My husband and I just started the domestic adoption process. The birth mom not wanting to give up her baby is something that I worry about going into domestic adopting. Thank you so much for sharing your journey! Your faith in God in all of this is really amazing.❤

I'm glad our story could help you in your journey. I think facing that fear is really important because it makes you ask yourself, "Am I doing this out of selfish motives just to get what I want, or do I really care about these women and their babies and want what's best for them?"

You don’t realize the lives you have touched & given to as you shared your journey. You are such an inspiration to me & probably countless others Your faith thru it all was a beautiful thing to see & is so true. Standing on His promises is such a wonderful place to be. Because ultimately He is in control. He know the beginning & the end so when you lean on Him & trust Him you can let go & let God. I pray He answers your prayer soon & you’ll be holding your little bundle of joy in your arms & praising HIM!!

I watched your video about 2 weeks before our placement was to take place. Like you, we'd had a great relationship with mom and thought all was well. We traveled from TX to GA and were there in time for baby's birth. We had several hours with him and her. She seemed resolved in her decision to place and then we awoke the next morning (a couple of days ago) to her changing her mind. I flashed to your story and knew that, in some ways God used you to prepare my heart for this possibility. I'm so sorry that things fell through for you all then and it's my hope that this last year God has redeemed the time and your hearts. Thank you for helping us thru with your testimony.

Wow, thank you for sharing that with me. That makes me emotional, knowing how God can use our pain for good. I'm sorry you are going through that as I know how hard it is, but just know that God's plan is so much greater than our own. Right now I'm holding our 5 month old little girl, and I never could have imagined or story turning out the way it did. Have hope and know you are not alone.

You both showed amazing faith and commitment and love. Your videos were real and raw. The fact that you allowed God to be your healer and not turn to anger or bitterness was incredible. I pray for you both and that God will bless you with a child.

@@CoachB1981 That's awesome! It's a tough process but can be so refining. I just read John 11:4 which is what Jesus says after he finds out that Lazarus is sick : “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” These hard journeys can be used to give glory to God which is our ultimate purpose.

@@RealLifeRen I believe that watching your video was preparing me for what happened to our family. We were told yesterday that the little girl were going to adopt from Korea that her mom has decided to come and get her and raise her. It is the weirdest feeling ever. Of joy for her and her mom and sadness and grief personally. I can only begin to appreciate your strength in what you went through. You video really showed me that Gods grace is evident even in a storm thank you.

@@CoachB1981 wow. Yes I know exactly how that feels. It's a strange place to be but I'm so honored to be a part of your story and help bring you to a place of surrender to God's plan. I took some time to really allow myself to feel the sadness and disappointment. It's ok to feel those things at the same time as feeling hope for the future and trusting God. Don't stuff the hard emotions cause they will come out some how some way. Praying for your family!

Well, life took quite an unexpected turn and after continuing to pursue adoption for 6 months after this, we found out very unexpectedly that we were pregnant. So, currently 7 months pregnant with a little baby girl. Not the path we thought we would end up on but we're thrilled none the less!

No video, but I can tell you what happened after this. We continued to pursue adoption for several months trying to match with another mom. Then God showed that he had different plans for us than we had for ourselves and I got pregnant. Our little girl is now 2 and a half!

Wow I’m sorry I’m not going to be like everyone else as I have known ppl that have given up for adoption and it was not easy for them to do so and u were so pushy with her up on her 24/7 u could not get a clue she did it want u there obviously and she wanted to be alone u are pushing her away further and further but in your head u had it the baby was already yours and u could not wrap your head around this I don’t blame tbis mother one bit I would also want a friend there not some stranger that is pushy who would want that during labor smh get over your self u have 4 kids of your own why do I have to adopt a child from the us? especially a infant when there is so many foster kids out there u could foster and adopt through even infants yes there may be a 6 mo too 2 year waiting to adopt but it’s a lot easier but I see u as I want I want I want I take I take I take what I want u are way to high strung and need to calm down daaaam I don’t blame that mother one but u pushed her away all on your own and there is other countries u can adopt from also are u predigest u have to have a American child only ? If I weren’t I guess u would be going though the foster care system to adopt or out of country smh leave these children for family’s that can not have kids they are not in need of parents there is to many waiting u can have children u have 4 of them already have another one if u want more if your not predigest then adopt out of country u can still get infants daaaaaam
