I think this song is my favorite work from anyone of bts in this decade. Maybe i am too quick to judge but this is like almost spring day level of perfection in my opinion. I am really blown away by the visuals as well. Bro this mv looks better than most movies. Just insane

I once thought topping mono. was an impossible feat but no, Namjoon has absolutely done it. I shouldn't be surprised. What a rich album of love, self-reflection and growth he's given us.
The whole album was incredible but Lonely was my favorite. And Wild Flower made me cry, such a beautiful song and music video. And RM's tiny desk concert will be coming out in a few hours.

The lyrics of the song are lyrical and very philosophical. It's a really high-quality work. If I keep listening to it, I get emotional and cry. It's really touching. I think of melody and song lyrics even before I go to sleep.

This MV is truly a masterpiece!!! When I listened to mono for the fist time, I instantly fell in love with it, because it somehow gave me comfort and peace and with Indigo I feel the same! I truly love him as a person, but even more his artistic and poetic side and how he can express so many things in just one verse.
This makes me remember why I fell in love with BTS and why RM is my ult bias 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️💜 it's feels like I'm rediscovering him 😅 idk I just loved everything about this whole album... This is gonna be my go to album alongside Meloh's album...

He said he wants to be among the flowers with no names. And then he's lying in a purple flower field. Those flowers are us. He has no name and so do we. We love without ego! 💜

But the English translation is so powerful and poetic, too...but yes, native Korean language, I understand how powerful and emotional it is in Korean.

@@VanCityGal I'll try with my poor English 😅😅There are many ryhme in his korean lyric. For example, "When all this fame turned into shackles", 'fame' and 'shackles' have almost same sound in Korean. Another example, "My start was poetry", "Start" is pronounced "Si-Jak", and "Poetry(poem) " is pronounced "Si" in Korean, so "Si-jak' starts with "Si"(poem). His wordplay with double meaning is great.
THE ALBUM IS AMAZING, I feel like I have been wrapped in a warm blanket. It is hard to pick a favourite track as they all fit together from start to finish like one big story. This is exactly why BTS and each member can stand alone in the industry. They are nice to have like a cherry on top but we don't NEED visuals, we don't NEED a concept, we don't NEED to see the clothes/hair/makeup, we don't NEED videos - WE HAVE THE MUSIC. It can stand alone.
Oh one more thing - GRAMMY GRAMMY GRAMMY!💜
Indigo is like opening out your diary for all to see. Wildflower is THE song for me. The lyrics, music, raw emotion, visual - just name it, this man left no crumbs. Truly RM’s interpretation of life and prolific musical talent never ceased to amaze me.

The whole album... like every song got me speechless. 💜🔥
i love how he used the fact that the word for 'fire/spark' and 'flower' is the same in traditional korean and made it 'flowerwork' instead of 'firework.' the way it represents how he's still just a flower from the flower field even if he's shooting across the sky like explosive fireworks. esp bc their concerts end with a firework show. so even when he's soaring high as bts's RM, he's still the simple flower kim namjoon, and that's okay. this is such a beautiful song, and the whole album is a complete masterpiece: each song really does feel like a different chapter in namjoon's life. not to mention the genre diversity! namjoon really gave us, hip hop, folk, r&b, citypop and even hyperpop in the same album while still making it a cohesive body of work. truly one of my favorite projects to come out of bts/bts members in the past few years.
RM is a genius!!! What a masterpiece!!! Just incredible!! He wasnt my bias but after indigo, he definitely is now. But honestly they are all talented and thats why they're a powerhouse together!!

I don't know if you know this already, but Namjoon means for us to listen to the album in order. My top 3 is definitely Wildflower, Forgetful, and Change pt.2. It's such a sonically pleasing album with different elements and sounds. Genres like rnb, edm, jazz, ballads, and indie acoustics blend so well throughout the album. I've never heard such a cohesive, but diverse piece of work ever. He does such a great job of weaving stories and emotions into his works, it's insane and stunning.
Wild flower is just insane....it made me cry and made me fall in love with Namjoon all over again....this MV is just something like switching between RM and Namjoon... i mean Namjoon and the open field...RM the blue mic Army bombs is wow....what a visuals....what a music....and lyrics out of this world...every piece every bit is perfect...💜🔥💜💜💜💜💜💜 proud to be Army...proud of Kim Namjoon

This song is so gorgeous, and the video rips my heart apart. I just want to hug him. It really struck me that throughout all this pain and confusion, there are purple flower petals are falling down on him until the end when he's lying in a field of purple flowers, and the petals are raining down on him. Its like he was telling the story of how he's struggled, but he never stops feeling ARMY with him. My heart just breaks everything I watch this.
But luckily, the album is really good all around, and the whole mood is not like this.

I concur...its a perfect song. The whole album is beautiful. My favorites at the moment are Wildflower, Yun, Change pt.2, and honorable mentions Lonely, Still Life, All Day. Granted I haven't read lyric translations for half of them yet. It takes me a while to marinate over any BTS music but especially Namjoon as lyrics are his Forte.
