon, she said used those software when she studying about music composing. Believe me, those people who created those software also once a student who were not rich enough to buy and subscribe super expensive software and they also use pirated software to learn. They would understand.
I really like that TXT is totally different from BTS. Their debuts are sooo different and I think it was very smart of Bighit to give txt this concept. It's not only the meaning of their music or the sounds and genres, but also the demographic they're going to aim for. While BTS has a looot of fans in their 20s and 30s and that's the core of the fandom, TXT is aiming for teens, putting out a content that teens of today can relate too. It's deliberate and it's really smart from marketing point of view. Also, I guess that as the time passes, TXT's concept is gonna get more mature with them and their fans growing older, the colors and sounds and, of course, lyrics will change too. But, time will tell! I wish them all the best on their journey.
@@persephonelilith2662 You'd be surprised at how many "older ARMYs" there are in the fandom. The age range goes more from 20-30 and even older. Of course there are young ARMYs, but there's a lot more of adults. :) But really, BTS' music touches all ages.
Personally I think their debut album is still just an introduction to txt. Once they start adding their own songs and ideas we’ll get a real taste of what they’re capable of and I can’t wait to find out! I‘m still obsessed with crown tho like I can’t stop watching the mv😣
In the first BTS album I think they just helped in two songs, but with time bighit let them have their own freedom, I think txt will also in the future.
We all know even for bts members themselves, they still find it real hard for their songs to be "accepted" by the producers. They all want to be namjoon yoongi and hobi That's also what happened to TXT i guess. Someday but soon, they'll produce their own songs like what they promised to us
Anindita Kinanti yeah i hope so, they have 2-3 musical monster in their group, so i hope bighit can let them involve in making music. at least they try to compete with bighit producer. and also let yeonjun make his own rap verse
I too think that this is just the start for TXT . I think the hype is just too much because they are from BIGHIT (not saying that they are not talented , they are great.) and they still have a very long journey before the reach their full potential and im looking forward to it... : ) : )
To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of TXT songs, it has nothing to do with the quality or anything, just not really my style. What I do appreciate though, is that BigHit didn't use BTS to promote TXT like other labels have done (or at least I've heard they have), but the pressure of the fact that they debuted from a company that created the most popular band in the world (at the moment), is still there. I wish the best for them honestly, their debut is already at a great start
Mid-sized labels often use the "little brother" or "little sister" term to promote idols so that they can work off the hype their more famous and older idols produce. I don't think I've seen that much in larger labels like SM recently because all of their 3rd and 4th gen groups have been as far separated from each other as possible. There is no The Grace and TVXQ or SNSD and SuJu similarities anymore. With the huge international audience coming in, I think individuality has become very important and that's why this hasn't happened as much. You need to be fresh, not constantly recycling your previous success.
I feel that people have too many unrealistic expectations to TXT, it is simply impossible for a new group to put out a complex concept like BTS do. BTS have walked a long way and have been developing their on-going story line of HYYH for years, it surely takes much more than a debut for TXT to develop their own universe. I really agree with Danny that BigHit wasted too much time on releasing concept films and photos that don't seem to have meaning, like all those pictures with flowers that have nothing to do with any of their songs in the album. But I do feel that the TXT members have a lot of potential, they can definitely sing and dance, it just takes time for them to grow.
Knowing Big Hit, nothing is impossible. I have a feeling that later on those concept films and photos of flowers, colors, bugs or instincts will have something to do with their up coming albums. Big Hit is the total definition of conceptual ideas so I doubt they would waste their effort on this without having a plan.
Well it's because of all the hype BigHit created tbh like their coded videos and long wait and website it seemed more worked on then other debuts so people might have expected more than other debuts? it seems plausible
I can only speak for myself. I had absolutely no expectations because that is unfair to TXT. But Crown was very very generic sounding to me. The song didn’t stand out to me whatsover. But I looked up the lyrics and they were nice. I could care less about the storyline if the songs are not good in my opinion. I was dissapointed tbh. But nonetheless, I guess they are targeting pre and early teens. I wish them all the luck.
