I agree with you on many points. Understanding what you’re actually there for will give you better clues as to which tower to stay in. Pool = Octavious or Palace, closeness to the entrance/lobby = Augustus. Gaming or Bacchanal Buffet =Julius & Shopping = Forum. For us the center strip local is the best part because you can easily walk to Bellagio, Linq Promenade, Venetian, Mirage without breaking a sweat. But those Resort Fee’s are BS for any of the hotels!!
I have not stayed at a CE property since before Covid. New owners have cut and cut to the point where I have much better offers from MGM and others. It’s sad because CP was my home for years.
100% agree. The rude staff, the never working kiosk check-in process, poorly maintained rooms and non existent house cleaning. These are all issues they have not bounced back from since covid. We gave them a total of 5 tries both during and post covid.
The forum shops area for shopping and dining is great but that’s where it ends for me. I haven’t stayed at Caesars Palace since the 90s for that very reason. Have you ever stayed at the Delano? That’s where we normally stay. Great video and looking forward to the walk-through and restaurant reviews
Hey peeps ! While I do like Caesars Palace I agree the property seems a bit disjointed due to all the add ons over the years . At least they do keep things fresh and clean etc. That check in line always has about 12 million people on it so the prices are definitely not stopping the bookings . I’m Diamond level and rarely get comp nights so haven’t stayed in several years. I do always stop in for a cocktail or a walk around when in town. For me personally I prefer to stay at Aria or Bellagio especially as my suites are always comped . Great review and spot on with your assessment 😎😎😎
LOL - We were just at Paris last week (1st time to Vegas and we did love our hotel, older but worth the price we paid). You made me laugh, as we as well talked to IT as our WIFI was not turned on and the whole time walking through Ceasar's hotels we always had troubles connecting to their WIFI. Ceasar's Palace is one of the hotels we just did not get to to walk through (actually lots we missed as 2 flights cancelled and we lost over a day in Vegas), so it was nice to catch this video. We did tour a handful and did many other attractions in the 4 night there. So much fun for my daughters (F21) birthday! Thanks!
Nailed it! I’ll add we were there last month and the pool was extremely disappointing. Not all of them were open. And as you mentioned, the wifi was a joke. As were reservations at Bacchanal. 1.5 hour wait, please! It is Caesars but there are better values on the strip.
When you are sitting by the pool at Caesars Palace you feel like you are in Ancient Rome, great pool experience. I prefer the vibe at Caesars Palace, less stuffy than the Wynn and Encore, everyone seems to be having a good time and people are more friendly. Caesars Palace is definitely the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night, great energy there, that’s where it’s happening. Once you have been there a couple of times you learn the layout and it is easy to get around, no more walking than lets say the Wynn Encore. There is good value to be had at Caesars Palace, the Americano Cafe serves a great breakfast, and Gordon Ramseys Pub and Grill has some great dinner options for a good price. The rooms can be a good value also, on almost every trip they have given me a free upgrade, I book the standard room, but at check in I am given a premium room for no charge and I am a low roller. The rooms are not as perfect as the Wynn, but I prefer a good time, and friendly people. The overall experience is more important to me.
The vibe at Caesars is great, so long as you’re good with huge crowds. As for value? We’ll just have to agree to disagree. The rooms are mostly outdated and grossly overpriced compared to what you can get elsewhere. Thanks for watching!
Great video! I also haven't stayed at CP yet because of the prices. It would need to be a great offer for me to jump on it. There are a few hacks I've learned which make my stays better when properties don't have fridges or coffee makers... I always pack a travel coffee maker (the one I have weighs less than half a lb) and it's saved sooo much money each trip. I also have a collapsible flat-pack structured cooler which effectively replaces the fridge. Just add ice. I've used both for at least a few years and it's been worth it to make room in my suitcase 🥳
When it comes to Caesars Palace in my view, I have to say that the food options are excellent especially in the Forum Shops. When it comes to the rooms, they are nothing to write home about but are clean. The casino floor is one giant maze which makes it frustrating to find the game you want to play. I totally agree with Jordan about the WiFi policy which is absolutely ridiculous as most Vegas properties outside of the Caesars portfolio either have free WiFi or have it at least included in the resort fee without any limits on the amount of devices that can be used.
