cord cutters.. .. in Australia we call it street scrapping (your kerbside scavenging) the stuff on the street is destined for land fill, some people make a couple of hundred bucks a day cutting cords off anything they find, better than it ending up in landfill
I'm in Valinhos SP I'm 62 years old and I also like to watch your RUclips channel for me it's a pleasure to see you messed up with these objects that you collect from the trash
Mike Please please be careful jumping in those dumpsters. I saw that "widow maker" and nearly lost it!! The dumpster right before that one you had just jumped right on top of the trash bag and I just cant get that out of my thoughts! I afraid of seeing you jump in and cut yourself all up on glass or impale yourself on something. We care about you and want to see you get hurt❤❤ Oh and Miss Dottie need some 💕 she takes a beating but shes always there for you❤❤❤
Glad to know us people in new england are not the only ones that seem to get rain way too often this summer. I pour concrete so it creates real problems with getting loaded concrete trucks around the job sites with so much mud.
The factory floor mats, when we replaced ours with weathertec, went in the back on top of the spare tire. Because kneeling on a carpet floor mat is way more comofrtable than kneeling on the chipseal shoulder when changing a tire, no matter what the weather.
I love your videos!!! I’m an ER nurse and and I’ve had a few bad days, one was on Saturday. You’re videos are just what I need on those bad days. You have a great sense of humor. I knew nothing about scraping but I’ve learned a lot and I get happy when you find great, odd finds. Keep up the great work Mike. God bless you. ✌🏼I’m so glad I ran into your video. I think about a year ago. Been looking forward to them since.
Me and my brother would get ahold of a demolition company and talk to them about us getting out whatever we could and they told us as long as we're not holding them up we could take whatever we could get out before they got there . They would give us ahead start which most of the time it was a week ahead. We had to get 2 more people so we could stay ahead and we made a shitload of money doing that . Hell if we could of we would of kept doing it but the demo companies had to bid to get the jobs so they wouldn't let us do it anymore. They started doing what we were doing to make up for the low bids that they had to do to get it
you put so much energy into what you do....great to watch...and as for quiet, I dont think you could be quiet ,but as you are only dumpster diving it doesnt matter too much...LOL...be safe
Mike, while I have always shared your enthusiasm for scrapping I no longer have, at 75, your endless energy. You are one energizer guy. Remember most schools can put to good use a box of pens and pencils.
I'm only 42 and it's not as easy for me to climb in as it was 10 years ago. I wonder if he has ever done like me and slipped when going to hop in and rake both shins down the edge of a dumpster. I stood there leaning against it for what felt like an hour swearing I was done lol. Actually I was back out the next day.
Dude I can't believe how much I love dumpster diving lol... I never did it until I started watching your videos and now it's where most of the scrap I get comes from... and I always go to places that are doing construction and been getting a lot of wire and good stuff
Mike. Carry a cordless drill for the TV’s. Take out the 6 screw on back of the TV and pull the copper wires out of the inside of the TV then dump the rest back in the dumpster. Easy money!
That nice looking dishwasher was banged up because you dropped it and almost cracked Texas. 32:17 BOOM! Always get remotes to tv's. People buy them! Fountain pens and name brand pen can sell for $100's
Another great video❣️ BTW those torture devices are what my mom used to use with a rotisserie spit in the grill. Great Chickens in the days before Sam’s Club rotisserie chicken were even thought of yet. 😉
Hi mike just finished my shift get home and looking forward 2 watching your video always amazing and have a laugh 😆 u have a great sense of humour as always stay safe regards 2 family peace ✌️😎respect 🍀
Hey Mike, the easiest way to get the tubes out of those light fixtures is to lay it flat and step on one end. The end will bend outward and the light tubes all come free at once.
Same here in Oregon. Plus they don’t recycle everything like we do so all the metal and fun stuff goes away before we can get to them. You have to find roadside stuff or look on Craigslist and sites like that. I like mikes way better!
Hey Mike, great finds! I just wanted to mention that whenever you find a fan you should break off the fan blades and leave them behind. They just take up extra space and aren't worth anything. Keep on scavenging!
As a plumber that works with a lot of other trades and does mostly commercial work, you would not believe how much shit we actually throw out, new and slightly used shit.
Satisfying to watch! Ha! Good stuff. Thanks for not using cuss words... My family can watch! I'd like to see a video on how you process the scrap. I knew a guy who burned the insulation off wire. Not sure that's necessary... 🙂

Use a old broom handle and put a screw hook in the end it works great seen them used and made me a couple for around the garage to grab things up high.