We're bts fans. We are not txt's target audience. You see they don't want to make another bts like many other companies do. They wanna be the new txt. So they'll be different. And their content will mature as they do. I'm happy bighit is trying something different. Armys will cheer for them right now, and then slowly txt will get their own fandom, which will include a few armys as well, but also others.
BTS is free to manage their own twitter, they have some drunk tweets and they sometimes get scolded by bighit because of things they post but they still manage their accounts and that’s why I like bighit they always give BTS more freedom than other idols gets
Adorable Representative MC for Youth Well apperantly yg didnt pay his taxes and is going to jail or sumn, but hes not actually going since the man is too powerfull but yeah idk what happened After that the news wont cover it (gee I wonder why😑)
*I think Bighit is actually smart by elongating the teaser period* . Initially, TxT were only called ''BTS' brother group'' or something along those lines by a lot of people. Some ARMY could barely wrap their heads around the idea of paying attention to them whilst still being BTS fans. TxT needed time or else they would have debuted too quickly and ended up in the shadow of BTS for a while. The comments mellowed down after a few teasers to people actually being interested in what the boys sound like and what their music would be as opposed to how similar or dissimilar they are to BTS. Not sure if I'm making sense but yh
If I'm not mistaken, Kang Daniel was actually one of the LOWEST paid members in Wanna One because of the way the money distribution worked. CJ E&M would give each company 100,000, the company would take half of that and the other half would be given to the idols but since Daniel and Jisung were under the same company, they only got 25,000 each and that payment would only happen once every 6 months. If you look at all of the other members from Wanna One, Daniel has been the least active since their disbandment and I think it's because his company don't have enough staff to promote him and Jisung at the same time. They've been milking Jisung for all he's worth these last couple of months because he's a 91 liner and has to enlist soon but I don't think it's fair that Daniel should have to put his career on hold for months on end just because the company doesn't have the resources to manage them both simultaneously. I get it, Daniel is WAY more popular than Jisung so it makes sense to let Jisung come out first so that he's not in Daniel's shadow but I think making him go completely without work while Jisung is promoting is taking it too far. I don't see any reason why Daniel can't be working on varieties or filming CFs while Jisung is promoting music. Hell, they'd probably be able to get Jisung booked on more shows if they packaged him with Daniel! There are even rumours that Daniel has gotten drama offers and the company is turning them down if I was him I'd be pissed off too!
How could daniel become the lowest paid member. No totally no. He's absolutely the highest one. if it based on group activities all member has the same distribution payment except jaehwan because he doesn't linked to any agency that time. the payment was distributed per member not because he came from same agency and it divided. Daniel must got more from his solo activities. Do you know daniel already sent the request to modify clauses in the contract since feb 1st? that is 2 days after wannaone last concert. so he must think about the contract a lot and it stated if there's no changes he would consider to terminate the contract. that's how the issue came up and it was also the reason of his disappearances these days. If you follow wannaone promotion you would know how suck ymc, cj, swing managed wannaone. So I don't think it's about lack of staff. they could hired more people because they are new brand agency who got lot of fresh money from wannaone activities. I more agree with danny there must something he realized later after the exclusive contract was made. and it's true the ceo should simply kneeling to him because daniel and of course jisung are the only assets they had also the reason they vanished mmo and rebrand as lm entertaiment. as you said some rumors said that Daniel has gotten drama offers but the company is turning them down. you would pissed off I think either daniel. it must have been due to resentment and disappointment that had accumulated so that he dared to do that. Regarding jisung I believe this is the only time they and jisung himself had time to promote. because we already know jisung will go to army soon. the only reason why daniel didn't filming any varieties or having a new cf it's totally because he is in a dispute with lm so many offers got cut off.
Please stop spreading wrong rumors! Daniel is NOT the one who got the lowest paid! He is actually the highest one like olahan ikan said. The reason LM couldn't promote Daniel is that he disagreed with some contents in the contract that we don't know. It's nothing to do with Jisung. Spreading wrong rumors is not the way to help Daniel. All we can do now is just waiting for his own statement and support him anytime when he needs us.
