I just bought bananas at the grocery store a few hours ago...I'm never going to be able to eat them now! LOL :)
The items you used were incredibly brilliant. I do special effects, and mostly stick with basic stuff, but now watching this, I think I will try to broaden what I use. Great tutorial!
Really loving this tutorial, creative with the banana, but i don't think its good to wear to a party just because the banana don't have anything to stick to, (and it would be hard to stick it down really) and when you sweat and get warm it will fall of and just look really messy (and not in the good way) but for photographs this would be really awesome and i will try it some day!
WikmanMakeup You can always splash a coat fo latex over it and it would sty in place.
Also the Banana would probably end up smelling a bit towards the end of the night - but it's a creative idea.
WikmanMakeup or mix banana with vaseline. It sticks and looks more realistic!

instead of using a mushed banana, could you use a gelatin mixture with flour added in order to make it a solid color and add that in?

+Priscilla Hernandez i just tried. mine looked so crap. i need to get better matching makeup, should have left more time to dry and should have torn the tissue so better so the sides touching the arm were not so straight and should have latex past the tissue
