- This village needs more women!! Well that's what some of the male hill tribe members said...
We stop along the road not far from the high mountain village of Phou Khoun, at a small Hill Tribe village where old traditional huts cling to the mountainside. We discover 3 different people of Laos live together in this high mountain village. The Hmong, Khmu and Lao Loum live peacefully beside each other keeping their own customs and traditions. This video of our Laos trip is (pt3) of our "Road to the plain of Jars" series which sees us drive the wild roads of Laos from Vientiane to Phonsavan. Now in Lao with Lao wife, Neenee Lao life living in Laos capturing the Lao lifestyle, daily life in Lao, travel destinations and customs in their travel Laos videos and travel vlogs. Hmong hill tribe, Now to Lao, Vlogging Laos and Thailand!!

Thanks, was a great experience capturing it 🙏
such a beautiful laid back place. And your video helps bring it out. And Neenee"s translating of course too. Thanks for another wonderful peek at Laos.
Thanks Jay. It really does make it easier having Neenee along to translate 👌
This video is so nice to watch. I felt like I was there. I loved how friendly everyone was and how you and Nee Nee are so outgoing everywhere you go.
Thank you so much 🙏
Great morning at Hundred thousand colours Village ‼️ I love this trip good video mate ❤️👍
Beautiful village!! Soooo many nice villages in the mountains of Lao 💚
Love your vids! Keep up the good work.
Sabaidee, like it der! Nice drone shots. Cheers! 😂 😈 😤 Pai la! (. ..never had good /sweet pineapple in Australia ).
Jao sabaidee Lee... well I thought I had tried sweet pineapples in Aus, but they have nothing on the ones grown by these people. Nothing compares.
Brother the Subscriber count is up and climbing. All your efforts are coming to fruition, and as our family saying goes, Good things happen to good people.👍👌
Yes, slow and steady wins the race. No hurry. Those who appreciate stick around 👌
Thanks mate for your continued support 🍺
I see that you are wearing a 'sparkling bright coloured' T-shirt fit for strolling under the sunny day. It is summer / hot days over there? Hope you and Neene hsve a beautiful day!
Thank you soo much for your videos I never been to Laos but I am and I’m glad to learn through your Chanel for sure🤗
Great video, Todd and great footages! Thank you for sharing your amazing trip there in Laos.
I wonder if I could use some of the footages for an opening video about Laos? Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
Like that drone footage too.
Thanks Gregory 😝
Always a fan of the drone footage. Overall, a job well done.
Good to know. Thanks mate 👍
My parents grew up like the Hmongs in the mountain villages surviving on their own farming. My oh my how life has changed so much for us Hmongs in the USA.
I'm guessing Texas... 🙄😁
Amazing people Ninja...more videos of the Hmong to come 👌
@@NowinLao Greatest state in the union.
Thanks you for the kind words Tom! I live in Northern California. But want to move to Montana or Wyoming, more land, cheaper prices, less people, and less regulations. Ca is crazy in regulations. I don’t mind living in Texas either! I’d carry daily if I live in Texas. Love mine!! Haha
@@00ninja00 youd love it here. Lotsa wild boar to shoot and eat.
Once again Todd, OUTSTANDING! What a great village. Lao P D R ,, peoples democratic republic? From back when the government was a bit mre hardcore? Did you say one of the peoples there were Khmer?? I have tell you also, your editing skills are getting better and better and production as well, some of the drone shots are just, wow! I see even as remote as they are , a few houses have satelites dishs for the mind sucking tv and internet. If my money thing was diff, i think id like to come do a roadie with you and Neenee, in Lao,Thai,Viet or especially Oz. Ive wanted to do a trip from Sydney to Darwin since i 1st read about it as a kid. Thanks again ,you guys ,for broadening my view of the world
Thanks mate. Not Khmer, Khmu. Khmer are Cambodian, Khmu are one of the largest ethnic groups in Laos (around 32%) and are the native people of the country.
Always enjoy reading your comments Marlon. Your support and encouragement is much appreciated. Anytime you do make it this way, would be sure to spend some time showing you around.
Having a week off editing and using my last few days spending some quality time with Neenee before I return to work for the Australian summer. Next vid will be up in a week or so.
Take care my friend 🙏
The guy standing on the steps at about 3:26 was asking in Khmu....... "Where are you going"? Great videos keep it up.
Ahhh ok thanks. I asked Neenee later what he said but she could not understand him either.....because it was in Khmu.
Makes sense now. Thank you 🙏
Welcome and khmu
❤️
What was the temperature in the village as you were filming? Thanks for another good one. Cheers!
Not sure mate, probably down around 16C or so 🤔
Omg! The cutiepie at 9:35 is just too cute! 👍🏼🌿💗
A village full of cuteness 👍
ໂອຍ...ນີ້ແມ່ນບ້ານຂ້ອຍ, ເປັນເປັນຄົນລາວ ເເຕ່ເປັນເຜົ່າຂະມຸ,i live in that village , i am khmu tribe.welcome everyone here come to visit my country .peachful and very beautiful place.❤❤
Sabaidee 🙏 Thank you. You have a beautiful village and very friendly people. We really enjoyed visiting, and thank you for commenting. 🙏
it's great you had the drone footage in there so we could really appreciate how all those houses were built up along the ridge.....so cool!
Todd/NeeNee..love all your videos and drone shots from Laos I saw your video where subscribers are inquiring how to meet Laotian women why don't NeeNee set up a dating site with your assistance and see how that goes ..
Too bad you could not find a place to eat Hmong chicken, best chicken I have ever eaten:) Out. Be sure to get the sweet & sour sauce.
🙂🙂🙂
did they speak monkhmer language because they look exactly like us The khasi
How do you say Hello in your language?
Beautiful Great sharing . I had a cup of tea now inviting you to have a cup of Frappuccino from my little house. 🎁🔔👍 Thanks in advance
Thank you 🙏
I'm a indian. .what is the name of laos people tribe.
The male:female ratio is obvious Todd. Every women(bar Nee nee)that I saw was carrying a baby! No wonder ya lock mum in the car mate. 😂😂😂😂😂👌👍
Mate if I had known they were that short on women I would've made her get out of the car!! 😝👍
The men they ask you where are you going
Ahh ok. Thanks 👍
140,000 Villages!
7:19 Too danger house.
oh there is LocaL and aLso foreigner as usuaLLy.🤭🤭🤭🤭
I have a feeling that Your movie violatee intimacy of these people. Do you think to ask him their authorization before to show on youtube their intimity? RUclips give you money from a number of views, don't you feel guilty to benefit from this by his violation? But maybe that you donate something in exchange, at least I hope so.
You clicked on a thumbnail where I am clearly posing for a photo with Lao people....just after we asked if it's ok. That's why they were looking at the camera smiling. 😁
You dont speak Lao because if you did you would've heard my wife ask those men if it was ok to video them. It was.
We also brought money into the village by purchasing items that we wouldn't have if we never stopped to video. 🍍🥤
Did you see anybody upset by us videoing?
You know nothing of the Lao people and how they feel, or what goes on behind the scenes that doesn't make it to RUclips. You also know very little about how many views are required to make any significant type of money from a video. We spent more than this video will ever make.
I usually just ignore stupid comments such as this, but seeing as tho yours was so full of ignorance I thought it best to answer.
Thanks for watching 🙏
