He also raised Stevie the child of his ex with ANOTHER man...that is a class act right there.
Meanwhile you got people like Drake making up lies about it in his disses like it would be a bad thing
dood it was family........ not someones ex husbands kids
@@anonymousone6075 Yes family fathered by another man with your ex...not many guys would be ok with that.
@@YoreHistory loads of people have loving stepdads.... they even call them dad.
it's normal, okay we can give eminem props for taking on the responsibility at a young age.
but nothing more
@@anonymousone6075 I don't think you understand. He separated with Kim...she then went on to have a kid with someone else. Marshal took that child not only in but adopted her. We are talking about his perspective...not many men would take in the love child of your ex wife and adopt them.
He also broke the cycle for Alaina. Alaina was Kim’s twin sisters daughter that he adopted.
and she just got married too
@@SaintXeroyes she did. Both look like they had such beautiful weddings. He really did right by those girls.
Bet he the real father 🤣
@@TheCommentator112 Lmao that's wild
He also adopted Whitney, who's Kim's daughter with another man. He really leaves no kid behind.
Em has said in an interview that what he is most proud of in his life is that he raised his 3 daughters and that he always strived for them to never have the life he grew up in and always be there for them. He has proven that literally 👌🌺
i think it was in the mike tyson podcast
in reality he abandoned kim and his kids for the fame and let nannies raise the kids once he made it.
you realise he septn 0 time with kim and the kids when he first made it with dre right? you realise they split up because she was abandoned recieving 900$ cheques every other week whilst we was making millions
much respect to Eminem for raising his daughter the right way. No naked pics online, no only fans, no pawn, no stripping, no dating every celebrity man, no NBA / NFL player hopping. None of that. Salute
Hell yes brother
The daughter of a multimillionaire didn't feel like she had to go into sex work? Colour me shocked
@@MrJoeshipleylots of kids of celebrities turn out to be pos and hoes so stop acting like it’s nothing!
@@MrJoeshipleyMiley Cyrus would like a word
@@Despotic_Waffle she does porn?
Love Eminem. He has done right by Haylie, adopted Alaina ( Laney ) and Whitney. He also helps Kim financially apparently. He's a man and deserves all praise for being the father he is .
Castle & Arose from revival , they even hit harder now
Fax. I literally just relistened to them yesterday
Arose will break me every time....I can be laughing my arse off and that comes on and I'm in a puddle of tears. Maybe it's because in 2008, for a few different reasons, I was in the shoes of his daughters in that song and it was my Mama in his view but no spontaneous heart beats :(
I caught an interview where he talks about never knowing or having a father in his life. When asked if he ever wants to meet him the response and his face and eyes tells a lot. You should take a look. Comes from Fatherless home and becomes a great father. Respect is all i can say.

I think the saddest thing i heard was when he was younger he would send letters to his dad and they just got returned unopened
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 wrong address obviouslyh, it's illegal to open someone elses mail
I’m so glad someone is putting all this together, Hailie’s wedding, college degree, his other three kids, breaking the cycle and “Mockingbird”. Excellent job
50 said Em didn't tour much because Em said he didn't want to have Hailey grow up and find he had missed that.
And as she grew up she then got 50 as an uncle too.. damn..
That's why Em is different...He's honest with his music and his fans... He raised 3 girls..
This channel is so much more than a reaction channel.. truly
BP, ur work ethic is inspiring & commendable...I just thought u should be told that it doesn't go unnoticed!! 🎉🎉
YOU SHOULD DO "WHEN IM GONE" by him. Another song that plucks at your heart strings!
Good reaction to the upcoming Father's Day! 😊
Breaking the cycle of homelessness, the cycle of drugs, the cycle of living in the slum, the cycle of a fatherless home, the cycle of being poor, the cycle of dropping out of school, the cycle of violence in the home, that's a huge break.
He was also bullied his entire childhood bc he was white in a black school and neighborhood or I should say schools bc he attended different schools every 3 months bc they would get evicted from their houses. He was beaten by a bully into a coma for 10 days and suffered from seizures for a long time after. He had to relearn how to walk and talk and dress himself and then that bully tried to sue him for a million dollars in like 2002 bc he said his name in a song😂 The judge threw the case out but the funniest part is the judge wrote the verdict in a rap
BP, "When I'm gone" also a heartbreaking Em song bout his daughter
Em Raised 3 beautiful kids. The niece he is talking about in this song he raised as well and she got married last year ❤
Em also did the song Bad Husband (He apologized to Kim for all the crazy stuff he said about her). He did "Headlights" where he apologized to his mom. Please check these out
Being a dad with two daughters this song is very inspirational. Hearing a man open up and be this real about his children is moving and thought provoking. To you dudes out there not being part of your kids (particularly daughters) lives you need to rethink your priorities and understand how it is destroying them..
