Exactly what I need to do to my holsters. Just need a slight better contour to my hips for better concealment. Thanks for the tip.
I do mine horizontally, piece of plywood, a 1x2 and a few clamps. I use a cut up mouse pad to cover the eyelets, a small adapter on the heat gun, and a wet washcloth to cover up the gun portion of the holster.
Great job!!- can I handle hot (300 degree) Kydex with those thinner Nomex gloves?

Just bought that same heat gun from Harbor Freight for $9.00, glad to see it is not loud at all.
have you ever seen those big ass plier things... think they're called brakes or breaks? i know for a fact that i seen them at harbor friend... kinda like pliers with a wide vise mouth... may be a tool to check out!
are you finding that the power switch keeps failing on those harbor frieght heat guns? i swear ive returned that model no less than 10 times

Actually, I have not had a problem with it. I have dropped it several time, enough to hear little plastic parts rattling around in it and still works fine. Maybe I just got lucky. then again, I don't use the heat gun other than doing bends.
