Thanks for doing this one: Eminem is such an interesting artist in the sense that he provides an intimate view into his life because he is honest as a person. He's gone on record, song and interview, to air out every mistake, fault and issue he's had in the last 30 years of making music. He's always said he's a dad first and a rapper second, and this song is a good encapsulation of that to a tee. This isnt so much a reaction request (though I'd love to see it as one) but Eminem put a small piece talking about his drug addiction issues on Juice World's album that I think you might have some interesting thoughts on. Its basically an interview compilation where he talks about how he was at the time and what happened with his attitude. His best friend was killed in a shooting, his on-off relationship and constant touring was hard on him and he developed a pill addiction for stuff like sleeping. ruclips.net/video/dNtrKtQXk3Q/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Thank you so much for your great and refreshing way to run your reactions! I actually already LOVE your channel!!! Found it today, and I can't wait to see more of your content! In my opinion the best way to understand Em, is to go through everything he ever spoke about and rapped that got recorded in chronological order, to see through all aspects of his topics in his music and see how he progressed lyrically through the years... and YES!!! the further thought time you will go, the more you will see more and more wordplays, metaphors and lyrical intricacies, but syllable- rhyme- and rhythmical progression in his music!!! That was happening in general in Rap, but in his specific case it will really help to show you what makes him such a genius and a unique artist!!! And by the way, you can just go on exactly like this. It's YOUR channel, and you should be just yourself and behave in the way you feel most comfortable with😉 Do not think you have to compromise your honesty or originality or anything else because of the bulls*it some dumb asses comment on your videos... Em can make you laugh, cry, feel disgusted, anger. joy, amazement, pride, give you courage, etc etc etc. He can invoke any emotion he wants out of people. he's 1 in a billion.
The joy of Eminem, or one of them, is his complexity as an artist. Hes not just a battle rapper, hes not just a funny shock rapper, hes not just a gangster style rapper, hes not just political or making social commentary, he gives us his human sides too. His soft spots. It really has helped and continues to help generations of people
I love that you allowed yourself to display your raw emotional response. This song really does hit you right in the feels ( especially if you're a parent)
Some background *#Eminem* has his biological daughter hailie who he had with his wife *Kim. Laney* is his ex-wife *Kim's* twin sisters daughter who *#Eminem* adopted because his sister-in-law & husband got into drugs. Who both ultimately died at separate times over the years after that. He also has a third daughter he adopted when he remarried *Kim* which lasted about a year. But when they got remarried she was already pregnant by somebody else & instead of saying take this other guy's child with you (which was around a year old) He kept her & raised her as well.

Welcome to the realm on Em... A master story teller, he shines light on his darkness. It makes a lonely world relatable, and make it seem less lonely. An image of hope and recovery, being able to stand back up after the world gut punches you. After becoming a father alot of his songs hit differently.

Its crazy how even over a decade later you can still feel such a connection to this song and the people involved. Im not a parent myself, but ive been there for my mom comforting her when she didnt have enough money to get my brother and i presents for Christmas. It breaks my heart to see parents trying so hard for thier children yet life just keeps knocking them down. And i think Eminem did a great job Conveying the feelings of both the parents perspective and the childs perspective with this song.
When he said "Lainey, Uncles crazy aint he? Yeah but he loves you girl and you better know it" He's talking to his wifes daughter from another man. Who he later adopted. He also adopted another daughter, who is his ex wifes sisters daughter. He always references Hailey because that's his blood related daughter, but a lot of people don't know he raised 3 little girls. (into very successful women).
As foster parents my husband and we have a love hate relationship with this song. It hurts but it makes us remember why we foster these children.. so they can sleep without fear, eat without any judgement, and live a happy life. We are going to adopt a little boy, he is 8, he has been thru his mothers divorce, he was given to us when she was imprisoned for drugs.. he is not our blood but god has made him our child.. and he will never see abuse or a hand in his face again.. If you know anything about Em then you know that this comment is bullcrap, he was extremely selfish during a big part when fame first hit him, and he put his family second and drugs and fame first, I give you one point though, he did clean up and get his shit together and learned from his mistakes.

thank you for appreciating the song. Whether or not you like eminem, there's always something that you can connect to in his songs, especially the ones where he talks about his struggles.
