Hey Olli, the Jump is a SuperYacht, not a Cruise Ship. It's made for private ownership, hence the massive captains quarters. A cruise ship would have a lot more living quarters to maximize profits. Don't forget it's very well armed. Star Citizen doesn't really map to real-life. You can PVP in the Jump. It's the tankiest ship in the game right now. It's basically a Bond supervillian superyacht. Try it out. Cheers.

Olli, the 890 Jump doesn't serve ANY particular purpose. Even when Multi-crew, and all it's various functions become a thing, the 890 will STILL have no real purpose other than being what it is......namely a vanity ship,.

so what this really was, was just us doing missions to offset the cost of us mucking about in the 890. probably spent double the mission profits in hydrogen alone XD
I did this with Missgabiz - get a friend to load a C2 with two ballistas and drop them off on the raised hangar. then you can lower them/raise them and have gunners with massive missiles. centurions/nova tanks work too but they can shoot inside the shield unless they are pointing straight up. ballista missiles phase through the shield no issue. It packs a wallop in space lol

At the outposts you can empty loot boxes into Local Inventory the back on your ship transfer outpost local items to Ship inventory. And all the buildings have loot boxes I raid on box missions. Most times I sell the loot for more than the mission paid. Some jackets sell for 2k and have put together entire armor suit with backpacks by Aril. And a Tip when taking out the 890J always set med bed just in case.
If you switch to local inventory at delivery outposts/locations u can put red box loot there then go back to your ship then store it on your ship from the local inventory just an FYI olli love the content bro.
4:00 Reminds me of my plan to buy a carrack and when 4.0 comes out imma fly to pyro with a little exploration crew, park my carrack in orbit with a few people staying onboard, in orbit, watching the pyro's dangerous solar flares and notifying the crew on the surface of said solar flares (and also looking out for pirates and defending the ship, obviously) The other crew which lands on the planets surfaces or points of interests then take screenshots of the various types of biological features and maybe animals if theyre implemented at that time. They then fly back up again and head to the next planet. Its gonna be the "Pyro research expedition" :D Well, im gonna wait first till 4.0 comes out and then and only THEN i will start mining that quantanium and getting myself the carrack because everyone gets wiped in 4.0 anyway so it wouldnt make sense grinding for it now if im gonna loose it anyway D:
Question for you Olli or anyone else really. Currently running a cheap hotas and no tracking. Eventually i'll get a hosas and tobii setup. I know you can't "speak" to certain tracking devices lol, but which should i go for first? A hosas setup or head tracking (tobii for me)?
During Invictus I used a free-rental Caterpillar to do a quantum sensitive box mission. It was fun low flying that big ship. That said, the 890J is named the Jolly Olli. What are you going to name the Javelin?
In Space Engineers you can do tiny hauling or escort missions in your self-built realistic size(1.5km) Battlestar Galactica ;) But SC is also quite impressive.

See, this is why I like my carrack. Sure it’s a bit smaller, but the pilot seat on the bow is so nice. 600i as well is fantastic to fly for a big girl.
You don't want to take a sharp turn and overtax the grav-system, causing a guest to spill their martini. ;-) I don't know how to classify that landing, it looks like the ship is straddling the pad? I had suggested (game ideas) that some of the plants decorating the various cities and stations are dormant and will wake up, hungry (they wont move, but will grab)..
I would like to see how you can make out in a 890 jump, having a food store or a clothing store. Imagine going around the universe to deliver people some space drip. Also I have no idea how you made it this far without scrolling up your mouse wheel, while your in your ships.
Touring pyro will have an issue with fuel and security. If you have enough people supporting you it could be done. The way they want to do creatures is truly horrifying. One of them is a panther they want to clutch to trees etc and jump on you, crabs that pretend to be rocks, small spiders in caves etc that swarm. Exploration and rescues are gonna be scary.
You should try to get as many people as you can on that 890j and just do a ship ride from Orison to NewBabbage while having food served on the ship etc

When looting at pick up locations just move it loot into "local" then when you get back on the ship, move from Local to Ship inventory.

Yeah, you can make some pretty good cash looting boxes while doing deliveries, or trading. Make sure to check all the buildings.

they really need to work on like parking cameras because 3rd person view is cool but unrealistic in game

I had an 890 in 17.1, for 2 days, but haven't been able to make the green to get one this patch yet. Love seeing yours.
If you had a small transport on your jump then hovered next to the platform, so you just shuttle back and forth for the delivery

Why does it my ship crash when I land too close to a building or two close to other person ship with my shield is off
I do so many box run missions and I've found boxes packed full up guns and ammo. It's a nice peaceful way to loot up good gear

In those outposts you can transfer loot to local and then directly onto your ship when you get on board. Rather than filling up your person inventory.

You can wear hats with spacesuit. Try right-click > equip if you don't get highlights when trying to wear something.
I use my 600i for delivery missions. It's my daily driver, after all. I hope they do eventually add pad size info to rooftop missions.
