This is such a deep song. If you think back - BTS was built around him and he's carried that as his legacy for a decade. He spent years speaking for the band, leading them, protecting them and being an anchor. He's always conducted himself immaculately - owned his mistakes and sets a high bar for others. He is the embodiment of PRESIDENTIAL. The album is a beautifully curated work of art - just as he intends it to be. This song is a sad, honest and hopeful opening piece. JHope burned everything to the ground and we all met Jay. Jin went to the stars as The Astronaut promising to return. Kim Namjoon made a whole art gallery called Indigo and is personally giving us a tour 💜
"JHope burned everything to the ground and we all met Jay. Jin went to the stars as The Astronaut promising to return. Kim Namjoon made a whole art gallery called Indigo and is personally giving us a tour" This is so beautiful and perfect! 💜
really love how RM said he didn't want to be like fireworks, bc even tho its so flashy and everyone would stop and stare at it in amazement, it also dies so quickly and ppl even forget what they look like in a minute. but flowers, when you throw them in the air and the petals explode, its so ethereal that even as it falls down, it falls with grace and gives you a lasting impression and a sense of tranquility. that's how he wants to be and its fitting to think that's also how the rest of bts wanted to be: not just a passing presence in the music world, but ppl that made a genuine impact. 🥺
That's very well said, this also reminds me of what SUGA said about how he for himself and also for BTS wants to have a beautiful gradual landing not a sudden fall. The flowerwork falling definitely symbolise that beautiful landing (whenever they will have someday). For now we'll all be waiting for their return.

I was waiting for you all to post your thoughts. I'm 51 years old & can remember old school rap music. This has very R&B hip hop feel. I love this album so dam much already.
This is so powerful. The song, video and entire album is pure vulnerability and honesty. Namjoon basically ripped open his chest and said here I am. See me, all of me; here is my heart this is who I truly am. Ugh, I’m a wreck crying over this. He is just a genius 💙🙌🏻
Namjoon did state that you needed to listen to Indigo in order. After rewatching the dinner then had in June and the comments he made, I can’t help but think that he has wanted to show us who the real Namjoon is and that he also struggles with issues just like we do. I can see how lyric writing helps him to express himself in ways that he can’t do in ordinary conversations or interviews. This must have been a huge emotional weight off his shoulders. It’s kind of like-you’re always asking me who I am well here it is. You don’t need to ask anymore. Just my opinion. I have SOOOO much more respect for him now. 💜🦋🫰🏻
RM specifically said he want youjee powerful voice to signify the intensity of his feeling in wild flower. I highly recommend you guys to also watch Indigo Album Magazine Film (@BangtanTV YT) where he talk about each track, what the means to him, how they come about, how he decided who to be collab with and many more. Namjoon is the GOAT! A genius, an honest and a true form of talented and genuine artist.
Thank you for your reaction, guys. Namjoon baring his soul - deep and existential. Masterful work and Youjeen's beautiful vocals, like a burst of bright golden petals, is the perfect foil for Namjoon's deep soulful rap and vocals. RM the songwriter and performer has always been impressive but this song showcases the talent that made Bang PD decide that he just had to sign him up.
INDIGO ! Stunningly magnificent ! All ten songs are unique and sonically amazing. Each song stands on its own - richly textured, honest and at times exquisitely poignant. They elicit raw emotions from the listener; tugging at one's heartstrings and evoking one's memories. I find myself either grooving to a beat, swaying to a rhythm or simply staying still as I close my eyes and let my spirit soar. Indigo is a full sensory experience. It is the kind of music that one plays over and over again because there are just too many hidden jewels to discover. The instrumentation alone in each track is incredible. We hear so many elements - there's a touch of soulful jazz in a few tracks. The title track Wildflower has a sweeping orchestral feel to it. Youjeen's vocals are sublime. What a powerhouse! Cinematic, heartbreaking yet hopeful in the end. Namjoon in his element and such a perfect title track for Indigo. Hope you decide to react to the entire album on your channel. Namjoon and all the artists who joined him to create this magnum opus are spectacular.
