- We tried out our gifts of obligation psyops hack and it went very well! DoorDash wasn't red, so we had to opt for all Uber Eats deliveries, and we will continue to test the theory. However, you can't argue with the huge results, even on the small sample size. We just have to hope we continue to get an extra tip for every 10-25% of orders. Also, I hope the size of the extra tip continues to be substantial, like tonight.

I wanted to clarify the 160% number. We had a 25% increase in added tips, but the tip dollar amount went up 160%.
Another benefit which I didn't talk about, is that these customers are all instantly giving me five-star ratings. I have all five-star ratings on all of the apps, but they came in much more sporadically before this experiment.
This is good to know. Thank you for sharing. I used to get higher tips all the time.
I printed out the exact letter (except her name on the bottom) for my wife to hand out last night. She had around 25% of the customers add even more tip wise.

Any type of kindness is a great thing......in your car video u should look where camera is on cellphone..it will make it look like you are looking at us when u speak...

Yes, kindness goes a long way and really helps improve the outlook of the job you're doing. I printed my wife some of the letters and she left them last night with a few of her deliveries. I am going to provide an update soon.

I just did 8 brunch and lunch deliveries right now. I used pretty much the exact letter you did but I changed the candy to Andes chocolate mints. 3 out of the 8 orders added on tips and 2 were door dash adds and that rarely happens. This is a great idea but you need to try chocolate as I think people like it more and will tip more for chocolate.
Hey Mitch, very nice! I am glad you're getting such great results. I could do chocolate right now, but in Texas, it wouldn't work as the temps heat up. I do agree that it's a better choice, if it works in your climate.
Be very careful this can be misleading happened to me twice at a fast food both deliveries were 24.00$ each, but they were picked up already it may duplicate the amount, customer service will not compensate, it’s very rare to get such high trip amounts with tips. Tips can always change tip baiters are out there I’m glad I haven’t lost a lot of my tips maybe a 1$ here and there it’s still sad, you should be deserving of real quality tips. Also too driving farther higher tips is you’re discretion example a 6$ tip and 2$ fair for 3 miles, verses 14$ total for 14 miles, pick and choose not like Uber is giving gas cards out to compensate, also wear and tear.
Hi Corey, it's always disappointing when you get those monster orders and they have already been picked up. I have had some luck with the restaurants remaking the order for me.

I got a 2 star because of a stacked order. The customer who I was delivering to second probably track my route. So they saw me taking a nondirect route to there house. Obviously I was following what doordash sent me. So I dont worry too much about ratings. Mine is 4.89
I am sorry to hear that, David. Have you tried contacting DoorDash to see if they'll remove it since it was out of your control? They probably won't remove it, but it's worth a try.

I'm not a boots licker, there are too many bad people out there intentionally requesting to meet at door and letting u there, waiting 8 full minutes not mattering if it's snowing raining hot or cold... Some of them even specify not to pull on their drive way they are shit Im good with 250 a day I'm not a boots licker some of them deserve all the kindness in the world but on the other hand some of them are shit
Very true. On occasion, we all get deliveries to some horrible people as well.

@@starshine8169 some of them are assholes like 2 days ago I did wait the 8 minutes and the muttafucker I was delivering for reduced the tip... I should have just let that shit and marked as delivered
