Chinese Arts and Crafts: Yixing Clay Teapot

As one of the most collectable antiques, purple clay teapot looks to further increase in the auction maket. And the works of renowned masters are even too precious to be bought. Since the Ming Dynasty, the craft has been passed down for over 500 years till now in the Dingshu county, Yixing, Jiangsu province. So why is the purple clay teapot so expensive and what is valued among the craft? Maybe the craftsman have something to talk about.