This was a very raw, vulnerable, courageous and beautiful song. Im so glad he shared this side of him. I loved the song it was definitely powerful. Im so proud of Kim Nam-Joon right now.
This song encapsulates why RM was so emotional when he spoke at the festa dinner with the guys. He says it better in his lyrics because it is easier for him to talk about his own struggles that way, like SUGA he has AGUST D. This song though is beautiful lyrically and Yougeen's voice omg is stunning. 10/10 RM
You guys did better than me. I was crying by the end. With every lyric and every note you could feel the pain. And chosing yunjeen was perfect. Her voice reflected his angst. What an amazing vocalist! This entire album is yet another masterpiece! Rm, Namjoon, whoever...this man. This man is a poet.
I feel like he'll never be completely "done with" bts (the group relationship I mean). Since they and the group was still such a huge part of his life. But whenever they do stop making group music honestly I hope he starts writing books too (like you said). I mean this guy is deep hell and and such a creative and inspirational human being, even if he may not realize it. His mind is just so amazing💜🙄
@@justlivinglife1167 oh definitely, the guys will always have each other and I'm sure most of them will do some form of artistic things as they age. I miss the guys together, but I'm loving these solo projects.
Gracias familia WHATCHAGOT2SAY por Respetar las 24 horas del estreno de WILDFLOWER, ustedes merecen nuestro agradecimiento, admiración y respeto. ¡BORAHAE WCHG2S💜!
They always do as well as some few other reactors who only react to BTS because they truly love them and not for kpop stans. You can tell who are real army's and who are just using bts
Namjoon has incredible talent not only as a rapper. In Wildflower he shows his more sensitive and vulnerable side. He sheds fear of others' opinions to open up his braver side by exposing his inner self. His voice is sweeter and therefore even more powerful. Pure sensitivity. Wonderful job in every way.
This album is a window into RM's soul. The growth and maturity of his sound is so beautiful to see/hear. What I love most about Indigo and all of the members' solo projects is that they show that these men are ARTISTS in their own right. BTS has no weak links.
Absolutely breathtaking song with every emotion possible.....RM at his best tells it like it is or was....his voice is amazing....makes me wana cry...amazing song...100% love everything about this song...Youjeens vocals...WOW...........
Can we take a moment to recognize how many genres are in this album. The facets we see because of that. This man could have easily chosen IDOLS and even Western artists that would instantly be a hot buzz. Instead, he was meaningful and chose collaborators who he felt could add to the conversation. Many of them are legends in their own right and that speaks volume of RM’s talent.
I think that RM is the reason why i became an army. The way he gets in to my heart and soul by everything he does. His flow, his rhymes, his melodies, his lyrics, his beats, his way to pronounce the words and his voice. HIS VOICE. This song made me sad but when i listen to the whole album i feel good and happy. This young man has given me more comfort, self respect and undesrstanging than Noonelse ever. I love him and respect him and his Art forever. RM is a masterpiece himself. And thanks for you guys, i love you 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Yes, this song literally brought me to tears. RM/Namjoon will forever be my bias. You will definitely not be disappointed with his album “Indigo”. It’s amazing! Also, please react to him on NPR Music. Him with a live band makes it even better.
just the thought that we was thinking of stopping producing. he was really lost creatively for a while and this album is truly so personal, meaningful and important. also it's his last before enlistment so let's give this album and the mv our all. let's show him how loved and important his music is, army.
RM ha cargado en sus hombros durante 10 años a BTS y a ARMY.... y esta canción tiene un valor incalculable... porque por primera vez se muestra como Namjoon y no como RM el líder de bts... amo esta hermosa canción
So much respect for RM; I'm mindblown. The whole album is a masterpiece, but this is beyond anything I've heard before. And it was such a pleasure to share it with you, my all-time favorite reactors, because your reaction matched my own. P.S. Thanks for waiting 24 hours. I salute you. Borahae.