I’ve stopped all gaming at CET properties. As a “Diamond Plus for several years, even with a “host”, I could never get a Saturday night “comped”, and many Friday nights. Tough casino to win at slots. “Absinthe” was NOT worth the price! I paid a little more than you mentioned for front row. Too short of a performance and too “generic”. Did you smell the foul order in the room hallways from the “grease” traps that are overflowing without having been cleaned? You’re also correct that I’ve had to call the “Help” desk “off shore” to have the room router “ports” turned on. Why pay a “Resort Fee”. My advice, avoid ALL Caesars Entertainment Properties!
I was also disappointed with Absinthe. Got my ticket through Ticketmaster; with fees, tax, etc., the cost was $173 in the "nosebleed" section. I won't do a repeat.
We saw Absinth several years ago and enjoyed it, but back then our tickets were more like $100 each. We would pay that again, but we won’t pay $189 each. Thanks as always for watching!
We like the Augustus tower for the views of the fountain and the size of the room. If we can get a comp room Caesars is great but if we are paying full price we much prefer Encore. Great video guys and thanks for posting.
Love the video and I can’t wait to see how you do the full walkthrough. I have been in there quite a few times and my thoughts are like yours. That it is just massive. You might want to make sure your battery is fully charged 😂🤣😂
A few notes. I could book an Augustus Tower room (my preferred tower) in 2023 for only 23.00 on many Sun- Thurs. It is currently around 3X that at least. The BACCHANAL Buffet may be offer the most choices but it enforces a strict 90 minute time limit and when crowded you will find you spend half your time waiting for something. And finally You WON'T get a "good meal" at Mr Chow. Check Reviews "Skinny not succulent bony ducks" "wait staff at best 'uninterested" in helping at worst actually scoffs, almost makes fun of customers if they don't order their 'suggestions". If my duck isn't succuent I don;t want it lol.
Thanks for this video! (BTW, im a long-time viewer and first-time commenter.) IMHO, this is a very fair and honest review. Caesars Palace absolutely has a lot going for it, including its all-star restaurant lineup, its iconic entertainment venues, its gorgeous pool complex, and its "center of it all" Center Strip location. OTOH, the base-level rooms hardly feel luxurious at all, and I'm not too surprised that even your Augustus studio suite was a bit underwhelming. We've already seen what's possible with a full renovation at the current Nobu tower, so I can only hope Caesars eventually renovates the other towers so the hotel side of the resort finally matches the "luxe life" reputation of everything else on property.
Thanks for the great info here. I have been to Caesars to visit a few times, but never stayed (first time was mid-90's and it sure has changed). Too bad it wasn't worth the price of the room. I agree that Caesars is pieced together and makes the MGM look good as far as layout. Great videos!
There is something electric about Caesars Palace, you can be Rich you can be poor ,the atmosphere doesn't discriminate like it sometimes feels like at the wynn . I think when it comes to Caesars people just want to party it up and have a good time! I lost my bra many of times at some wild hotel parties!
I stay at Caesars palace every trip. It's a classic and one of the best properties in Vegas. Augustus tower is where you want to stay but in a suite. Weekdays are cheaper if you pay for rooms but I fortunately get everything comped. You mention is has no continuity in the casino. It absolutely does you just need to familiarize yourself with the layout and property. It takes a week to get to know your way around the place. I can speak about the pools, they are DYNAMITE and most of all clean as can be. Dining there is 5 stars for the most part, endless options from cheaper food court to the steak houses. The buffet is one of the best on the planet. Location of Caesars is once again the best, center of strip. Most of the people that complain about Caesars either cant afford it, or the place is just overwhelming to them.
@@mentorwindow1739 or they CAN afford it and they know the accommodations are going to be much nicer at any other price-comparable hotel. We’re sticking with our assessment that Caesars is massively overrated, and overpriced, but we don’t all have to agree. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great video guys. I totally agree with you in regards to Caesars Palace. I have been a Caesars Total Rewards Diamond Plus member for years, and have stayed there 2 prior times in years past, but will never stay there again, even with comped rooms. The property is just way too big, and it just takes forever to get from your room to the Strip. It's fine to just visit there and walk around the Forum Shops, but to actually stay there? Never again. Having to constantly walk 15 to 20 minutes just to get to your room from the outside? No thanks!!
I have never stayed at Caesar’s palace but I have eaten at Amalfi and watched Sting concert at the Colosseum. Also had late night drinks at Vanderpump. I do prefer personal refrigerator in the room for my medications. Great video.