wtf are you saying? Jisung has nothing to do with Daniel's issue with LM! And besides Daniel has been actively working while he is in W1. He got all the endorsements, cf and variety. What so big deal to let him rest just for a little while? It's not even a year that he is been in hiatus. If Daniel has a problem with his contract to LM, it's between the two of them. Jisung has nothing to do with these shits. Don't drag Jisung here! Anyways, Daniel already make a wise decision not to file a lawsuit to LM but instead they will settle it whatever disagreement they have.
Okay, I appreciate that you talk about the Kang Daniel situation, but aah, I can't help being a little bothered by some things said. First of all, LM Entertainment is MMO Entertainment and B2M Entertainment, you got that right. They have the same staff, just a different CEO and a different name, but the staff actually manages the artists from MMO and B2M as well (Davichi, Eric Nam, Roy Kim). MMO's CEO is Stone Entertainment's CEO. LM's CEO is a former employee of YMC (YMC staff who also moved to Swing Entertainment to manage Wanna One), and one of their directors is a former manager from B2M. So that means Daniel and Jisung have been the main source of income for these companies for 1 year and 6 months, and I have to point out that MMO never invested in training for them. When they went to PD101 they only had one staff for all the MMO trainees. Now, I get what you mean about many people depending on an idol and possible mistakes from them affecting the company's employees, but that does not mean the company should have full control over them to the point they have no rights. They are human beings, not actual products. After Daniel sent a request to fix the contract, the company closed all communication, gave him no activities, and stopped managing his fancafe and all other social accounts. Blocking Daniel completely from any type of communication, except for his fancafe. But any posts there could be deleted. In fact some posts from fans talking about the connection between companies and the obvious mediaplay from the company have been delated. So Daniel needed at least something that only he can control just in case. He is not dumb. He already learned his lesson in SNS mistakes during PD101. To me a company having complete full control over idols is a problem, because that often leads to abuse from the company, and we all know Korean entertainment companies have a history of abuse.
@@check13guamThe injunction is just the start of the battle. This could drag for months if LM requests for other delays. If they dont delay it again, results could take from 2 to 4 weeks more.
idemandacookie 😳😩I guess I misunderstood what was going to happen on 4/24. I thought he would be back on stage soon. The entertainment industry is messed up if this is the way they treat someone like Kang Daniel. I'm very very sad
@@brendatomines8171 I think he registered his restaurant as a retailer. But either way, that's what plenty of restaurants do and from what I heard, that's not entirely illegal.
Your discussion about the managed social media accounts is a good example of the Korean music industry vs. the Western music industry, and I think it goes back to an earlier conversation about Korean vs. Western culture. Korean culture thinks collectively, while Western thinks more individually. A western artist might post inappropriate tweets, but that would most likely make them more interesting rather than a liability. While I can understand the community mindset of K-pop, a heavily managed social media account doesn’t necessarily communicate respect and responsibility towards the collective for me, but rather a lack of authenticity in terms of the artists’ expression. As a result, I feel a loss of connection with them because I’m not entirely sure that a curated social media post is an honest one. Good discussion, guys.
Yes, exactly! Makes it feel like kpop idols aren't people because it feels like we don't really fully know them, but rather that we only know their face or the representation of them or what the company allows them to put out. It sucks because you want believe that you value an idol for their morals, values and overall personality but then you don't know how much of them is really ...them.
That's why I feel like if there were guidelines for what they could post, they could post whatever they want according to them. Don't give them complete freedom to shitpost, but don't completely take their authenticity and closeness to the fans away.
I don’t believe that we are always seeing the authentic artist in either music world. We see what they let us see. The North American music industry tends to use controversy to promote their product, while Korea shies away from controversy and goes after the polished image. It’s a balancing act for North American artists as they have to be notorious enough to be in conversations, without actually stepping too far over the transgression line. On the other hand, vFor the Korean artist, image is everything. A perceived tarnished image can cause an individual to be easily replaced and forgotten. For a North American, it seems like they are not allowed to be human. They instead become the company’s puppet in pursuit of gaining fame, and/or fortune. (I am not making a statement on which is the better model). I am just suggesting that in neither case, do we see the real person. We see the person that the marketing team puts out.