This was absolutely breathtaking it took my breath away. He just poured his heart and soul into this I am so proud of Namjoon. This goes to show this man is on a whole other level as an artist. Namjoon whole album is a Masterpiece absolutely brilliant. ❤❤
That man deserves the biggest hug EVER !!! its like he wasnt himself for YEARS !!! He deserves the world !!!! It's been a while a song made me cry this hard !!!!
He wants to be himself so bad that he wants to have no shame when he’s done and dead. Respect man! Also, he longs for the anonymity of a wild flower, but he’s not one, and he’s now ok with it, he’ll return to the flowers when he’s dead. Gotta love that Ilsam is the city of flowers too.
Thanks guys for sharing this with us, I totally needed this- This song reminds me that we all make an impact on the world by simply being ourselves… that’s what Namjoon did, he shared his true self. And it is so moving… Let’s do the same💜
I´m still in awe, my brain and heart still taking this in. What a talent and a gift to share your experiences like this. INDIGO is a before and after in music.
I feel like I need to study the lyrics and just let them soak into my soul. Every word is carefully chosen by Namjoon...there isn't one throw-away lyric in this entire masterpiece.
With this whole album, RM let us know he went through some things, the amount to which we will never know. He is laying it all bare. ARMY, embrace this confession and love letter from OUR leader. RM I love you and all the respect. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
As we all know how poetic Namjoon can be in his lyrics and this one is just another masterpiece from our Leader RM. I got emotional with this song cause these are his words. Sharing his emotions and knowing how he really feels really hit me right through my heart. I applaud him for his bravery in sharing us his Real Self. RM definitely means Real Me.💙💙💙
The visuals are aesthetically beautiful, just breathtaking. This MV just gives me goosebumps, it's definitely a beautiful masterpiece. All I can say is WOW. The line that caught me is "Ah, I'll return someday", it's like he's saying he'll come after being enlisted. That got me emotional plus Youjeen's voice. Thank you Namjoon for gifting us with this song, with this album. You are a great artist with real music. ♥
This was beautifully raw. The juxtaposition of purple ARMY bombs, glitz, encased in a stadium, and the petals of the purple wildflowers in a vast field of openness where he is just with himself...and really, that is all he needs to be. Nothing more, nothing less. Breathe and connect/return to yourself and feel the light that you are. Move from your spirit. Thank you to Namjoon for having the courage to share himself with us. His lyricism, the visuals and the intentional choice to have youjeen's vocals to hit this frequency home... 🍃💫💜💫🍃
Namjoon we are sooo proud. I love the vocals and I felt lots of emotions but same time uplifted. To everyone going through a hard time including myself, this song just delivered on time. Once again, BTS proves the power of using music for healing. Thanks Namjoon
I feel every piece of what Namjoon is sharing with us - just when I think I couldn't love him more... How lucky are we, ARMY?! We get to have our ears blessed, our minds blown, our hearts filled, and our souls stirred - 7 times over!!! 🙏🤸♀️🏵🎆💧🎵💜⁷
For me this 85% the message of this lyrics that hits me hard. 15% vocals + videography keeps me until the end of this MV and now I realized how broad and coherent RM is when it comes to inspiring all Army, and aside from that, he is not afraid of showing to the UNIVERSE his vulnerability, his raw and unfiltered thoughts. BRAVO!!!! Thank you guys. Always a genuine reaction to all of our boys 💜😍
As I listened to this song and watched the video, what came to my mind was how sometimes a field has to burn down to return healthy and even more beautiful. He’s been very honest about the struggles but has also made it a point that he, all the members, will be back.
¡Amo WILDFLOWER! ¡Amo todo lo que él hace!
