i remember listening to hit few months before i entered hs, it was a vibe man, almost doing nothing in middle, just ocassionally studying, who would knew i'd actually miss middle school, i was very shy, had to wake up super early, just wanting to go home and live in the past, but now i realized it was awesome while it lasted
Legs are always at a 90 degree angle, feet are always on the floor, flat feet, back straight, shoulders relaxed (this takes some time but you get used to it), and try to arc your hands more. You have the right idea, your fingers and your wrists are curved up but your knuckles are too close to the piano. Raising them will feel much better and give moe dexterity when playing harder pieces.
The back straight/shoulders relaxed takes some time to get used to simply for the fact most people aren't used to it. It's much more comfortable and, again, will give you more dexterity.
Rioty ok thanks, not sure if I can do the feet flat on the floor (long legs and non adjustable bench) but definitely the arched fingers and straight back.
Not sure what happens, it sounds crap on my piano... that may or may not have something to do with the fact my dad dropped it off the ute after we moved.