Thanks for the info. I too have been to Vegas probably over 30 times and have never stayed at Ceasars and was curious about the property. Great info Thanks!
I have many times at Caesars Palace, and after taking a break to try other properties, it was back to CP because other properties were showing major wear and tear, where they pump money into CP, so i feel it's worth it. It took me a few stays to figure it out, but now its no more difficult to get around than most properties. Their casino went downhill several yeats ago, but the past two years, they have made it my favorite Caesars casino on the strip. A couple of restaurants at a more consumer-friendly price point would be ideal. Overall, I enjoy my stays there, and I am looking forward to my next stay next month.
Nice video Ashden and Jordan! Wow, a lot has changed at Caesars since the look that was present during the Rain Man blackjack scene with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. That was the time I used to frequent Caesars Palace and even the pit bosses knew your name and your favorite cocktail selection. I guess those days are gone forever. Looking forward to your complete walk through video! Thanks for all the hard work and keeping us informed. Looks like Caesars will remain a memory for me and not a reality any time soon.
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION, I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. SO FUNNY ADDING IN THE MOVIE SCENES 🤣🤣🤣. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT JOB, I ENJOYED WATCHING 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😄👍🏼🤣🤣🤣
Great review as always, guys! We agree with the assessment of Caesars at the end. It's seems to be living on it's reputation alone. We've tried different CET properties and are just not fans. Good to hear about dink service, we haven't had the same experience and the casino always kicks our butt. Lol! We also love Absinthe and need to get back to see it. The Green Fairy Garden is on our list to try! Thanks again, guys! Really enjoy your reviews!
For those prices, I'd much rather stay at the Wynn. Although I have to admit I'm one of those people who never really understood the appeal of Caesar's compared to some of the newer options.
I've never stayed at Caesars but have been there several times. Your video and assessments have given me even more reason to just visit the casino and see the place but not spend my money on a room there.
100% agree with your assessment of Caesars. Excellent place to visit, however not the best to stay due to the sheer size and lack of value. My wife and I stayed there once and liked it - but wasn't in love with it. The pool scene was definitely memorable though! One of the few properties you can play blackjack in the pool. We lost $100 in 3 hands but it was all for the experience.
You noticed the same thing that I have. Caesars Palace has been renovated so many times over the decades, there is no longer any sense to the layout of the place.
I stayed in an Octavius room in 2012. Pool view--nice. Diamond status helps (no "extort" fee). Yeah, getting around in Caesars is a hike, but the stay is exhilarating.
Great content! For me Caesers is absolutely iconic and for us it has everything we need (poker, partying, good food, central location) but the price point is way too high compared to high end hotels like Venetian and Wynn which are not much more in $$$ but offer more in terms of luxury. Even Cosmopolitan at a similar price point offers more in terms of luxury and party options.
Agree totally with the casino, and was even more disappointing when they took out tons of tables near the mall entrance. Mostly a giant slots setup now. Bellagio has more table options in a much more compact area. I do love the Colosseum though.
@3:15 - 100% agree on the beds at Caesars Palace. Even though our room was "meh" when we stayed there in December, we had some of the best nights of sleep we've ever had in Las Vegas.
4:15 - Our Caesars Palace room also didn't have a fridge, and it's the only Caesars property I've ever stayed at that DIDN'T have a fridge. Side note: I also thought the device charger on the side table was a nice added touch...my room at the Horseshoe had one and it was super-handy. Also, you couldn't pay me enough to use a hotel room coffee maker...I've seen enough "horror videos" on social media to know what happens to them 😄
It was apparent the coffee maker had been cleaned, so we were cool with it. We’ve found no fridge at Harrah’s, Paris-Versailles Tower, and now Caesars. They might just be phasing them out…
Great recap of a formerly iconic resort. The best way to experience Caesars Palace these days is a simple 2 - 3 hour visit to see the fountains and Lobby, maybe fit in a meal. I stayed in the Augustus Tower once: it was a nice, larger room with the bathroom being the best feature. However, a similar room at Venetian/Palazzo or Cosmopolitan is both better and cheaper. Heck, the Soho Premiere rooms at NY-NY at one-third the cost are just as large and have a free refrigerator. I don’t even think the location is iconic anymore: I prefer the areas from NY-NY/MGM Grand to Bellagio/Paris for less expensive vacations and from Venetian to Encore for a luxury resort stay. In between those two locations, stretching from Caesars/Cromwell to Harrahs/Mirage, I only go there for concerts or if the volcano show is running. Caesars Palace has a great pool area and offers excellent concerts. I’m sure the restaurants are nice as well. Sadly, the cost and many negatives features outweigh the positives.