Randomly seen this scrolling after listening to other reaction channels I follow, but this type of reaction is something I haven't seen, from a person who's in tune with their emotions and fully breaking down each verse, new subscriber here👏
First time here 😊 I relate to this song a little it makes me cry everytime cuz his music always comes from the heart and it tells his story and i enjoyed ur reaction keep up the great work 👍🏽🎉 & also ignore the hate comments people on the Internet nowadays get mad over the dumbest things it just shows how immature they are
That video was great, ignore the haters. Please react to 'When I'm Gone' by Eminem, it reveals more about his personal life and struggles as a working parent
Im appreciative of this stirring video 7:08 Freya, a genuine and maternal reaction. It reiterates and reminds us that life is deeply nuanced. Your child could be going through it video taping every occurrence with their eyes, digesting the good, the bad, and the ugly. The parent struggles but their job is to discern their children’s surroundings and prepare to safeguard. This reaction evoked memories & reminded me of my mother & me!
Great reaction i know that feelings😢 First time i listen to the song while working at the warehouse 1 minute pass had to pause the video had to rush to the bathroom because a tear came out of my eye. 😅
Thank you so much for the suggestion and for spending some time here on the channel! Much appreciated. "Bad Husband" - got it. Officially on the list! Thank you, truly!
You really connected with this. Your reaction game is top tier. React to "Cleaning out my closet" (diss to mom) followed by "Headlights" (apology to mom)
Thank you for making this day a bit brighter! I appreciate you taking time to check out the channel, for hanging out with me for a bit and for your suggestions (officially on the list!) It's y'all that will keep me going on this channel! Much appreciated!
I could be wrong here but if I remember correctly he has one biological daughter (Hailey) then he also adopted Kim's sisters kid (Lonnie. Not sure the spelling) that Kim was raising for her sister who has/had issues with drugs. Then he I think (and this is the one I am unsure/unclear about and may be wrong about) also adopted a kid Kim had with another guy while they were separated one time. And then he also adopted his much younger brother/half brother (I think his name was Ben? But I am not sure). He is a very caring and responsible man. He is also a very honest and introspective man and is unafraid on telling how he feels in his music he shares most things about himself in his music good, bad and ugly.
this is a song that really hit home to me my parents were broke when i was a kid. i lived in the ghetto of denver our nieghborhood was called the knife and gun club by the pd. drive bys in our hood atleast once a month. my dad was never home cause he was a long haul truck driver. i was beat up being one of few white kids in school. later in life we moved out of that place and back to a smaller town my dad graduated high school. but from my freshman year on my dad was always home took another job to watch me play sports or take me fishing, hunting, i understand now about to turn 40 myself my dad made alot of sacrificing for the family and tell this day my dad is here for me. LOVE YOU POPS
Eminem Stans are crazy n there are a lot of them me included im sorry lol but there are good stans out there. idk why they would hate on your last reaction it was great, u vibed out to the GOAT. Another great reaction to Eminem keep it up :)
People are only hating cause you can show real true emotion and aren't afraid to do so. Keep up the good work. Like most things the more of these you do the easier it becomes. 🙂
It's your content it's your channel make it how you want to and those who don't like it can choose not to watch or fast forward don't need to go out of your way to make a timestamp they can find it on their own
Enjoyed your reaction.. he's a great artist. Seems like he's unafraid to explore all of his emotions and put them into words then put those words to music. Incredible talent and hard work and dedication. One word of advice for you since you seem pretty emotionally open and affected by music... don't ever listen to his song called "Kim" from his 2nd major album.. it's truly terrifying
Looks like your channels been up a little over a month it will change you'll get the hang of it you'll take constructive criticism and you ignore haters and you'll put your own little twist on it
Thank you! Hope you got to check out that reaction. Wow...I mean, that song STILL sticks with me. They all do so far at least. Just at a loss really...
This is one of his deepest songs he wrote a yeah it got me tears up when I first listened to it, but it definitely powerful messages this when he tries to open up his verbally he can be as person in his personal life it very great song 🎵 ❤️
It is an amazing song. So powerful and deep and...just everything. Thanks for hanging out a bit. Hope you get a chance to check out the other reactions that are up now! Much appreciated!
