Dart Zone's being doing 90+ fps flywheel blasters using 6 AAs for years now. Theoretically, Hasbro could do the same, because they have made 90+ fps blasters that uses 6 Ds., but they only do that with Rival blasters not dart blasters.
I’m glad I didn’t go out and get a command fire. Dartzone has a good but bad habit of making something good and then quickly making the same thing better. For example powerball-titanium accelerator-velocity scorpion-lightcommand and now this. I’m still waiting for the magnum version 2 though.
@@djpermian5078 They did. Twice. They made a pump action version called the villainator, and they made a magnum x2 with a much better stock with the original.
Definitely gonna remove the "hopper open" sensor and build an extension on the hopper for one of these. It looks like it's practically begging for a "heavy machine gun" cosmetic mod.

you should test which darts work with it, including half darts. theoretically if the feeding mech is good enough it should matter how long the dart is.
This thing would make a RIDICULOUS "God Eater" style "gunblade." Replace that foregrip with an EVA-foam blade, and you'll be the toast of your local Nerf war.
Personally, i feel like the higher fire rate would fend a bit better in the commandfire, and if I were to get one of these, I’d just swap the internals to gain that extra firepower with a higher capacity. Even if the commandfire is ugly and ergonomically awkward, I still can’t get over that drop of capacity in the destructor. Heck. I’d even remove the top handle from the destructor and put it on the commandfire to make it my personal flywheel primary dart blaster. Regardless, this is a great deal for anyone wanting to get into the hobby, or veterans who want semi-modded performance out of the box as a secondary’s. Love the video! Can’t wait to see your arm-mounted project come to a close later on!
I would redo that grip just for me personally to a more traditional grip but I with hopper fed dart blasters were a thing when i got into hvz and invested a ton of money in mags and loadout. Plus hitting 90fps stock?! Damn I would've jumped on that in a heartbeat!
The Commandfire had issues with the length of Accufake darts (which can be easily resolved by trimming some plastic off). I wonder if Dart Zone fixed the issue with the Destructor.
WS7 Woo Hoo thiHoo s thig is freakin awesome. Thanks for picking this up and reviewing it for us. I cant wait to get this. Another super review in the books. Keep up the great work.
So people in the comments keep saying this would make a good gunblade and I have to agree. Like a chainsword from warhammer or a psycho’s buzzsaw from Borderlands 2. I realize I’m a little late to the party for this video but I hope walcom and other people see this.
Howdy Walcom, I appreciate the way you explain how this would make a good entry level blaster. Some folks might have overlooked those points/features. Thanks for the review. - Jed 🤠
Throw a pistol grip and stock on it mod the hopper into more of a disc shape (no need to try to make a pan mag just leave it a hopper) and make it a Lewis gun
Looking at these things, I'm really coming to want to see them make a machine gun blaster with side mounted hopper with a more conventional layout, kinda like the Japanese type 11 LMG
What you should do is get 2 and mount them to the outside of either leg. Then you just kneel and squeeze that trigger. Excellent emergency escape plan.
I think I'm gonna buy this instead of the hyperfire cuz I use full auto as a sec and cuz my primary not mag fed so it's kinda pointless to have extra mags on me
Big question, what does "2s" means? Airsofters and R/C enthusiasts usually use the voltage and the discharge rate as the important numbers (ie 12V 5c 2500MaH Li-Po)
I do wanna say that the pusher mechanism on the infinus, although a faster firing design, is poorly designed. I’ve had an infinite amount of problems, even after a good motor swap. The belt design from the DZ Destructor is something nerf/Hasbro needs to do, no spike on the belt, just a similar flat design. It’s far more efficient in firing, it’s faster, more reliable, doesn’t tear up darts. Walcom, what’s your thought on this?
You reminded me that I need to test this but I don't think it works that way because of the gap between the flywheels and the conveyor, but if it's not...well, I Have an idea for that.

I can’t imagine that flying well because of how small they are
@@chickensandwich2193 they fly plenty well in every other blaster they're compatible with. If they go through the wheels straight then they'll work.
I personally tested this, and they don’t feed due to the darts getting flipped over, and then they start blocking the hole where the flywheels are.

The Tribunal Of The Imagination Yes please
Since it's not magazine fed, you could theoretically run a stryfe or rapidstrike as a secondary, which is a huge bonus of this type of blaster.

I mean, probably just stick with the Commandfire then.