We stayed on a comp pre-Covid and were upgraded to an Octavious King overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Best Comp room we've ever had but I'll never pay that kind of money for it.. Although walking from there to the Forum Shops one can certainly see how the various building expansions were stapled together.
First trip with my wife to Vegas we stayed at Caesars Palace and liked it however since then we've stayed at all MGM properties due to the much better comps and considerations.
Awesome video! It’s funny, Caesars is the only “big” casino on the strip we really avoid. Don’t like the layout, no value and crowded. That said their sportsbook is great and they have nice restaurants.
The wifi policy is stupid. However, I always bring a small travel router/repeater that circumvents that type of policy by creating my own, secure network connected (as one device) to the hotel wifi.
Their upgraded entrances look nice but I’d only stay here if I’m comped. Otherwise I’d just visit and maybe give ‘em some play. Their sportsbook is small and their table games limits are insanely high
Joe's is one of our favorites, and a Must everytime were in town. Fantastic service, and food. They used to have really good lunch specials, but dont they still exist post covid.
I would never stay at CP. My wife and her brother stayed there one night. They were met with terrible customer service at the registration desk upon checkout. Overcharged from what they were quoted. (not talking about resort fees). Also were charged for mini bar items which they didn't take. "Well, you can't prove you didn't take them" was the response from CP. Really? Aweful!!!!! One positive I will say about CP is their security staff. Very professional and helpful. Casino minimums for table games are too high for me.
We stayed at Flamingo in Aug and Caesars in Oct and preferred Flamingo. I’ve always wanted to stay at Cesar’s. Bad customer service, room in Julius tower was outdated and broken down and nothing worked. We had a view of a boiler room. Didn’t leave happy.
Whenever I plan a trip I price Caesars but it's always crazy high, plus it seems so overwhelmingly huge. This video just cemented my opinion. I liked Paris hotel for it's location, price, and general vibe.
I hope to stay here one day, since I have a goal to stay at every property on the strip at least once. That said, this place is massive and would be difficult for someone like my wife, who can’t do a lot of walking. What tower would you recommend for a first-timer here, or someone who can’t do a marathon? The Julius rooms seem to be the most affordable, but I have no idea how they would compare to the other towers. I’ve also heard Hell’s Kitchen is overrated, like most of Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants in Vegas.
The Julius and Colosseum towers have the easiest access to the casino. The Colosseum tower is also the closest to the rideshare pickup and drop off. We actually ate at Hell’s Kitchen, so keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming video! Thanks for watching!
As we were watching this one (because admittedly we also released a Caesars Palace review video two weeks ago for our channel and I was curious as to your thoughts on Caesars Palace), I cannot agree more with you on your thoughts about Caesars Palace. It’s nice to hear that I was not alone in how I felt about it. While my husband loved the stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat, I felt very similar to a lot of the cons you mentioned and I would be more favored to choose other Caesars properties (unless I can ever score a decent price on the Nobu hotel) On our stay we had the smaller version of the room you both had in the Augustus tower (The Augustus Premium King) but had we not gotten that room at such a steal ($90/night with no resort fee for Diamond and because it was right before Christmas), the regular price is definitely much higher than we would ever want to pay for that room. For me… it was a fun experience and I am glad to have checked it off the bucket list. But just wanted to share my thoughts and say that I agree with your impressions mentioned in the video. -Paul
I stayed at Caesars recently and the walk to my room was about 15 minutes!! I know this sounds 'petty' but I was shocked that they have a coffeemaker in the room but NO coffee!! I was all ready to make coffee the first morning and noticed NO K-cups! I asked the front desk if they could bring some up and they said they are "extra" and its $24 to buy them. OMG, even a Motel-6 gives you coffee...... I was shocked at how petty that was, since I spent a lot of money in their casino for 5 days. Plus their staff was rude to us several times. I could go on and on, but lets just say I will never go back!