I can't believe it's already 2 years, since they debuted, they have come a long way, proved themselves with their amazing talents and discography, can't wait to see them reach the top soon
Some of the most famous american and european producers also use pirated software and don't really tries to hide it. I think it's kinda accepted and that's pretty bad skjskjs (I used to as well tho so I can't say shit lmao)
Exactly like you see the success that itzy are getting now, not try to bring them down cause I loved the girls, but they wouldn't be so hyped up if they weren't from jyp.
Like BH is joining the big ranks and people gotta realize that there are perks to that, perks that many other Big3 idols have reaped from. It’s nothing new 😂
It’s also why some of the new rookies of popular 3rd gen. Groups are known. It is not unfair it’s smart. For example very very, cherry bullet, even g idle. It’s not a bad thing and it makes people more intrigued
Yeah... TXT surely will not going through the same hardships BTS had before to get people noticed them, so it's their advantage & also BH advantage.. The hardship they will get is mostly being compared to BTS & getting too much pressure & high expectations from people.. Let's just wait & see if they will be able to make it
With TXT and their message, it really goes into what individual members relate to the most I think. Bighit and Bang PD have always told BTS to talk about what they feel, their opinions and who they are and that is BTS. If what TXT concerned are not ''deeper'' topics I think that is fine too as long as what they talk about is what they really feel and personally relate to. I think it really creates the sense of genuinity and authenticity in the way they express themselves. I think that is a good start. I think Bighit really is trying to tailor their group brand image as true as the members dynamic and personalities as much as possible, so definitely what they talk about will be different both in terms of depth and topics. To be honest, if TXT start off by talking about the 'deep' topics they might be compared BTS and that really could give negative feedbacks as well.
I agree that TXT got a boost because they're from bighit but you could say that about almost any idol group debuting from any big company. Also I don't think it's a bad thing that they did because I'm sure they're aware of it and will take advantage of it and work hard. Right now TXT's music isn't my favorite but I think they're talented, the vocals on Nap of a Star show that and their choreo is super cool and clean. I think over time they'll grow and evolve and find themselves and their music style. I'm excited to see what the future holds for them.
i love this channel so much! i don’t know how hard it was for you guys to quit reactions, but the quality of the content on your channel has improved so much ever since and i’m so happy both of you decided to make this change.
In my opinion, the ability to have control over their own IG accounts depends on the idol themselves. I think if the idol is older and has at least 2 years of experience, they should be allowed to control their accounts, because they would be old enough to do so. But there can also be people who do stupid things despite their age and experience, I means that's why we're human. For this I say it depends on the idol's personality and stuff. Regarding TXT, the promotion was a bit offsetting for me, but I got completely hooked on the MV, I just felt so happy listening to it and the story was adorable and touching at the same time. It's the kind of story that can be put into any kind of context. The dance also looked really fresh to me like the intro, then the wave thing and the dance at the bridge where they slip out of each other's arms or smthg. Plus the part where they incorporated the morse code for dreaming into the song was the selling point for me. That was just really amazing, a wonderful debut imo. Like others said, it suits their age and they might change as they grow older. Either way, I can't wait for their comeback!!
dramafast.com is the best, they dont have that many ads, like just 2 at the start of the episode and thats all, and they are also really fast with subtitles. But for kshow the best is Kshow123. Kissasian is just good for old movies.
I watch on myasiantv as well Daebakdrama is really nice as well But you know some of the sites don't have all the dramas Kissasian is just superior to all the sites😂
The thing is that lm ent didn't let Daniel handle his accnt and didn't manage it themselves either..it was just left abandoned for more than a month with no single update from their side as well
These DKnews keeps getting better and better! 😋 Loving the edit of “pirating” too funny and cute! Thanks for that oopsie info. Can’t believe I didn’t hear about that. Keep it up guys. Loving the valid arguments you present 😄
I once underestimate TXT. Not because i don't like them since the very first beginning, but more likely I don't want to have a too high expectation from them just because they are bts's 동생. I guess TXT prove me wrong then I think their concept is fresh. Not my cup of tea at first try listening to their songs. But somehow I got used to it and became my jam Congrats for the debut TXT !!
i thought bts were allowed to post what ever they wanted, sure they must have a social media team. but i've seen their drunk posts. so it must not have been very strict.

