Billy is a really nice approachable guy. I talked to him for a while after a Mr. Big concert here in Nashville 3 years ago. Very nice and talked to just a nobody like me. He said he was thinking of moving to Nashville, and he did.
When he said "yes" to pineapple on pizza, I was about to throw away all my Talas, Winery Dogs, Mr Big, DLR CD's... and then he said "Jimi Hendrix"... OK he saved himself LOL In all seriousness, I got to meet Billy Sheehan a few years ago and he truly is one of THE MOST down to earth, humble musician I ever met. Just an all around great man.
Billy is such a great musician and even better person… he is probably the greatest bassist of all time, but he is still down to earth. He’s not cocky like a Lot of celebrities, he have a big heart and he really Love His fans… and i’m know what i am talkin bout… thank you Billy!

Right handed rock players often are hard of hearing in the left ear because that's the ear pointed towards the amps. You can tell he's got those battle scars.

Remember seeing Billy Sheehan with Talas in 1977. They were playing at Delaware park in Bflo. Before they went onstage, Billy was combing his hair with the largest comb I have ever seen ! L.O.L.

I'd choose Billy to be with on that desert island. I've met him once and he was really easy to hang out with. With his can-do attitude we wouldn't be on that island for very long
