  • Here is my latest Let's Play Train Simulator video and like I promised I would do. I have done another video on John Kirk's excellent North Lincolnshire Line route and here I am taking a passenger service from Boston to Skegness in a Class 156 whilst calling at Wainfleet and Havenhouse along the way. I have set the theme to around 1995/6 that is based on the very last days of British Rail operation before the entire railway network was completely privatised in early 1997.
The route is set in the 1950's pre-Beeching era before he sadly closed down many lines around the UK in the 1960's. The reason I chose to make this scenario set in the 1990's as this was my favourite theme as the short-lived Regional Railways "Express" livery on the Class 156 DMU Railcars looked the best. I have used the Armstrong Powerhouse sounds as I enjoy my experience more when it is realistic. The AI traffic pool consists of both passenger and freight that would have been typically seen around the time.
You can download this fantastic and historical North Lincolnshire route from his website here - www.lincs-train... The only assets required is the European Loco and Assets Pack and the AP Station Asset file to use the route and some other additional payware locomotives and stock to use the included scenarios.
    Enjoy the ride.
