EGGLESS DORA CAKE
Preparation time 15 minutes
Cooking time 15-20 minutes
Serving 4
Ingredients
1 cup Refined flour , मैदा
¾ cup Powdered sugar , पिसी हुई चीनी
3 tbsp Condensed milk , कंडेंस्ड मिल्क
½ tsp Baking powder , बेकिंग पाउडर
1 tsp Honey , शहद
1 tsp Vanilla essence , वनीला एसेंस
½ cup Milk , दूध
1 tbsp Butter , मक्खन
For Filling
2 tbsp Hazelnut Chocolate Spread , हेज़लनट चॉकलेट स्प्रेड
The authentic filling is however made with red beans (azuki beans) cooked in sugar and made into a paste
Process
In a bowl add refined flour, powdered sugar, condensed milk, baking powder, honey, vanilla essence, milk, butter and mix well and make a batter.
Now heat a non-stick pan and a ladle full of the batter and cook it until golden brown then flip it on to the other side and cook that as well.
Repeat this process with the rest of the batter. And let them cool down a little.
Then take on cake and spread the hazelnut chocolate spread on it then place another cake on it and press a little.
Serving immediately and enjoy it.

But what he really meant was, Because there is already some Baking powder lying at home (In most cases) it's effectiveness is reduced and therefore we should use a little extra everytime to get a better outcome. Dora-yaki is also called Mikasa-Yaki (三笠焼き) in some region for its shape reminds of Mt. Mikasa. (By the way, Dora in Doraemon came from Dora-neko, which means a stray/wild cat.)

Thank you for the recipe! I just had one question. I feel that both sides of the pancake should have the same uniform brown texture. However, in your video, one side's brown texture has a smaller radius than the other (the side cooked first has a larger and more uniform brown texture). So is this okay, or is there a way to have the exact same texture on both sides?
