Great encouraging video Bonny! There are so many things that could be said but people are drawn to not just their work but the artist’s approachability. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. I appreciated that you mentioned pricing, that can be sticky. If one’s quality of work is overrated by the artist then of course they would not be doing themselves or others a favor. I like to get evaluated professionally by other artists and improve, it is a part of why we do what we do. Limitations can be physical. Some of us have an eyesight window of time but it can be worked with, jobs, and families etc. In my case I like not having to use RUclips 😂, you and others cover that very well but I enjoy listening to what works for others and it seems pretty much universal. Thank you again! I use the same Procolours and Pablos, that’s a hoot! I love the browns.😊It is a delight to get to know you. We are all a bit crazy.

Thank you Bonny! What a lovely, informative and empathetic video. I am not a trained artist, but have been thinking about starting a business with only my self-taught skills. Of course I am keen to improve, and you have Really encouraged me! Bless you, and I wish you great success in all you do.

Hi Bonny, I just finished watching this video and the most amazing thing that came out for me was watching your patience in action! Wow! I was mesmerised by the horse and all I wanted to do is rush to my pencils and paper and draw a horse… a long way to go for me, but I understood the mindfulness of this kind of drawing and I’m afraid I’m already hooked. I have been drawing animals since September and will keep watching more videos and posting on FB.
Very informative, thanks so much 😊🙃😊

Hello Bonny. Thank you for this video and your continued encouragement. You have inspired me to start using colored pencils and I love it! I have been a Patreon member and have watched tons of your videos. You have amazing information, however the one thing I've never heard you talk about was how you set up to receive payments on comissions, etc. What forms of payment do you accept? Paypal, credit cards, Venmo? Which ones do you feel are not worth setting up? I've had many people asking me about commission work and buying my art, but not sure how to start receiving payments.

Bonny thank you. Please can you tell me where to find your complete colored pencil course? I looked at your Patreon and see it’s not where you are currently. I’ve gotten several (beautiful) sets of pencils and have been following tutorials-but am kind of stuck and have realized I need instruction. Again, thank you!

I just started getting into art when the company I work for decided to close the department I was in. I went into such a deep depression as not only do I support my own family with my salary but also my parents, who are divorced. My depression is so deep I cannot even pick up a pencil.

I will be praying for you! Keep your head up :) You are never alone, Jesus is always here for us. Run to Him and be comforted! Little by little, we’re gonna make it. Somos peregrinos caminamos al Señor; poco a poco, vamos al llegar.

At the bottom of the video, you should be able to select subtitles and then in the settings change them to Spanish 🥰

I was a member on Patreon for a little while, but my leaving had nothing to do with the artist or content, so you really can't take these things personally. Peoples' situations change.

I never take people leaving personally I totally understand that things change. The culture in Patreon however is join and leave and take the content if you can - not for everyone but for many and it’s the reason I moved to my own platform 🥰

I really like your art work and tutorials ,but some time ago I went off watching them because of the amount of word fillers you use in your narrations, aaah, like err, uum, eeerm . In the first 3 minutes of this video I counted 30 . Over 52 minutes this might have added up to be hundreds. Your narration would sound more polished and confident by leaving a gap in your thoughts . I am a subscriber to Jason Morgan who speaks fluently and without word fillers. I love your artwork and professionalism but am not subscribed to your channel. You deserve all the glowing comments you get and I would subscribe if the word fillers were not in your videos. Your artwork needs no improvement as it is perfect.😾