My father was my stability in my life!! God I miss him Everyday!!😢
I feel Your pain my Dad was there for me all the time but I lost him at the age of 22 and I’ve been broken hearted ever since.
When he mentions the street Navarro, that’s the street that my friend’s cousin, James lived on. Em lived there with James at one time. James committed suicide years ago. Em dudnt come to James’ funeral because he didn’t want to draw attention to himself. He sent a big arrangement of flowers to the funeral.
Em is a GOAT. I love the track Mockingbird, it is one of my favourites of his because of the sentiment he expresses. I can see how much mockingbird resonates with BP being a father of daughters himself. I know how passionate BPand his wife are for protecting their children.
Love Rap now due to your reactions 😊 💚💚💚🦠🦠 Love his love for his daughters
Thanks for doing this BP.
Agree with everything.
As man and father he also promised in "Not Afraid". "Till I Collapse" is one of my favorites to sing. I grew up loving Eazy, so Eminem never offended me. Music is art, and I agree, doesn't mean you have to agree with them. Eminem opened my eyes as a pre-teen. Eyes to what was even going on around me. My brother and I broke the cycle. We're so happy Eminem did, too. Can't help but think his music helped us a bit too.
I love this song it's so bittersweet though. I know he's proud of his kids, and having seen a couple of the podcasts, he's definitely got reasons to be.
I feel this song a lot. I am a new father. My son will be 2 at end of the month. I do my best as only one working. I make just enough to pay the bills and put food on the table. It's a struggle some weeks and it does apply stress worrying about what is going to happen next.
Just keep pushing forward. Your kid will appreciate and learn a lot from it.
@@AutoRevolution715 thanks man, that is the plan. He’s changed my life for the better and just want to provide him what he deserves
@@AutoRevolution715 I came here to say the same. Clutch ask yourself everyday do you feel like you gave everything you could and you will find a way. That is now and forever your number one priority in this world. I am giving you a prayer and wishing you good fortune you got this.
Thank you from us Stans , sidenote . we wouldnt be such a-holes if Em would get the respect he deserves , we jump on everything like wolves , ive been defending Em for the last 25 years , we just fight fire with fire , race, censorship , are real , i will stand with Em till i die , context i was a hip hop head way before Em , but he is one of the greatest
His daughter lived 2 houses down from me, with his ex, they sold it a year ago. Its up for sale again, quiet neighbors, couldn't complain. I hear she was very smart in school.
No surprise she's smart, Em is brilliant. He's just not well educated like she's been able to become.
This was always my favorite song he did.
thank you for sharing this, this side of Eminem what always made me a big fan of him, underneath all crazy lyrics and personas he's genuinely a good human being, my dad was always in my life but never felt like i have a dad, he always told us how he hated the responsibility, i get emotional sometimes when i meet someone in my life and as simple as they just tell me don't worry I'll take care of this thing cuz i never felt that i never felt like i can be stress free i never felt like i wasn't alone and my dad didn't go addiction or poverty but he did have the same type of father that he is right now, he didn't break the cycle
it's truly underrated to seew where Eminem is at right now, he went through poverty, fatherless home, problems with his mom, failed marriage, losing his friend and addiction and overdose and HE MADE IT he overcame it all he never left his daughter behind, he never failed her and i truly wish people would take inspiration from that
Thank You again from making this full cycle video
Great reaction BP.
Castle and Arose after this please. It will tie everything in. The fact he got to be in Hailie's wedding is emotional for me... for him!! Alaina got married a a year or two ago too! 😭 Makes me so happy for him ❤
Nothing but the best for Eminem's family and yours Back Pegasus.... at the bass line.... this is what the game was always about
Great shout out to Eminem! Thanks! Have always liked him.
BP ❤️❤️you’re a great dad, just like mom’s it’s the hardest job in life, but it’s also the most rewarding. Your audience is enjoying the variety you been playing. Good music is good music no matter what genre or era. Love to you and your family. ❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️👵🏼 Gmaw
Keep these coming BP! Em never gets old
Definitely a quality substance track. Good content and great reaction you can relate to with the fresh eyes of a parent. ❤
I respect em completely for always being great dad with all he went through and i respect you for understanding and putting this out to recognize that theres more to an artist behind the music a man who sacrificed so much to stay strong for his kids
Beautiful words, I’m so grateful for your reactions. Eminem is honest to a fault as we all work through struggles of life.
