    so true. I was married at 25 years old I ran the streets and didn't go home to my husband,I was doing everything but being a wife. My husband at the time was so loving caring and supportive but I did not have the right examples in my life because no one NEVER in my family had a healthy relationship. My husband eventually divorced me when I was 33 he tried his best to put up with me. God removed that man right out of my life and if I could go back I would you cant keep misusing people like God not sleep then cry when they are GONE!!. I'm grateful for this ministry I am healing and loving God and myself more each day !! Thanks, Pastor.

    I've finally learned all these things at age 75!! But better late than never! One problem relating to number 5 on Pastor Blake's list, i.e. learn from one's mother and grandmother - is that these days, motherhood is almost scorned by society in general, and so daughters don't listen with respect to mother's wise and gentle advice. Daughters often learn these things the hard way, much later in life.

    It’s a shame when we try to compete with the sins of a man, to say we can sin just like them. “I can sleep around just like a man can.” That’s not power. That’s degradation at its finest. We should be encouraging men to honor their bodies vs competing to dishonor our own.

    Firstly, thank you Pastor Blakes for your teachings and pursuing your purpose! You and your wife are truly a blessing! As a 51-year old woman, let me tell you truly wising up at a later age is a painful pill to swallow because I can’t get that time wasted and my youth back. I have struggled to forgive myself for my past mistakes with men. I was never promiscuous by a long shot but I stayed in relationships snd situationships that I should have never entertained even for a day way too long. My type was absolutely not my kind. Thankfully, I at least got my education (engineer with masters degree) and am able to support myself and my 2 children (twins conceived via sperm donor in my 40s…very hard decision but very thankful for my children and I am getting to experience motherhood). I always dated professional men but looking good on paper does not translate to having good character and being husband material in of itself. I had to do a lot of inner work including therapy, prayer, and listening to messages like this one heal and be whole enough to be able to even recognize a good man but I wish I had done that younger. I counsel my nieces and young cousins to not make the same mistakes. I hope they are really listening. I have not given up on marriage but there are certainly more marriageable men available in your 20s than in your 40s and 50s.

I am 51 as well and a widow and feel confident that if you are whole, feminine and enjoy life you will find love easily actually. We are seasoned and it does not take people in our age group to make their minds up. Stay encouraged sis 💕💕

    Dear Mr RC Blakes, I agree with most of things you said in this video. But I must say that every woman is different and have different path. I am in my mid 30ties, single. And I was wifey from the start of my relationship journey. Also, I have three women my age around me that are single, but not because they were loose or promiscuous, they have high education and good career. They have car, flat and good salary. They are also wifey vibe, and they are really good women (sometimes too good). But almost every guy they met just wanted to have fun and not to take responsibility for the relationship. So, I can't agree that women who are not married and are beyond 30 years old are not wise. According to you, it looks like it was wiser to married right after every kind of high school and be a wife. And us who worked hard and studied, and go to the education and building career, we are now looking stupid. It's not good to judge people like that. Guess what? All my promiscuous female
    acquaintances married first and pretty young. So, usually women that are left single are not just with loose history, but also women who are now financially stable and educated but single. No hard feelings, take care! God bless you!

      Agree with this! I think @bishop may need to tackle address this at some point - there is a growing cohort of late 20s - mid 30s women who have done things “right” and still aren’t married! So what, are we all loose?? 😂

    • @brijones3861
      @brijones3861 Год назад +10

      That's true I was thinking the same thing . Not every woman squandered their 20s by sleeping around, clubbing or by being promiscuous. Some of us had standard from the start and still got passed by. Due to the same exact standards that we are told to have (in which I always will stand by) but I was thinking like the "marrying years" will not be the same for everyone and it doesn't mean that the sister did anything wrong if she was the one waiting longer. Bishop is my dawg lol but I didn't agree with some things that were said on this one. Like you said the ones I saw married early and young were the woman who were spread eagle (tony gaskins term) but no judgement just evaluation. God still have something greater and better instore. It may take longer but it will be worth it!

    • @sophiangobeni6523
      @sophiangobeni6523 Год назад +20

      I concur with this. I am actually the contrary to your situation, I got married at 23, then had my son, I am currently raising my son single-handedly. I did everything by the book and yet here I am.
      In hindsight, I wish I had stayed and not gotten married until I was at least 30, even at the ripe age of 33, I cannot honestly say that I am ready for marriage. I would not encourage anyone to get married in their 20's because those are meant to be building years. Marriage is a nice to have, but it's not essential, being educated, being financially independent and self-development is far more important than marriage because it provides you with security and a gift of choice. Studies also show that people who marry later on in life, have a far better chance of being happily married and less likely to get divorced.
      Here's what I know, life has no instruction manual, you can do all the right things and still get it wrong. Marriage is a gift from God, if God has assigned you a husband, your husband will find you at the age of 20 or at the age of 200. God's timing is perfect timing. Women should not feel pressured to lock down a mate by an X - age, women should feel pressured to find God's given purpose for their lives. It's also important to note that marriage is not on the cards for all of us, and that too is okay to be honest. Live your life and trust in God and His timing for your life, not all buds bloom at the same time.
      I pray that every women garners God's wisdom to understand God's assignment and purpose, that we be bestowed with discernment and an explosive pursuit of what God has individually set aside for each one of us.

    So true. Smacking In the face with reality. I wish I heard you at 20 years old. I had a severely broken consciousness. My father broke all trust/security/safety and I searched for love with wrong people all my life until almost 5 years ago. I started changing because God intervened and for my children. No longer with a “clown with a crown” as you like to say. Im healing, if I’m supposed to be with Jesus forever in this world as well as eternity, and have no other person on earth that I do long for someday, than that is going to have to be enough because His grace is sufficient. Thank you Pastor Blake’s and Lisa! Im also working on my BSN. I love life today. 💜

    You are so right! It is when you don’t know yourself that you succumb to anyone. Women need to make truly finding themselves as their first priority before trying to pursue a relationship with a man.

    *AND* you have to be fortunate and blessed enough to encounter men who are serious about you and have their goals and vision set. A woman can be ready and wise like this in her youth but it takes TWO to make it happen. It has to be the right place, the right time, the right encounter, the right man & woman. Every man I observed between 16 - present, I never considered marriage material. Men get a pass for being "men" and women are blamed when they end up left behind and empty handed.

    SO TRUE!
    Man! ……I WISH I had listened to the Wisdom of my dear mother. She’s gone on to be with the Lord now but she knew what she was talking about and did teach me about the importance of getting to “know a person, not just let him play over your body,”She’d say, but….. I didn’t listen.
    IF only I had listened to her; not my friends, not immature boys and men or the deception of the devil and the world, I’d have saved myself some unnecessary drama and heartache.
    If you are a young woman, please listen to Mr. Blakes in this message. Save yourself! Not just sexually but mentally and emotionally as well.
    Trust me baby girl, at the end of the day or the end of your life, it’s just not worth it! It’s NOT.

    You can do all the right things and it still not going to make the right man appear. You know how many wonderful women I know that are still single out here. I think you just have to be happy with self and enjoy your family and friends. You can’t make the right person show up in your life just because you want them too.