Also, leave your reply for who you think holds their liquor the best. I think it's either Suga or Jimin (with the slight edge to Jimin).
Sitting here, watching your video, i realized that i have been following your guys' channel since i started stanning bts back in like early 2017. Anyways, i'm really enjoying the content you guys are putting out! Also, you guys brought up a good point about how the artist's reputation not only affects them but their company and the people that work there too. Honestly i never really thought of that perspective so its really eye opening.
txt's debut was by no means bad -- the song was cute and fresh, the choreo stunning, and the members are all obviously talented -- but there is no denying that them being from bighit is what has given them so much attention. i wouldnt hold that against them though: from the interviews it shows they appreciate how hard bts had it back in 2013, so we shouldnt resent them for not having to got through the same struggles. also cat and dog is kind of like shrek; ostensibly for younger audiences, but there is a lot for older listeners to enjoy as well. soyeon using pirated software is iconic. down with big business capitalism, get that dollar through talent, not money. i think idols should be given freedom on sns. we're all sick of hearing that bts got famous through twitter alone, but there is no denying that a connection is grown through seeing idols as humans -- drunk selcas, ugly pics, and all. lm or whoever need kang daniel a hell of a lot more than he needs them, they should at least let him manage his own account.
paepsae I actually don’t think it’s wrong if you got interested in them because they’re in the same company from BTS. I feel like because people say “I think they’re only popular because they’re from the same company. If they weren’t from bighit they wouldn’t be popular.” That puts a lot of strain on them. And that kind of thinking is really popular among popular labels, garnering them hate before they even debuted. But I guess it has to be like that for sometimes. They debuted for a week. I think we should give them lots of time to grow before judging them too quickly.
@@tammydang7689 I mean being from a big company/ BTS brother group gave them more love than hate, I doubt they would have broken the record if they were from MMO entertainment or idk, but at least they have exposure to show their songs
I just think bighit saying they are gonna be the best new group of 2019 is pretty sure of themselves. No group has been able to say that with such certainty and its kinda gross that their success is guaranteed because of BTS. Maybe I'm to harsh though idk.
I kind of agree with the first point and reminds me of Itzy. Itzy had the highest debut MV in 24 hours...only to be beaten by TXT. Itzy had the fastest music show win...only to be beaten or met by TXT. It's not surprising when you think about it.
OMG! This is the funniest video I've seen from you guys and because of this I finally subscribed! ! Geez I needed a good laugh guys, you're so funny yet you make good, valid points. Keep up the great work can't wait.
I like how you guys included South Korean news too please continue its interesting. Also my highschool used pirated Photoshop in my Advanced Photography class lol.
I kinda agree on the social media thing. From certain presidents to beauty gurus, I've seen a lot of examples where people got into trouble or just looked stupid because of a tweet that was probably made in the heat of the moment. It's ok for a private citizen, but as soon as you have any official/representative function, you need some kind of filter.
I have to disagree. I think the artist should be able to manage their own instagram/social media if they would like. Im saying in the sense we know its a personal insta acc or twt. They have the official acc for those posts and their "personal" ones for their own opinions. Just like you two, there should be separation between personal and official social media acc.
Well, idols are expected to be perfect so they can't do whatever they want to. Imagine there is an idol who likes racist jokes and he tweeted it. This can end his career. Not all people are wise.
@@Cherry_Jelly Right so I believe there should be an education on social media as part of a celebrity's training. Ie they train on etiquette in the public or like how to speak already add social media to the mix. The company can control their socials but the artist should be able to control theirs
@@vanswli12 And the addition of guidelines would be good too. If you had some rules about what they could post, then an idol will know if they're about to break those rules. And the company could review the post before posting it if it falls into the gray area. You have to remember that unlike over here in the west, the label that an Idol is a part of is a huge part of their career, it's much more tied to them and unlike in the west, if an idol does some stupid shit, the company is also going to suffer losses, not just the idol who did that stupid shit. Companies need to take precaution to appeal to the Korean culture.
Cant wait for your next discussion on burning sun and allegedly crimes related to it Ps: i just watch the live streaming of jjy arrival from LA, so many people at the aiport with media and etc.
Thank you for a fun 30 min. As for the piraty issue I also try to only use legal distribution but for example if a movie or a drama I really want to watch is not licensed and available on a site like Viki, then it's like the licence holder saying to the millions of KContent fans all over the world "look guys we don't need/want your money just go on and watch our content for free, we don't care"
It's true, TXT is targeting a much younger generation like my Disney's Mickey Mouse Club days when Britney and JT were starting out. I am more in line with BTS now. I think if it weren't for BigHit, I would NOT have clicked and watched the "Crown" video. 😂😂😂LMAO! "Only porn from verified users...!!!!"
When Kang Daniel was transferred from MMO to LM (that's basically the same agency) on february 1st he wanted to change some closes on his contract through certification of content the same day as the transfert with asking for the agency to go through new negotiations before february 28th or else he would consider the actual contract as nullified. But his agency didn't open new negotiations and instead for the whole february month they locked him in company dungeon and confiscated his socials media. And they're media playing with false rumors to try to corner him so that he can't leave the agency.
i really enjoyed this one! I think handling your social media accounts should be filtered and managed especially if you are a celebrity, but I think it all depends on like you guys said on the clause, contract and social media uses like what you see on instagram VS twitter. They're celebrities and if they were to post hate rants like most people do, could you image the damage that would happen every minute to hr? So yes. Kang Daniel if he can get his clause fix, that would be wonderful ..but I definitely agree his company should be almost bending to his needs, because he could've chosen another company to go too and I think he should have. He wasn't even know before being there for 4 years, and it wasn't until WannaOne that put him on the map. So it'll be interesting to see what the Co. will do to "mend" the relationship.
Txt CROWN mv was TRENDING in my country(INDIA) at #2 can you believe that? It's beyond our imagination; txt is the first ever kpop group to trend in our country in RUclips. Surprise Ps it's very tough to break in Indian Market; and I am still not over this😢😢
1) TXT and BTS seem to have a good relationship so everything seems to be okay. I also believe BigHit knows what they are doing, they know what fans would and wouldn't want. They also listen to fans. 2) I'm sure she used it in her trainee days as well. I mean not everyone in the world is rich. I think you just have to do what you gotta do to achieve your dreams. she used it to learn then now she has made great songs. 3) the bridge... i have no words for that kind of stupidity literally no words. 4) BTS controls their own social media tho! So does IU... I believe if the company has faith in the artist they would allow the artist to control their own social media. Like you said there are many people who work under the company and artists, who rely on them however, I also believe the artist should have their own freedom. In IU's case she even raised her staff's salary. Look after someone and, they'll look after you in return.
I believe DKDKTV more than i believe myself!! Also the fact that the social accounts of most of the idols are worked on according to their agency and they are being restricted to post anything according to their wish really sucks.