Idk why you even get hate like that, music should bring people together plus you are just reacting to something you are interested in. There is a lot of learning with understanding lyricism, double entendres or even tripple. Rhyme schemes, inner rhyming. Take your time and the good comments will guide you as well! Great reaction!
7:47 i know this all too well. I had a very abusive traumatizing childhood, at the hands of my step dad, and my real dad wasn't around. It has made me very empathic and connected to children, especially children without the proper foundation that they need and deserve. My abuse and trauma has messed me up permanently for the rest of my life. Im very mentally ill to the point of being disabled permanently, and ive become a borderline alcoholic. I hope that never, ever happens to any other child and I'll always do anything in my power to protect kids.
This is a very difficult song to listen to the older it gets. Its also part of the reason emjnem is universally known. This song sounded amazing and meant something different(check out When Im Gone if you havent. Youll cry) when i was younger and listening to it now has a whole new meaning.

Don't worry about what people say. You are a beautiful person. I for one want to hear what you have to say. Just do you and as eminem would say "put a finger on each hand up" and forget about it.
Don’t worry about the negative in the comment section. You do all the talking you want that is the point of a reaction is to see your reaction and thoughts about what you are reacting to. If people don’t enjoy that they can watch the original material and not reaction. You are doing great.
I think this was one of those songs that sparked the "But Mum, you don't listen to him! if you'd just LISTEN to him!" argument as a teenager, about why it was Ok for me to listen to Eminem hahah... I don't think I really "got it" back then, but whatever it was I "felt it". (Re: internet hate, I've seen the most elegantly spoken, well informed, intelligent opinions given out in reactions and they still get hate for it. You can never win, you can only learn to ignore. Best of luck with channel!)

Hi there, just found your channel and love your honest opinion on his songs (the Deadpool tops are awesome too) I'm on a reaction binge. Thats why Eminem is an extraordinary artist. No drugs no bullshit. To raise his children properly was his biggest goal
If you know anything about Em then you know that this comment is bullcrap, he was extremely selfish during a big part when fame first hit him, and he put his family second and drugs and fame first, I give you one point though, he did clean up and get his shit together and learned from his mistakes.
I’ve got to say I’ve seen multiple reactions to this and yours is by far 💯 the most pure when it comes to emotions..I’ve always got a tear in my eyes every single time I hear this song a beautiful reaction and also my first with you..keep it up and if you haven’t yet react to Eminem - When I’m gone
Thank you so much for that! I did get a chance to listen to When I'm gone. Hopefully you get a chance to check that one out. Wow!
It's YOUR channel, and you should be just yourself and behave in the way you feel most comfortable with😉
Do not think you have to compromise your honesty or originality or anything else because of the bulls*it some dumb asses comment on your videos... I'm really enjoying getting a glimpse into your thoughts and feelings about these songs!
PEACE AND LOVE FROM SWITZERLAND ❤️✌️❤️
I always tear up listening already and your reaction just adds lol, but lmao the end is my favorite part, like yo I'll do whatever if you fk with my fam
Most people listen back to the ending, whole song is a message. This one hits differently for me never knowing my father and not having kids. He actually does sing in "Hailey's song",definitely worth checking out if you already haven't. Great video!
Beautiful reaction❤❤
Isn’t it crazy how the same person that wrote “Kim” also wrote “Mockingbird”? Em’s talent and ability to adapt and grow is incredible.
100%
My first time watching…I don’t have the nerve to even have a Facebook…I’ll watch it…it came out when I was in highschool
The way you speak kind of slower and seem very open and understanding, along with your furniture in the background seem like im at a therapy session 😁 great reaction, love that you are doing this! Keep it up😊
thank you for appreciating the song. Whether or not you like eminem, there's always something that you can connect to in his songs, especially the ones where he talks about his struggles.
Absolutely loved your reaction. I hope you have a great day! ❤
Loved your reaction 😊❤keep it up🎉
Thank you so much
Randomly seen this scrolling after listening to other reaction channels I follow, but this type of reaction is something I haven't seen, from a person who's in tune with their emotions and fully breaking down each verse, new subscriber here👏
Thank you so much for being here! Much appreciated
Love your reactions... You get into the feels... Subbed!
Wonderful reaction video ma'am. Respect and prayers from Pakistan.keep doing you and we are here for you.🙏
Thanks so much! Very much appreciated!