I'm leaving this comment after watching the RM Indigo album magazine film video from Bangtan TV, and is something that left me with many thoughts about him but one. I wasn't thinking about RM as the "leader of BTS" but the true artist that he is. We had no idea who RM really is, we know he's smart, intelligent, capable artist now I'm seeing a very interesting, fresh, spontaneous with a new proposal to get to know him and love him individually the same or more that we love BTS or each member, now a totally understand what the frase "The best is Yet to Come" means. First J-Hope, now RM, I'm enjoying everything this 7 human beings are planing to stay in our lives for a very long long time. When all the music around us now is stagnant and some of them disrespectful, bad taste or fun, depending who you're asking to, here comes our Mr. Kim NamJoon with a refreshing and purposeful music and lyrics, colaborating with the right artists that convey and complement his intentions to give us a best way to listen and appreciate music.
I always admire how raw and honest BTS when making music. Them having a hard time dealing with fame which gives them pressure especially Namjoon who's the leader of the group. With all the fame and success they're having, there's always a darker side to it. It's the price of being famous unfortunately. He wants to be a wildflower with no name than being fireworks that blow up and gone in an instant. Such beautiful and meaningful lyrics from a very wonderful person. I hope he finds peace of mind from all his struggles as an individual and as part of BTS 💜
It's so soulful, it's his truth and I love everything about it. The song & mv as a whole is like a rare & precious glimpse at his heart & soul. Big things are going to happen with this song...plus I heard the whole album. I don't have words great enough to describe the absolute feeling of how impressed & moved I am. 100% Namjoon
Joonie and Yoojeen mix perfectly here, I understand why he really wanted her on this. She's a legend. And the cinematography is insane, especially the part where there was fire all around. Bravo for Namjoon for the whole album, recordbreaker!! 💜💜💜
Don't miss RM on Tiny Desk too. So much content around Namjoonie dropped at the same time. He is so deserving of all love and respect in the world 🙏🏼 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I've been listening to Indigo non-stop but your vid is the first time I've seen it - Holy cow! I really loved flower before but the vid just takes me to another level, particularly as I can read the lyrics -'even before the start I imagined an end where I could applaud and smile' - How unbelieveably deep and inciteful. 💜
Idk how many times I’ve listened to this song - and the album ever since it dropped. But this song, every time I hear it brings another emotion. Love his rawness in this. Poetic. Beautiful. Masterpiece. I’m at a loss for words each time. Thank you Rm for this album and reassuring us, through everything no matter what- we will be ok. Thank you for being our light. 💜
I always love seeing your reaction videos. Thank you for sharing your love for BTS with us. This song touched me in ways that I cannot adequately put into words; especially being older than most fans. I think RM is telling us how he’s always envisioned living his life. As someone who had no pretenses, lived out their beliefs and coming to the end knowing he was his authentic self. It’s How I’ve tried to spend my first 48 years on this earth and hoping to for the next 40 plus - living with no regrets.
When I was struggling & I said to my therapist, “Right now feel like my shadows are my friends that I can only fell safe & comfortable with.” & hearing that shadow lyric omg hit me hard. This is just totally raw & brave 🙌💜🧿
The more I listen to his songs, the more I fall in love with his music. The raw emotions, the way he expressed himself, and the different ways he showed us his raw self, it’s amazing. His vocals with the breathy and dusky baritone is mesmerizing. I can’t get enough of his voice. Watching him sing these songs live on Tiny Desk and Weverse was even more spine tingling.
I loved, loved, loved all your comments. I did not think it was possible for me to have more respect for RM but this album--he takes it to a level we could never imagine. It's seriously a masterpiece.

I cry every single time I hear it...the lyrics, the beautiful voice of yoonjeen...this is a masterpiece
😍😍😍😍OMG, I love your T-shirts 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙!!!!!!!!
Tbh, at first I mute the song, focused on the lyrics, yes I love poetry. I didn't just hear indigo, I read indigo 🥺 thank you RM.
Agreed, Wild Flower and the rest of Indigo are masterpieces. And I get chills every time Youjeen sings, what a voice.
RM just took his heart out and handed it to the world
A long time from now, whenever rm is done with bts, I hope he continues to write music for himself or others. I'd even take a book of poetry lol.