Great video. I have visited Caesars, but not that often, mainly because it’s just so big! I would never stay there, especially considering that you’re not actually in the room that much. The room, well the one you showed, doesn’t really look that appealing! As far as food, I am more of a cheap eats kinda of person. Pizza and a salad and I am good. This was a great video…Thank you. Is your girl left handed?
I got 2 free nights at Caesars and really enjoyed the place but I would under no circumstance pay $500 a night to stay there. I think you nailed it when you talk about there being no value. The place is also a maze which is kind of fun tbh. I guess it just depends how high and drunk you are tho. lol
I used to love staying at CP, however, I am turned off by the bad attitude of a few employees and a casino host at the property, the property is huge. I might go there back one day.
Same as U Jordan comin Vegas for 20 years never stayed there but I saw 3 free nites on my ACC so said why not try it a Julius tower room I'd never pay to stay there I almost didn't book the room cos have pay resort fee but said why not try it once so Il get stay there later in year
Caesars was the first property I ever stayed at, but after the The Hangover it changes. It became so expensive (bad value is right) & to much of a party property for the price. Haven't stayed there since 2014
I would agree!! Customer service from CP has totally changed for the worse...I'd say the last two times I've stayed ...below 5/10 for customer service. They don't seem to care if you stay there or not.
I disagree. First time visitors should stay at Caesars bed cause it has all those wonderful things you have mentioned. It is so Vegas. I've tried a dozen or more hotels and almost always go back for at least a couple days. Augustus Tower is my favorite. I missed the part where you showed the view. (Exception the rooms like yours that are in the back end face mountains and the Bellagio) My one criticism is the lack of good breakfast choices. It's nice to eat outside on the steps in nice weather, but the line gets long at the one place and it isn't big enough for the property. Thanks much. You did a good job!
It's not really the "it" property, it's just the best Caesars property because of the pools. Those properties are above The Strat and Circus Circus, but below MGM's offerings as a collection of resorts; and well below The Wynn, Fontainebleau, and Resorts World. Caesars are really betting that the guy will want dinner at Ramsey's, and the girl will want to see Adele; but I'd be bored in five minutes ... even with all that activity space. I always like to see what I'm not missing. I still say stay at the Sahara, dinner at Excalibur, do all the thrill rides, and hit Brewdog ... those are my bucket list items.
I've never liked Caesars that much. I'll stick with the Cosmo even though it's MGM now (barf). I did check out Fountain Bleau and I'd stay there if we ever get free rooms.
We’ll have to agree to (strongly) disagree on it being worth the money. Probably the worst value on the strip, considering the rooms are 3 star quality for a 5 star price. Thanks for watching!
Stayed at the Augustus Tower several times over the years. Always had a room with view of the Bellagio Fountains. Very beautiful rooms. Watched many shows at the Coliseum. Some of the best Rod Stewart and Celine. Don't go to Vegas anymore because of all the changes. Used to go at least 6 times a year from the Southeast of the country. We don't like what Vegas has become. Too many shady characters. Just don't feel safe anymore.
Confusing property, sounds and feels like your first time navigating an international airport. Some gaming areas have weird low ceilings as if it was an afterthought for a hallway. Finding the way from the forum shops to the casino always felt like you got lucky finding your way, signs around the spiral escalators in the shops are worthless. More property map signs would be amazing. The cocktail waitresses are told to only serve people who have been on machines for at least 20 minutes. My cocktail waitress verified I had money in the machine and just ruined the vibe as if I was in some stingy brusque strip mall illegal gaming room. Bacchanal had the most flavorless lobster claws I've ever had somehow. Ansel cronuts were disappointing and they charged me $2 for a cup of tap water. Wynn buffet is significantly better and also had amazing cronuts last time I was there. Wynn gaming floor is easy to navigate because you're on an arc shape.
We werde staying at the Cesar Palace but it was the worst Experience of my life. It Hase 4stars but the employers are so ungentle and the minibar has Sensors so you have to pay attento uaing it because they charge you wothout your permission.
Only place I stay at, amazing pool, restaurants, casino, the place is just an amazing property and so well run. You complain about not knowing the casino floor well it's a small city. It takes a few times staying there to get to know the property. I know it blindfolded by now. Ashame you didn't get to experience the pools. Also you can simply request an empty fridge for $30 a night which is well worth it. Complaining about the prices there is silly, I get fully comped but the rooms are still a good deal especially on weekdays. It's Vegas man, it's getting expensive more and more as time goes on.
