I just received this tool yesterday Feb 15th and am EXTATIC about the results I got with it instantly. The DUST EXTRACTION is worth the price alone when I'm working around my family during my renovation of our lower level. I like to describe it as a magic eraser for your floors.. It does such a good job in-fact, that you MIGHT just be able to leave your new concrete floors as is ;) well maybe not, but man ohh man, do I love this thing. Ohh one more thing, its EASY to use.. meaning the power is controlled, and you don't have to put a lot of effort into it.. It kinds of rides on it's own weight.
Great content, as usual, our host has great energy too. However I watch less and less of them because of the poor audio quality. Please learn how to adjust the volume boost on the mic better so that it doesn't "peak" or "clip" so much. Perhaps a compressor filter? Onward and upward.
What kinda English is he speaking? I was like what is “ipm”? Then I figured he may be meaning rpm and was just mistaken. Any ways nice grinder hard to understand the speaker.
Tell me winner, chicken dinner how do you scrape paint on the clipboards right underneath the edges with that depth gauge?! I just bought that tool and tried today and had to takeoff the depth gauge, and without that you have no control whatsoever, you make so much gouges and leaves very rough finish !!! Maybe you should be more honest next time presenting some tools(I own a lot of Festool tools I mean a lot and some of them are just not worth it)
I understand your frustration but what tools is perfect for all? I think he is being honest and does a good job while still trying to sell the product (of course), there will be issues.. inside corners are an issue with this for example, but I would argue that when it works for it's intended purpose just about 95% + of the time or more, it's a bad ass tool. Any-who - good luck with your projects!
I understand your frustration but have some realistic expectations. You can't do corners either. I haven't seen a tool that does 100% of a floor, be it sanding or grinding. There is always another tool or two required. I've found these videos to be reasonably honest. You could see the tool could not get into the corner in the first test and you could see the amount of dust not captured with the blue disk over the plastic orange substrate. You could always file down the lip of the front arc of the depth gauge.

What about removing paint from concrete or paint from cement plaster ? Which disc is suitable for this application ?

Was the CT 36 AC on AC mode. I couldn't here the thumps?
I’ve been looking for just such a grinder, it’s like the ROTO SANDER ON STEROIDS.
Would this be good for grinding gel coat off a bathtub bottom to get to the fiberglass
Probably not because of the curves.
Why is there no plug it cord?
I hope that handle gonna last, it is nice.
I'd like to do an RRP job with this.
