    Wow!!!! It looks more active than unused or abandoned. Almost as though it’s being run by a skeleton crew.

      Lol decommissioned would've probably been a better choice of words for our title.

    Anti-tick clothing has elasticated cuffs (legs and sleeves), so that ticks cannot crawl in and infect you. Or trousers can be loose, but tucked into military boots. After hiking in the forest, be sure to inspect each other for the presence of ticks. Also use repellents.

    What you guys think is the boilers are actually the condensers . The part where they have scaffold built around where you initially came in is the boiler , the boilers are huge usually multiple stories tall !

    It sounds like the area you are in, is extremely energized by extremely high voltage. I’d be afraid to touch even the wall if I heard that loud of buzzing.

    So weird that no alarms got triggered and no security was found... :|
    It almost looks like it's being run from someone at home because of the pandemic :D

    What you called the boiler isn't the boiler. That looks like a heat exchanger to me. The thing at the first that one of you said you wasn't strong enough to open was part of the boiler.

    Aren't you afraid of picking up infectious ticks in this forest? For example, with the causative agents of ehrlichiosis - ehrlichia (Rickettsiales).
    Wear clothing that covers all exposed areas of the body.🤨🤨

      We’re not too worried about it especially here in the Midwest where it is not as prevalent

      Ticks? Weren’t the masks that were disposed of next to the water bottles enough of a clue? That coal that got on their hands got into their lungs undoubtedly. “ it’s just coal ash.” I guess Darwin was right.

    Welcome to the Twilight Zone ! Would be interesting to see what it's powering and why. Was there actually a power draw on the station.? Looks very strange with relatively current technology and is operating. Maybe it was left on auto and they went on vacation and forgot to lock up. so where is this really, GPS coordinates.

    • @ThePitCrewUrbex
      @ThePitCrewUrbex  8 месяцев назад +1

      It was actually in the process of being decommissioned and demolished that is why the power was still on. It was only really “abandoned” for like a week at this point lol

    Just so yall know power plants fall under "critical infrastructure" and getting caught in one sans permission could lead not only to a misdemeanor trespassing charge (meh) but could include charges of a national security nature. Again, because it's considered "critical infrastructure".
