Im a mail carrier. I worked at Jensen drive station for 3 years. This was my mail route. I met some really nice people here. I also learned how to master the art of “mind yo business”! The dogs have their own community. I’m blessed to have started my mail career here. Makes me really appreciate the route that I’m on now
Poverty, mental illness, drug abuse, and little to no resources in Texas for those suffering (especially during Covid) leaves a lot of people to do such things. They weren’t born into this world nasty. They were raised within the thick of it. To them, that’s normal, comfort, and home. It’s deeply sad.

I have done doordash in that area and yea only good places are by the highway or close to the highway. I only saw one grocery store in that whole hood and it was a Fiesta by the Highway.
You just have to know it. A lot of good food just not McDonald's and things your used to seeing. People sell plates there is spots you just wouldn't think look like a restaurant that will have the best food.