❤❤❤
I have heard this song so many times but this time it just hit me..
You need to check out castle and arose back to back...I know you love the story telling an you'll love these 2
This is dope bro. Keep the eminem reaction/ revisit coming
Thank you for the reaction, even though I am not of the age to appreciate rap I enjoyed your breakdown. Classic rock old boy hear, but good music is good music, and I can see the beauty in MM. REALY enjoyed your chat the other day with Derrick from Aries the nation.
Hailies song is wild. Should check out it.
I second that
I really encourage doing a deep dive through Eminem’s work! 😊 Over the last few years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for him. What he’s accomplished as an artist and as a human being, despite his difficult start to life, is remarkable. From his earliest stuff to the most recent, he’s repeatedly shown a high level of introspection and emotional intelligence. (Then there’s the crazy Slim Shady stuff, but that’s a different story. 🤪 He’s diverse. 😂)
He was huge when I was in high school, and I always enjoyed his more popular songs that got a lot of radio/video play, but just never bothered to buy and listen to any whole albums. His Super Bowl appearance a few years ago got me all nostalgic and prompted the deep dive through his catalogue, and led to a lot of incidental learning about various details of his life story. Despite being abandoned by his father, growing up in poverty with a mentally ill mother, being bullied/beaten as a kid, dropping out of high school, experiencing sudden fame, trying to navigate his complicated/toxic relationship with Kim, and spiraling out of control following his best friend’s death to the point of overdosing and nearly dying…he grew into a solid father figure for many people in his life and has come out on the bright side. He got his younger half brother out of the foster care system and raised him, raised Hailie up to be an intelligent and well-adjusted young lady, and raised his ex’s niece and child from another relationship as if they were his own. He’s been sober for over 1 1/2 decades. And he’s grown as an artist, even if a lot of his more recent stuff has had less commercial appeal.
In the same/similar vein of this reaction, I would recommend checking out “When I’m Gone,” “Beautiful,” “Walk on Water,” “Castle”/“Arose” (two tracks back-to-back that really are a package deal and basically one song), “Headlights,” and “Leaving Heaven.” They may not be the most commercially appealing songs, may not have his most intricate flows or rhyme schemes, etc…but they reveal his more emotional/vulnerable side.
For what I consider maybe his absolute best work, check out his feature on Yelawolf’s song “Best Friend.” Em showed all out on that one. It’s both deeply emotional/personal (speaks of his late best friend, Proof), and it’s incredibly dense/intricate in flow patterns, rhyme schemes, word play, and themes (religious/Biblical, violence/death). You could absolutely write a thesis on how that verse epitomizes what rap can be as an art form.
Thank you. I appreciate hearing your take on this.
Thank you for sharing this reaction and insight.
12:05 thats the reaction of a real loving dad and strong man
and 13:10 nails it down
The kids were in the video for Houdini. It was brief but funny. They got his sense of humor.
And another Eminem song that always stood out to me was headlights the song he wrote about his mother we should react to that one one day thank you
As a 40 (something😂) y/o... here for it!! Been following (subbed)you for awhile and I love your Em Reactions!
I always liked his song DRIPS, for some reason. Lol
"Cleaning Out My Closet" is about his mother and unloading on her about all the skeletons in there....should revisit that one!
He also wrote her an apology song called “headlights” and wrote Kim an apology song called “bad husband” so let’s highlight the positive and not just the negative!
Love Mockingbird ❤️ being a Daddy's girl myself, always tickled me on the last line " Don't Fuck with Dad" 😆 I always thought, through his lyrics, he was a great Dad. Seeing Hailie now I'm so pleased that was true. All of us parents make mistakes, telling porkies if any think they haven't, then hopefully learning from them and changing for the better.
I dont have to tell you you're blessed with your 2 girls, Dad has always (to me) been my number 1 man, when I found out he was called Dave at aged 3ish I named all of my dolls and teddies "Dave" 😆 Bought me a tortoise and asked what I would like to call it? "Dave" 😆 in other words to Daughters (lucky ones I mean, as I know not sadly it isn't the same for all 💔) Dad's are just the best 🥰🥰
I know you think a lot of your subscribers/members who love your country reactions don’t listen to rap but we do. I would love to see you react to Tom McDonald.
I love this song and have done since I first heard it.
Em has always stood strong for his daughters.
Love to see you react to Eminem! My personal favourites are Soldier and Till I Collapse. Eminem at his best, IMO.
His daughter just got married in my town of Battle Creek. I was out of town that day. :( Id have loved to see him.
