Nice! I use the same fingering on tenor, roughly a flat 12th harmonic over the palm F. Any guidance regarding altissimo F on alto? I generally use 1,3,4,6 but for the life on me, I only hit it either 20 cents flat or 20 cents sharp. The Sfz altissimo E# in the first movement of the Lars Erik Larsson Concerto still instills fear in me, some 30 years after leaving the music conservatory ;-). Cheers!
try the fingering 1, bis, bottom side key, and high f# key. If you don’t have it try altissimo key, bottom side key, and 4 these usually will come out for me
Even without special fingerings, here is up to an octave and a whole step higher using only low A harmonics. (on a baritone sax) ruclips.net/video/9hCc3H8Jjtw/видео.html

Great job 👍
Thats how our kettle sounds when the water is boiling 😂
Should that work on tenor?
I can play the really high one, but I cant play the one below it :/

Nice explanation but I’m having trouble getting anything above a altissimo C. Can you show how to get C# and D?
C# is overblown E (palm keys, overblown by a 6th). Same for D; overblown forked F.

Playing harmonics teaches how to control the embouchre and breath to get the desired pitch. A fingering alone might not do that.
I do often use palm key fingerings like he does. They are also harmonics.