This reaction evoked memories & reminded me of my mother & me!
awesome. Excellent as i expected, keep it up 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Eminem writes with his soul, untouchable
Thank you for your reaction.
Stay strong and keep pushing.
Hugs from Brazil.
Thank you so much!!
Great reaction i know that feelings😢
First time i listen to the song while working at the warehouse 1 minute pass had to pause the video had to rush to the bathroom because a tear came out of my eye.
😅
Please do “bad husband” it’s similar to this but it’s basically an apology to his ex wife Kim.. you won’t be disappointed 😊
Your reactions are beautiful. Amazing
Thank you so much!! And thanks for hangin out with me a bit!
Really loved your reaction. New sub here. Hate often overshadows the compliments, but nothing but love from me. Please keep the Eminem coming :) ❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate you being here and taking some time to comment. Much appreciated.
Love the reaction ❤. More please 🙏.
this is a song that really hit home to me my parents were broke when i was a kid. i lived in the ghetto of denver our nieghborhood was called the knife and gun club by the pd. drive bys in our hood atleast once a month. my dad was never home cause he was a long haul truck driver. i was beat up being one of few white kids in school. later in life we moved out of that place and back to a smaller town my dad graduated high school. but from my freshman year on my dad was always home took another job to watch me play sports or take me fishing, hunting, i understand now about to turn 40 myself my dad made alot of sacrificing for the family and tell this day my dad is here for me. LOVE YOU POPS
top 5 favorite Em song for me and been listening from start
Eminem Stans are crazy n there are a lot of them me included im sorry lol but there are good stans out there. idk why they would hate on your last reaction it was great, u vibed out to the GOAT. Another great reaction to Eminem keep it up :)
Thank you so much for some positivity! It's folks like you that will keep me going on this whole channel thing. So very much appreciated!
Love your reactions
I found this channel by chance, Good stuff im seeing. Subscribing for sure
Very much appreciate you checking out the channel and for subscribing! Thank you, truly!
People are only hating cause you can show real true emotion and aren't afraid to do so. Keep up the good work. Like most things the more of these you do the easier it becomes. 🙂
If they are hating in the comments ignore it,I know its hard, but they still clicked and commented. Keep doing you, nice reaction.
COME BACK WHEN YOU CAN. WE MISS YOU
Haven't watched the video yet, but that is a dope ass intro 🤙
Don’t pay any attention to negative comments, you’re great !
Thank you so much for the positivity! I appreciate you!
great reaction keep them comming
Thank you very much for that! Glad to hear I'm doing something halfway right here...lol
It's your content it's your channel make it how you want to and those who don't like it can choose not to watch or fast forward don't need to go out of your way to make a timestamp they can find it on their own
Your such a sweetheart god bless you
will always love the end the most
Definitely loved that little end note too!
Looks like your channels been up a little over a month it will change you'll get the hang of it you'll take constructive criticism and you ignore haters and you'll put your own little twist on it
this song makes me cry every time I listen
F da haters u r doin Gr8👌🙏 thanks
The song when I’m gone is a good one as well
Thank you! Hope you got to check out that reaction. Wow...I mean, that song STILL sticks with me. They all do so far at least. Just at a loss really...
U seem so nice. Subscribed immediately 👍 ONE LOVE ❤️
🚬🗿🍷
You gotta do “when I’m gone” “headlights” “hailes song”
Thank you! Officially on the list! I appreciate you taking some time to check out the channel and for your suggestion!
GREAT REACTIONS 😎
I want to say so many things but I can't make sense of it all, all I'll say is that you remind me of my momma and you're a badass
Idk why you even get hate like that, music should bring people together plus you are just reacting to something you are interested in. There is a lot of learning with understanding lyricism, double entendres or even tripple. Rhyme schemes, inner rhyming. Take your time and the good comments will guide you as well! Great reaction!
Thx for the reaction hope you keep it up
Thank you. I'm in it now...I don't think there's any turning back...lol
'When you thought I wasnt looking' is a great book for some parents
Yep - they see it all. Thank you.
you doing great :) dont listen to haters
Do what you love… nothing else matters
This is a very difficult song to listen to the older it gets. Its also part of the reason emjnem is universally known. This song sounded amazing and meant something different(check out When Im Gone if you havent. Youll cry) when i was younger and listening to it now has a whole new meaning.