You can count on it :)
I’m so late but I hope BTS is not done for a very very very very VERY LONG TIME 🥹😭😂💜🤌🏾
Gracias familia WHATCHAGOT2SAY por Respetar las 24 horas del estreno de WILDFLOWER, ustedes merecen nuestro agradecimiento, admiración y respeto. ¡BORAHAE WCHG2S💜!
MV and lyrics so beautiful 🥰💜
They always do as well as some few other reactors who only react to BTS because they truly love them and not for kpop stans. You can tell who are real army's and who are just using bts
RM is the deepest person, he a genius. No want can touch him. I love Kim Namjoon💜💜💜❤
So much respect for you guys👍👍💜j
I cried while listening to this song... Listening to Indigo made me cry....
RM’s a musical 🎶 genius & Indigo’s a bloody masterpiece 🖼
And thanks for you guys, i love you 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
This song...I cry every listen
RM is so deep that i need co-ARMYs to interpret it with me, so I can appreciate him fully.
The song goes straight to your heart 💜 as the lyrics soo deep and soo raw! Youjeen’s voice is simply breathtaking!
The song has very deep meaning..Ave ril shade tears when listening to RM song...Oh God !!! We always be with u..🥰🥰🥰
I Must say WOW! RM Excellent Your writing skills is amazing.
Both RM and You-jeen ATE and did not leave any crumbs!! I always cry whenever I see RM in the field. It's so beautiful. 💜💙
when i heard the song for the first time it made me cry it's the proof that we, we are and people should love us as we are 😘😘😢
3 beautiful African American men embracing RMs truth is everything!! I have mad respect because YOU have mad respect for our boys (MEN)! Thank you for embracing them, respecting them and not being afraid to love them and their art! XO
Gotta love that Ilsam is the city of flowers too.
this song is so beautiful it's full of emotion 🤧💜 RM album is just amazing our leader killed it im proud of him 💜💜💙💙💙
Thanks guys for sharing this with us, I totally needed this- This song reminds me that we all make an impact on the world by simply being ourselves… that’s what Namjoon did, he shared his true self. And it is so moving… Let’s do the same💜
When i heard wildflower i felt like crying after finishing the song. It truly is a masterpiece and our Namjoonie is indeed no doubt a genius ♥️🥹🥹
Each word is perfect and he put it carefully in the perfect place.
Goosebumps here too. Her voice piercing to ya soul. The president delivering his truth effortlessly.
We love you RM❤
This song shows a vulnerability in RM. I love it.
Love your interpretation of the song.....RM is such a prolific artist. Wishing him genuine fulfillment in his life.
Okay. You guys are the reason why I'm signing up for patreon 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wanna see your reaction to Yun and Still Life!!!
Always a genuine reaction to all of our boys 💜😍
ustedes son los mejores, saludos desde Colombia
Y'all are simply amazing, and you reactions are so genuine that they make me smile.
As I listened to this song and watched the video, what came to my mind was how sometimes a field has to burn down to return healthy and even more beautiful. He’s been very honest about the struggles but has also made it a point that he, all the members, will be back.
this song is just so beautiful. namjoon is such a master of his craft. we're lucky we are alive to witness this incredible artist!
¡Amo WILDFLOWER! ¡Amo todo lo que él hace!
In Namjoon lyrics you can tell that his really broke inside, his screaming for being himself. Another masterpiece from our Leader Namjoon💜💜💜
True😭😭😭
I really loved this song, it has a calming affect to it. Well done RM
Hearing the song and reading all your guys comments here made me even more emotional🤧
Lighting a flowerwork, not a firework... says so much
Gorgeous poetry from Namjoon, great reaction 💜
This song. Omg! Her voice sold it for me. Rm thank you for this beautiful piece of art. 💜
Beautiful video. Loved the comments you fellahs👏👏
Omg yes!! How can one even listen to this without getting emotional? He is amazing.
