Ive learn 90% this song on the oud. It is the very last part that isn't sounding so clear. If anyone could help with the finger placement on the closing portion I'd really appreciate it.
Hello Navid, I am Eduardo from Chile, first of all I want to thank you for your great delivery on your page and RUclips channel, it has been a great help to me. I wanted to ask you for a recommendation from a Spanish-speaking Arabic Oud teacher or school, since I have the possibility of looking for a teacher with government funds, for this it is also necessary that it be someone influential or a school with experience. Beforehand thank you very much.
Hi Eduardo, I would look into Berklee College of Music in Boston. Simon Shaheen teaches there. Also look into the University of Gothenburg. Akmad Al-Khatib teaches there.
Great tutorial, as a beginner oud player I tend to never use my pinky finger, and I use my third finger instead. Any tips on how to practice the pinky?
Thanks for the lessons. Raqset El Gamal means The Dance of Beauty رقصة الجمال

Navid is it ok to use sharp and flat at the same time at our Key signature ?
They don't do it in Western Classical music, but you can mix whatever sharp and flat in the key signature that makes sense for the maqam.
nice demonstration

On the C string you can practice moving from 3rd finger to pinky using notes E & F. Also do the same with E flat with your 2nd finger and F.
@@OudforGuitarists thank you, will practice it more.