I am the am the same age as Taehyun and Hueningkai. And so think that's the reason I could relate to Crown's lyrics. Ppl might say it's about puberty. TXT themselves said it's about the growing pains about teenage .But when I see the lyrics I didn't help but think it's a little deep. During teenage phase, ppl tend to develop their own opinions about life and sometimes these opinions or choices are not right according to Society so they often face criticism from Parents, aunts, neighbours etc. I think the song sums at saying that the teenager's unique, different choices for which they get so much hate aren't bad. They make you stand out. Treat them like your Crown's, not your horns and wear them with pride

I'm glad Big Hit is continuing the theme of "artists and music for healing"

Yeah, TXT slow promo lost steam for me too. But turns out I really like their music, more than I thought i would. Super upbeat and danceable, fun, lovely. And I LOVE Cat and Dog! Anyway, i think they're really good quality.

I think it was the best way to promote them, they didn't hype them so much and build these great expectations, it was so smart going slow and kinda low key
I love blue orangeade
Believe me, those people who created those software also once a student who were not rich enough to buy and subscribe super expensive software and they also use pirated software to learn. They would understand.
What actually is pirated software??
20's and 30's and 40's and 50's etc etc etc etc. Widespread.
I agree with you, also good music is good music, no matter how old you are. For that we can count on BigHit / RM / Suga to make goog with/for TXT.

