Hi Laura thanks for the recipe! A few bread recipes I’ve seen mention adding the yeast and salt separately and divided from eachother so the salt doesn’t kill the yeast. Does that not apply here?
James, I have to say that confuses me, too. Everyone that shows a bread tutorial does it differently and yet they all come out just fine. Maybe it only kills the yeast if the yeast isn't fresh.? Idk...

It’s because she used instant yeast. Otherwise, keep them separate and proof the yeast in the warm water.

After baking. When you thaw them you can splash them with some water and pop in the oven at 400F for a few minutes to crisp up.