That intro was so cool.
Ok so I was just scrolling and saw your video and I was thoroughly impressed with you
Thank you so much! Appreciate you stopping and hangin out with me a bit! Much appreciated!
@@FreyaReacts you're welcome 😁 I actually subscribed after watching
@@stevenrandolph6798 That's awesome! Thank you!
@@FreyaReacts you're very welcome
God bless you 🙏🏼
Regardless of the camera quality, (I’m sure you’ll get an upgrade soon, find someone who can help ya it’ll be worth it) but regardless… I love how genuine you are great reaction. Keep it up I love how you actually stop and break down the video and are actually listening! You should check out When I’m Gone, Cleaning Out my Closet and the song that he made after Cleaning Out my Closet. It’s called Headlights… sorry for the long comment hope you read it.
I just checked your page and see literally the last two are Cleaning Out my Closet and Headlights just got uploaded. Hell yea.
Thank you so much! I hope you had a chance to check out "When I'm Gone" as well. I did do that one and...wow. I mean, just all of them really...wow.
Yeah, I'm not working with the best equipment or set up - I'm sorry about that. But, well, I'm broke af. But, I do hope to only improve and hopefully soon! Thanks for hanging in there with me! Much appreciated!
@@FreyaReactsI missed this, but hell yea. I’ve been catching up on all of the videos. No need to apologize love. If I knew anything about making RUclips videos I’d love to help you figure it out financially but hell I don’t know where to start either.
One thing I know tho is these Eminem reaction pages really have a chance to blow up. The Eminem “Stans” will never leave you hanging!
@@jamesj1398 Thank you so much! I've already been surprised at the number of folks who genuinely want or like to help explain things to me. It's folk's liike y'all that''ll keep me going here! Much appreciated!
Don't worry about what people say. You are a beautiful person. I for one want to hear what you have to say. Just do you and as eminem would say "put a finger on each hand up" and forget about it.
Thank you so much! For the comment and the smile that made me think back to that line!
This reaction is great 👍 keep up the good work 👏
Thank you so, so much!
Don’t worry about the negative in the comment section. You do all the talking you want that is the point of a reaction is to see your reaction and thoughts about what you are reacting to. If people don’t enjoy that they can watch the original material and not reaction. You are doing great.
Thank you!
Em is my 🐐
I think this was one of those songs that sparked the "But Mum, you don't listen to him! if you'd just LISTEN to him!" argument as a teenager, about why it was Ok for me to listen to Eminem hahah... I don't think I really "got it" back then, but whatever it was I "felt it". (Re: internet hate, I've seen the most elegantly spoken, well informed, intelligent opinions given out in reactions and they still get hate for it. You can never win, you can only learn to ignore. Best of luck with channel!)
I could def. see those types of arguments happening. Funny how in my house I can already feel it turning into..."But, son...you just need to LISTEN to him." Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for checking out the channel. Much appreciated!
I need a Doctor is another great one
Hi there, just found your channel and love your honest opinion on his songs (the Deadpool tops are awesome too) I'm on a reaction binge.
Just one small request, would to be able to enable the auto captions on your videos?
I'm hearing impaired and sometimes struggle to hear what people are saying on their reactions.
Other than that, keep doing what you do, you are doing great. Sending love and peace from UK.
Thank you so much! So glad you're finding some good in what I'm doing here. I thought I had captions enabled but, let me be sure. I also think maybe I just need to talk louder, lol. That may be why auto captions are not generating. I'll get it sorted. Sorry about that.
YOUR HONEST REACTIONS ARE PRICELESS. SHOWS TRUE HUMANITY COMING FROM YOUR HEART & SOUL.❤️💐💃🫂💯
Good reaction!!
Naah! Dont give haters the attention they so desperately crave. They're just unhappy with themselves, you do you. Keep slaying! PS Eminem is the truth!
Thank you so much for that! I appreciate you taking a minute to show some positivity!
And, yes, I am certainly discovering that quick, fast, and in a hurry! lol.
Much appreciated!
New subscriber here, loved it!
Thanks for the sub! Much appreciated!
great reaction.
Thank you so much! Glad I'm doing something right here!