@@persephonelilith2662 You'd be surprised at how many "older ARMYs" there are in the fandom. The age range goes more from 20-30 and even older.

But really, BTS' music touches all ages.
lmao for once Danny has the moral highground
Personally I think their debut album is still just an introduction to txt. Once they start adding their own songs and ideas we’ll get a real taste of what they’re capable of and I can’t wait to find out! I‘m still obsessed with crown tho like I can’t stop watching the mv😣
In the first BTS album I think they just helped in two songs, but with time bighit let them have their own freedom, I think txt will also in the future.
We all know even for bts members themselves, they still find it real hard for their songs to be "accepted" by the producers. They all want to be namjoon yoongi and hobi
That's also what happened to TXT i guess.
That's true for every single artist...
Same! They're pretty nice and talented guys but that's it for me, I'll check out the rest of their future mvs maybe but that's all for me
Mid-sized labels often use the "little brother" or "little sister" term to promote idols so that they can work off the hype their more famous and older idols produce.

Exactly!! Like for God sake they just debuted 3 days ago.people have to appreciate because they were even able to come up with an EP.

So true👏👏
So then Woojin and Daehwi too.. interesting (if it's true)
Totally agree with you..

#TEA ☕
All true...but one serious misshap can end your career unlike America. And the initial investment by companies make Korea a different game.

Kissasian is life saver for me WAHAHAHHAAHHAHAH
dramafast.com is the best, they dont have that many ads, like just 2 at the start of the episode and thats all, and they are also really fast with subtitles. But for kshow the best is Kshow123. Kissasian is just good for old movies.
I watch on myasiantv as well
Daebakdrama is really nice as well
But you know some of the sites don't have all the dramas
Kissasian is just superior to all the sites😂
@@sschwarz2084 I don't think so
I'm broke af I'm a school student I don't even wanna know if there is any legal way to watch kdramas or not😂
@@sschwarz2084 may be u can watch in VIKI
Ondramanice is also good site w/o any ad
The thing is that lm ent didn't let Daniel handle his accnt and didn't manage it themselves either..it was just left abandoned for more than a month with no single update from their side as well
I will always enjoy YG dancing on your intro HAHAHA
dkdktv is my happy pill
My favourite duo
Digging deeper into kpop🔥❤👊
These DKnews keeps getting better and better! 😋
Loving the edit of “pirating” too funny and cute!
I guess TXT prove me wrong then
I think their concept is fresh. Not my cup of tea at first try listening to their songs. But somehow I got used to it and became my jam
Congrats for the debut TXT !!
Anindita Kinanti it’s 동생 :3

I SEE KANG DANIEL, I CLICK :') bcause we miss him so bad :')
i thought bts were allowed to post what ever they wanted, sure they must have a social media team. but i've seen their drunk posts. so it must not have been very strict.
@you got no jams they've been deleted, but Google is your friend! Namjoon drunk af, yo!
Let's not forget Jin drinking offscreen during a VLive with Jimin despite the 'no alcohol during VLive' policy. XD
Namjoons drunk tweet is Gold xD they also had drunk posts on fancafe lol

