The PSNI and English police work in much different environments. Just yesterday there was a security alert outside a police station where I live. That's why things like this happen and they are perfectly within their rights to do so.

The PSNI and English police work in much different environments. Just yesterday there was a security alert outside a police station where I live. That's why things like this happen and they are perfectly within their rights to do so.

Just because it isn't a criminal offence doesn't mean it isn't suspicious. The police where well within there rights to question and search this man. Especially in northern Ireland, where every police officer is a target for paramilitaries. For all they know he was scouting the place out looking for weak points or blind spots to plant an explosive device. Police stations have been attacked over here. It's standard procedure for a PSNI officer to check underneath there car for car bombs even when they are off duty because the threat to there life is very real.

actually if you watch the fully video he was walking and down in front of 2 security installations, a police station and an army training base, which are areas of high alert in Northern Ireland due to the troubles and the ongoing paramilitary terrorists. The police had every right here to do this, he is just be ignorant of the historical situation here and that also our police have different powers to English police force.
