Wow!!!! It looks more active than unused or abandoned. Almost as though it’s being run by a skeleton crew.
Lol decommissioned would've probably been a better choice of words for our title.
@@ThePitCrewUrbex Lol Right.
Anti-tick clothing has elasticated cuffs (legs and sleeves), so that ticks cannot crawl in and infect you. Or trousers can be loose, but tucked into military boots. After hiking in the forest, be sure to inspect each other for the presence of ticks. Also use repellents.
Yeah we use plenty of deet
Finally something else to research and find 😂 been to so many abandoned places never gets old
Just found this video two years later and going to try the same thing. Hope it's still there.
What you guys think is the boilers are actually the condensers . The part where they have scaffold built around where you initially came in is the boiler , the boilers are huge usually multiple stories tall !
It sounds like the area you are in, is extremely energized by extremely high voltage. I’d be afraid to touch even the wall if I heard that loud of buzzing.
The cicada noises or am I missing something?
Fuck yeah! I lived a half mile from there for nearly 10 years. We used to swim that river every summer back in high school.
this is crazy! good find
Awesome place
What a cool place for sure!
This place is a hoot lol good work guys
I am new to your channel.. Great content guys😊. It's also pretty cool to see the one guy rocking the golden girl shirt
So weird that no alarms got triggered and no security was found... :|
It almost looks like it's being run from someone at home because of the pandemic :D
26:08 kinda looks how how much power is being produced by some hydro plants
how tf you have only 10k views?? thats like a life spot. Also, is it still standing today??
What you called the boiler isn't the boiler. That looks like a heat exchanger to me. The thing at the first that one of you said you wasn't strong enough to open was part of the boiler.
Next video, get coal And run it up LOL
Why dose that look like the elk river power plant that was torn down
it is not the Elk River plant, as you said that was torn down.
This is Hoot lake and it was also torn down
38:08 atleast they found water at the lab sink
This power plant seems to be semi-abandoned.
Recently closed is probably a better term lol
What part of MN is this in?
North Western
How long ago was this place abandoned?
Pretty sure it was June of 2021
@@ThePitCrewUrbex shhhhh lol
Aren't you afraid of picking up infectious ticks in this forest? For example, with the causative agents of ehrlichiosis - ehrlichia (Rickettsiales).
Wear clothing that covers all exposed areas of the body.🤨🤨
We’re not too worried about it especially here in the Midwest where it is not as prevalent
Ticks? Weren’t the masks that were disposed of next to the water bottles enough of a clue? That coal that got on their hands got into their lungs undoubtedly. “ it’s just coal ash.” I guess Darwin was right.
Where is this???
Liked and subbed btw :)
The power plant is (was) located in Fergus Falls MN. Sadly, it has now been fully demolished.

What’s the address to this location?
Sadly, it has been demolished
Looks like the Nuclear plant in Monticello which those people are trespassing.
I can assure you this is not an active nuclear power plant 😂
The Monticello plant is nuclear.
You guys ever been to the caves in Minnesota?
Not yet but once we figure out you can bet we’ll be on our way
Is this plant in brainerd?
No it is not
Welcome to the Twilight Zone ! Would be interesting to see what it's powering and why. Was there actually a power draw on the station.? Looks very strange with relatively current technology and is operating. Maybe it was left on auto and they went on vacation and forgot to lock up. so where is this really, GPS coordinates.
It was actually in the process of being decommissioned and demolished that is why the power was still on. It was only really “abandoned” for like a week at this point lol
lucky ud dint f with this that honeywell boxes job is monitoring shit with PLC,s u were closr to sebding the trigger to the sysop
Yup was definitely not a place to f around in lol
@@ThePitCrewUrbex Especially not the PLC's - for non-nerds those are special computers that run machines directly. I'm floored that the main control center didn't have any cameras!
First
Just so yall know power plants fall under "critical infrastructure" and getting caught in one sans permission could lead not only to a misdemeanor trespassing charge (meh) but could include charges of a national security nature. Again, because it's considered "critical infrastructure".
We do know this yes
Do y’all have instagram or anything? Would like to collaborate and hit the spot together!
