Teen with Down Syndrome Bursts Into Tears When Boyfriend Asks Her to Homecoming

An adorable proposal caught on film shows a boy with Down syndrome asking his girlfriend to homecoming. In front of hundreds of students, Jake, 15, surprised Emily with a bundle of gold and black balloons and a large cookie cake. Friends cheered as Jake presented Emily with the dessert who eventually had to wipe away tears of joy. The two met a year ago at a school function and have been inseparable ever since.