Sure Vegas is getting more expensive, but that doesn’t change the fact that Caesars Palace is a poor value compared to its competitors. For the same price or less you can get a FAR nicer room at Bellagio, Venetian/Palazzo, Cosmopolitan, even Wynn or Encore… We’ll have to agree to disagree about most of this, especially the part about being well run. CET overall is a management disaster. Thanks for watching!
@@ShowMeVegas I guess I can only go my my experience. I don't have to do a thing every trip, everything is taken care of , limo, suites, meals, flight the whole deal. We disagree on Cosmo too that place sucks talk about overhyped. Let's sit on a balcony while in Vegas! What? No thanks.
Caesars Palace minibar scam: My sister recently made the mistake of spending two nights at Caesars Palace. While going through the “Self check out” process she found that the hotel had added $135 in minibar charges for items she never touched. And of course the customer service check out line was an hour long and flight time soon, so no time to argue. Just a damn scam!
That would be fixed with a phone call, and if not I would dispute it with my credit card company. This is not a common occurrence and usually happens when somebody accidentally moves things or stores their own items in the fridge. Either way, they’ll fix it if no items were actually consumed.
@@ShowMeVegas They will fix it? Why should they? My point is that the entire process is a scam. In the time my sister left the room until check she was at the self serve checkout there was not time for anyone to have actually inventoried anything. The system just made up the charges.
@@dalecs47 the system uses sensors in the refrigerator that knows when items have been taken out, moved, or that other items have been stored within. They don't "make up" charges, but there can be glitches. Most commonly it is because people think they can use the fridge to store their own leftovers or drinks (which is not allowed) and the movement triggers automatic charges. Why would they fix it? Because despite your belief they're not in business to scam people, they make plenty of money participating in normal legal business practices. If you choose to just accept the charges and not contest it, that's on you. It's no different than a waitress accidentally charging you for an extra drink at dinner. Simply explain that you didn't use the mini bar and they'll remove the charges unless they can prove that you did. We've very easily and successfully had erroneous charges removed before.
@@ShowMeVegas I have to disagree, it is a scam. When I pay good money to rent a room I should not have to be responsible for a mini bar that I do not want to use and the idea that just moving something in the room or using the refrigerator that is provided in the room costs me hundreds of dollars is just a scam. These hotels should either be in the business of renting rooms, or operating Quicky Marts. They certainly should not be doing both things in the same room and scamming their customers. This is just bad business. No one likes it. I can see is great promotional opportunity for some of the hotels if they advertise their rooms are guaranteed to have "No scam mini bar charges." As a customer I would certainly choose to stay in a place where I am not having to fear being scammed.
@@dalecs47alright then. You can complain about it all you’d like, but it isn’t a big deal to those of us who understand how it works and what to do if you do accidentally get charged. This “scam” hasn’t ever cost us a dime and never will. Probably because it isn’t a scam…
I thoroughly ENJOY "stock" Vegas background video music. Really gets the juices flowing for me personally who cant getaway very often cause of work. So it Really helps capture that Vegas magic for me personally. 🎰
Yeah I actually think Paris & Planet Hollywood are better value for dollar than Caesars. Have never stayed at Flamingo or Cromwell, so can’t really comment on them yet. To me, Caesars is only worth it during swimming pool season
I have ever have had any interest in staying at any Cesars properties, for all the issues you notated, that and their poor customer service. Way better options on the strip for that price point, with better service and less chaos.
CET is definitely the most poorly managed of the Vegas casino operators! Thanks for watching!
They're garbage. Nice call.
Eldorado Resorts took over Caesars Entertainment and tries to run their Vegas hotels like their cheap ass meth head hotels that they own in Reno.
100% agree. The rude staff, the never working kiosk check-in process, poorly maintained rooms and non existent house cleaning. These are all issues they have not bounced back from since covid. We gave them a total of 5 tries both during and post covid.
Yeah, for expensive and overwhelming, I will go to the Venetian.
The forum shops area for shopping and dining is great but that’s where it ends for me. I haven’t stayed at Caesars Palace since the 90s for that very reason. Have you ever stayed at the Delano? That’s where we normally stay. Great video and looking forward to the walk-through and restaurant reviews
We’ve stayed at Delano and have a video about it on the channel! Thanks for watching!
Thanks as always!
We bailed on Caesars Rewards.