Eli Von lmaoooo😂😂😂😂 omg namjoon’s so cute I think he was destroying the keyboard or something
The title should be *"Danny watches verified porn"*
Still thinking about they said to TXT....
txt's debut was by no means bad -- the song was cute and fresh, the choreo stunning, and the members are all obviously talented -- but there is no denying that them being from bighit is what has given them so much attention. i wouldnt hold that against them though: from the interviews it shows they appreciate how hard bts had it back in 2013, so we shouldnt resent them for not having to got through the same struggles. also cat and dog is kind of like shrek; ostensibly for younger audiences, but there is a lot for older listeners to enjoy as well.
soyeon using pirated software is iconic. down with big business capitalism, get that dollar through talent, not money.
i think idols should be given freedom on sns. we're all sick of hearing that bts got famous through twitter alone, but there is no denying that a connection is grown through seeing idols as humans -- drunk selcas, ugly pics, and all. lm or whoever need kang daniel a hell of a lot more than he needs them, they should at least let him manage his own account.
paepsae I actually don’t think it’s wrong if you got interested in them because they’re in the same company from BTS.
Lmao I was done when David mentioned kissasian 😂
True tho I cannot imagine living without it
Why did he have 2 expose us too tho 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've stopped downloading illegally thanks to netflix and spotify but every now and then I'll torrent a movie sooo

lets be honest... we all grew up with limewire #noshame
Chris let's not forget Kazaa
I like how you guys included South Korean news too please continue its interesting. Also my highschool used pirated Photoshop in my Advanced Photography class lol.
I kinda agree on the social media thing. From certain presidents to beauty gurus, I've seen a lot of examples where people got into trouble or just looked stupid because of a tweet that was probably made in the heat of the moment. It's ok for a private citizen, but as soon as you have any official/representative function, you need some kind of filter.
I as a Russian wasn’t even surprised about the boat thing 😂 The captain was probably like „Hold my beer, I‘ll do that“ 😂
I was looking for a comment related. Thank you! 😂
cmon guys... Don't be so harsh with my Princess, She did a li'l oopsie, We all do :3
AAAAA this talk is REallY entertaining thank u for making my day
Danny you are passionate about the weirdest things XD
Omg you guys are so funny and actually make listening to the news fun! 😆
First 30 min of my day has been effectively spent here. Love it!

Awesome video you guys. Keep doing what you love and stay positive.
Danny say puberty one more time I swear
Thank you for a fun 30 min.
As for the piraty issue I also try to only use legal distribution but for example if a movie or a drama I really want to watch is not licensed and available on a site like Viki, then it's like the licence holder saying to the millions of KContent fans all over the world "look guys we don't need/want your money just go on and watch our content for free, we don't care"
"Im genuinely pissed" 😂
Surprise
Ps it's very tough to break in Indian Market; and I am still not over this😢😢

*seing this salsa news while waiting for the best seungri scandal explication because i only can trust DKDKTV*
This just made me love bighit more since they give bts full access👏
The more videos m watching, the more m falling for David Kim. He is my new bias .❤😂 OMG
15:15 omg I'm Russian and I didn't check news that day and didn't know about it ksksksk and wtf why did he drink
The only thing I got from that part of news is Katyusha stuck in my head, thank you DKDK
I loved that boat story it was so funny 😂😂 also, i actually really liked that you gave some general news, even if it wasnt related to kpop
well tbh i dont think that using pirated software is a big deal because im a broke student T^T (pirated songs are another thing tho)
also please please talk about the seungri and yg issue in brief !!! please 🙏🏽🙏🏽 like not opinions but just update us on whatever has happened till now !
18:04 David's eyes keeps looking back and forth 😂😂
shit this is creepy. i wonder why i did that
Danny is just becoming more and more wild and honestly...I'm here for it. (But also thank god for David making sure it doesn't always get too outta hand.)

Is porn legal in SK? I always heard that porn hub was blocked in SK?
it's illegal, but people still watch it lol
no but you can used VPN and watch porn in south Korea while tricking the IP to thinking that's you in the US
Pornhub is not blocked but many other sites are... (I tested it for science)
@@epifanny I'm actually kinda interested in what SK porn is like. Is it like amrrican porn where.. Uhh... Well, it's pretty debauched. Or is it more subdued and realistic? Why do I want to know this so much??
@@krazyglue1 mostly they prefer soft kind of porn. No hardcore stuff like in the west. There's a vid on yt where korean dudes react to western porn and they were terrified lol

so...I hear Katyusha...I sing lmao:
