I switched from android to iOS for the first time ever. I just couldn’t pass up a brand new iPhone SE gen3 for a 150 bucks. And from what I understand apple will back it until 2029 I felt like it was time. A week into it I couldn’t be happier!

@@06howea1 I would do the exact same thing if I were to get a phone for employees, seniors, children or even a backup. I feel like Apple should keep this design for all of those reasons. It’s quite fitting and very simple to just get the job done. There’s no way I would be out shopping for any other iPhone to suite any of those needs. It definitely has a place in the market.
That’s the reason I’m using IPhone SE3, as a secondary phone my first iPhone 📱 compact n have what every latest iPhone offer or has.. no regrets buying n using since last year march 2023

The older design iPhones to me feel more smooth and have less issues than the Face ID models. They were more indestructible and the battery health stays higher for longer on the classic iPhones.

Nick, this was a great video. No body else has thought of that. You have shown that SE3 is still good. Speed may be couple of seconds slower but overall worth the cost. If Apple was to sell this SE for $200 it’d defo sell like hot cakes. It’s a capable device but at this point its sole purpose is to upsell you the more expensive models.
I completely stopped using my iPhone 14 Pro Max because the oled screen was significantly straining my eyes. It's just sitting in one of my drawers now and I never use it. After spending a bunch of money on my 14 Pro Max, I ended up buying the SE 3 directly from Apple because the oled screen bothered me that much. I hope there's still an iPhone with an lcd option in the future or they figure out the pwm issue, I don't care how much it costs. As much as Apple says they care about health, they should have an option for people who are bothered by oled. Thanks for the video Nick!
Your reasoning is valid as it’s for medical purposes but ideally the SE is not an ideal option because the screen is too small and it’s design is extremely outdated but you’re right, Apple needs to have an option for people with sensitive eyes like yours.

I’m hoping they don’t throw in the a17 pro in the se 4 like they did with the mini iPad. A18 is better with heat and battery life and i heard the a17 pro they put in was disabled a little than the a17 pro in the 15 pro

Apple desperately needs to do an updated version of Touch ID to go alongside Face ID. Android has offered both face unlock and fingerprint unlock for many years. It'd be super convenient for Apple to place Touch ID on the power button.
You know why it's slow ? Because of iOS 18, I went to my local Apple Store to compare my SE3 under 17.7 against the one in store under 18.0.1 and mine was faster at loading apps...

I understand that someone could take my finger and unlock my phone so what I do is I attempt to power it off press cancel and then it says your passcode is required to enable touch ID Apple implemented this behavior for security purposes that way if somebody tries to unlock my phone with my fingerprint, they won’t be able to do it even if it is the right finger
Someone picking your finger to unlock your phone is a bit difficult cuz you could feel it, than someone easily picking up the phone and showing it to your face. So wtf you saying? 😏

I find it crazy how the SE 3 outlived the iPhone 13 being sold brand new by Apple.
Enterprise customers buy it because of Touch ID. It’s tried and tested reliability and it’s light and cheaper