Loved the funny edits 🤣 never stayed at CP but was always curious about it. Wonderful review !
Thanks as always for watching!
Can you give more info about your cooler? I have a small, soft cooler I hoped to pack, but yours sounds better.
Augustus Tower high up with fountain view is my favorite!
Easy access to room from check-in. Close walk to middle of everything. 🤩🤩🤩
A close walk to the strip, but definitely not to the heart of Caesars Palace. Thanks for watching!
@@ShowMeVegas which is exactly why I love that tower ❤️
When it comes to Caesars Palace in my view, I have to say that the food options are excellent especially in the Forum Shops. When it comes to the rooms, they are nothing to write home about but are clean. The casino floor is one giant maze which makes it frustrating to find the game you want to play. I totally agree with Jordan about the WiFi policy which is absolutely ridiculous as most Vegas properties outside of the Caesars portfolio either have free WiFi or have it at least included in the resort fee without any limits on the amount of devices that can be used.
MGM wifi is just as terrible. Have to log in multiple times a day
Great video. I have never stayed at Caesars. Been to Vegas as much as you guys never wanted to stay there. Just thought it was too big.
Thanks as always!
(BTW, im a long-time viewer and first-time commenter.)
IMHO, this is a very fair and honest review.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Agreed pretty much on all points…
1970s? Downtown still has that party vibe now. The strip is crap for partiers these days.
@@realrocker777 Its really not the strip is wild if you go to the right places. You are just probably a salty local.
No thanks!!
I like your selection of opening soundtrack . Energetic and a groovy listen . :)
Appreciate that! That track has gotten equal parts compliments and insults. Thanks as always for watching!
I'm commenting before watching - I also have never stayed at CP but I've also had nothing but bad luck in the casino so I'm not in a hurry
I have never stayed at Caesar’s palace but I have eaten at Amalfi and watched Sting concert at the Colosseum. Also had late night drinks at Vanderpump. I do prefer personal refrigerator in the room for my medications. Great video.
You can get a free refrigerator in ANY hotel for insulin, etc. Just ask.
Thanks for the info. I too have been to Vegas probably over 30 times and have never stayed at Ceasars and was curious about the property. Great info Thanks!
Unless “Comp’ed”, NOT worth it!
Thanks so much for watching!
Stayed there once. ONCE.
Ashden, I can envision you hosting a real estate show! As always, great video folks; thank you!!
Thanks as always for watching!
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION, I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. SO FUNNY ADDING IN THE MOVIE SCENES 🤣🤣🤣. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT JOB, I ENJOYED WATCHING 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😄👍🏼🤣🤣🤣

Great review of the Caesar Metropolis! Never stayed or gambled there due to the size either LV or AC. MGM or HR guy.
You always show great videos on your channel, my question is; the music in your video today is from? Please let me know!
The opening track is “Behind These Closed Doors” by Otis McDonald. Thanks for watching!
Thanks guys!
For those prices, I'd much rather stay at the Wynn. Although I have to admit I'm one of those people who never really understood the appeal of Caesar's compared to some of the newer options.
Yep. Thanks for watching!
I've never stayed at Caesars but have been there several times. Your video and assessments have given me even more reason to just visit the casino and see the place but not spend my money on a room there.
Great video guys!

Great Video, you guys are getting better each video. Thanks for the overview.

Lovely room. Reminds me of the room I had at Wynn hotel, especially the large luxurious bathroom.
The Wynn has this room beat by a mile. Perhaps more like 1,000 miles... Thanks for watching!
Agree totally with the casino, and was even more disappointing when they took out tons of tables near the mall entrance. Mostly a giant slots setup now. Bellagio has more table options in a much more compact area. I do love the Colosseum though.
Love your videos. Your wife is a rocket. Good for you!
Used to frequent Caesars properties on the strip, but over the last 5-7 years we have moved to The Venituan and Wynn... better value.
Agreed pretty much on all points. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely, the Octavius Tower location is awful! Thanks for watching!
First trip with my wife to Vegas we stayed at Caesars Palace and liked it however since then we've stayed at all MGM properties due to the much better comps and considerations.
Great review! I always appreciate your objectivity.
Thanks so much!
Awesome video! It’s funny, Caesars is the only “big” casino on the strip we really avoid. Don’t like the layout, no value and crowded. That said their sportsbook is great and they have nice restaurants.
agreed with this review! So much walking just to get from your room to the strip and it’s confusing
Thanks for watching!