IMO Em's at his best when he lets his pain and vulnerability show, like with this song.
Man you brought up dipset and it brought back memories! RIP stack bundles! You should react to some old max b and JR Writer and Hell Rell
Glad you found this!
"I don't follow anyone's life like that except Jesus Christ." Amen! He will never lead you astray. Hold fast, BP! Never let go of Him.
With how balls to the wall crazy I want him to go on this new album I want a wholesome song about his kids and how proud he is
Jedi Mind Tricks! Now there's a band I haven't thought of in a long time. I saw them perform with Rage Against the Machine and Wu-Tang Clan almost 20 years ago at Rock the Bells.
He raised three girls. He raised Hailie. He also raised Alaina, the older girl in the video who was Kim's twin sister's daughter. Her mother was an addict, who eventually passed away. He also raised Whitney, who now goes by Stevie. She is Kim's daughter, whom she had with drug dealer, who served time then died by OD, when she and Em were split. He legally adopted her and raised her as his own. Kim went on to have a son with someone else right after she and Em divorced.
Goosebumps then, goosebumps today!
Masterpiece!
i would love to see you do Leaving Heaven with Skylar Gray from Music to be Murdered by about his dad. That one also hits
Same song I listened to for my daughter when I had to deploy and be away from my baby girl.
I love your reactions bro and I think you deserve more views , just a friendly suggestion , Em is about to drop an album you might have to check that to grow your audiance in the meanwhile do some Music to be murdered by songs , like Yah Yah feat Black Thought , Unaccomodating , I Wil feat Slaughterhouse -Joe Budeen , you're missing a lot of 🔥 songs .. ❤️
I will definitely check out some of his new material on the channel!
He adopted 2 girls and his younger brother and raised 3 girls: Hailie(his only biological child), Alaina (Kim’s sisters kid who died of a drug overdose) and Whitney( Kim’s daughter from another relationship). He adopted his brother Nathan who was 16 at the time when Eminem’s mother was addicted to drugs and the state took him away. He also wrote apology songs to his mother called “headlights” and his ex wife Kim called “bad husband”.
If being a dad isn't a gift, your burden is your fault.
If you haven’t done when I’m gone do it. It also shows his vulnerability. Great story telling
Love yah Black P 👊
Dope video bro I love this. Perfect timing
Mine and my daughters favorite song i keep telling her your gonna meet him one day. I keep joking im your father anythings possible
Have you heard James Taylor and Carly Simon’s version , live, of Mockingbird? It’s so joyous.❤
I love the ending... :)
You should listen to When I'm Gone.
She's so beautiful ❤
M actually raised three daughters. Hayley is his and kids obviously but he also raised kims twin sister who passed away her daughter and also Kim had a baby with another man that he raised also.
Please look into the band Almost Kings. Hold on me is great and Bounce
See, once you see him in this light, then you look at "Slim Shady" stuff and realize it's all fake and fun and he's not the "bad boy" we love. Time and place for everything but just know, they will not cancel Slim Shady, Eminem or Marshall Mathers because he's smarter than they are...he poked fun at himself in Houdini. Can't do nothin. Brilliant. Love him forever. ~Gen X Grandma
Can we react to Eminem 25 to life it’s another Impactful song
not sure if anyone mentioned it in the comments, but when hailie get crowned homecoming queen because he didnt want to take attention away from her!
You should look up castle and rose
That's what real MF's are here to do.🤘😎🤘
He adopted two other girls and raised them as his own he walked one of the other girls down the isle too
Damn homie,3 years being tuned into your channel and this is by far my favorite vid, real is real ....that was some real ish for more reasons than you mentioned
I'm 10000% a stan, but there's some tracks of his that don't do it for me 🤷♂ it don't make me any less of a stan, I don't get some Em fans saying everything he's made is perfect, like stfu. Even Eminem himself hates some of the things he's released, but he keeps trying to better no matter what, the guy keeps pushing, that to me and his lyricism is what makes him the GOAT in my opinion. If you can't accept you've made mistakes, or you've done bad then you just have no room for growth
Kim just got lost . She started out with good intentions. I feel bad for how her life turned out.
Please can you react to Eminem “King Never Die” 🙏🏼
🎉
Would you please react to When I’m Gone 🔥 also another classic, thanks.
❤❤🙏🙏
U should do haileys song
I have a friend who’s cousin was friends with Marshall when they were teens
Lets get it
he also has stevie. his "love"child but still took her in as well. 3 kids total
Stevie isn’t his love child she’s Kims from another relationship.