Spot on! Nice video guys.
🙌🏻 Thanks for watching!
Joe's is one of our favorites, and a Must everytime were in town. Fantastic service, and food. They used to have really good lunch specials, but dont they still exist post covid.
Our meal was great, we’ll definitely be back. Not sure why it took us so long for finally eat there!
Sounds like a classic case for disputing the charge with the credit card company!
I agree 100%. The pool looks nice, but it’s unbearably cold.
Whenever I plan a trip I price Caesars but it's always crazy high, plus it seems so overwhelmingly huge. This video just cemented my opinion. I liked Paris hotel for it's location, price, and general vibe.
Outstanding report!!
Thanks so much!
While my husband loved the stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat, I felt very similar to a lot of the cons you mentioned and I would be more favored to choose other Caesars properties (unless I can ever score a decent price on the Nobu hotel)
On our stay we had the smaller version of the room you both had in the Augustus tower (The Augustus Premium King) but had we not gotten that room at such a steal ($90/night with no resort fee for Diamond and because it was right before Christmas), the regular price is definitely much higher than we would ever want to pay for that room.
For me… it was a fun experience and I am glad to have checked it off the bucket list. But just wanted to share my thoughts and say that I agree with your impressions mentioned in the video.

Palazzo, Delano, or Cosmo are fantastic hotels if you're spending $100+ per night. WAY better, and much larger, newer rooms for the money
I sooooo want that vegas jacket!
Joe’s is one of our favorite restaurants. Upscale but not overpriced.
Great informative videos, thank you.
Joe’s was awesome! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! Ashden is indeed left handed.
Stick with her …. She’s a keeper. Mainly because she’s a lefty.
I got 2 free nights at Caesars and really enjoyed the place but I would under no circumstance pay $500 a night to stay there. I think you nailed it when you talk about there being no value. The place is also a maze which is kind of fun tbh. I guess it just depends how high and drunk you are tho. lol
Worst value on the strip, perhaps. Thanks for watching!
Another great review ....I think you nailed it.
Thank you kindly!
CET was never known for service, but it has really gone downhill since El Dorado bought them out. Thanks for watching!
Personal preference, but you can still get a true Vegas experience for a lot less money at a dozen places on the strip. Thanks for watching!
Great video!
Thanks so much!
I've never liked Caesars that much. I'll stick with the Cosmo even though it's MGM now (barf). I did check out Fountain Bleau and I'd stay there if we ever get free rooms.
Caesars is iconic. A wonderful experience, worth every penny , but not for everyone, thank God !
We’ll have to agree to (strongly) disagree on it being worth the money. Probably the worst value on the strip, considering the rooms are 3 star quality for a 5 star price. Thanks for watching!
Stayed at the Augustus Tower several times over the years. Always had a room with view
of the Bellagio Fountains. Very beautiful rooms. Watched many shows at the Coliseum.
Some of the best Rod Stewart and Celine. Don't go to Vegas anymore because of all the
changes. Used to go at least 6 times a year from the Southeast of the country. We don't like
what Vegas has become. Too many shady characters. Just don't feel safe anymore.
What is that backpack with the electronic advertisement on the face of the backpack all about ?
I mean, I think it is just what it looks like. Thanks as always for watching!
Are you able to earn RC with the players card at the restaurants?
Yes. Either charge it to your room at any Caesars property or present your Caesars Rewards card when you pay the bill.
Awesome video
Thanks!
I agree with you you 💯 on this review
Thanks for watching!
I had a much easier time navigating through MGM Grand and the Venetian canal shoppes, Caesars is a maze
For the same price or less you can get a FAR nicer room at Bellagio, Venetian/Palazzo, Cosmopolitan, even Wynn or Encore…
We’ll have to agree to disagree about most of this, especially the part about being well run.
Its like a nicer more expensive version of MGM GRAND but nowhere near as fun if that makes sense.
Only two devices per room?!?! And then an additional charge for another device?!?! Isn’t that the purpose of the resort fee? Total rip off.
It’s a ridiculous policy, for sure. Thanks for watching!

Yeah I actually think Paris & Planet Hollywood are better value for dollar than Caesars. Have never stayed at Flamingo or Cromwell, so can’t really comment on them yet. To me, Caesars is only worth it during swimming pool season
