- Among the zisha pot devices, the four-sided transmission furnace (also known as transmission furnace, four-legged pig) combines high production technology, cultural connotation in one.
The shape of the pot belongs to the Zisha square ware light goods category, Laozi said, "The great elephant is invisible, the great ingenuity does not work". The ultimate of a pot is to see the temperament. Among the pots made by Yu Guoliang, a famous pot artist in the late Qing Dynasty and early Civil War, are the best heirlooms. Many famous artists have also made this model, so let's enjoy different versions of this pot today.

This looks so relaxing i wish there was a workshop where i could try it myself
you dont need a workshop . just some clay and a knife and ruler .
Gracias por su apoyo❤️😘
truly amazing craftsmanship. i now understand why this tea ware is so expensive.
Stunning craftmanship
Thank you for your support❤️😘
Wow amazing thanks for sharing
Stunning! 😍
So beautiful
This one could've been twice as long. Very enjoyably.
Watching this process didn't quite take my breath away , but it's very interesting and Cool
Beautiful work. I have a few of these delightful teapots (sold to me as cheap ornaments), in use everyday - to me teabags are the devil’s work, it is much more pleasurable to use the loose leaf. One of the pots makes a gurgling sound as it pours - always makes me smile.
Just don't use music, just have the real ambient sounds.
No. 👌🏼
Makes me think of this RUclipsr that does resin sculpting idk why but I find them using this music as a violation. Like it’s his theme music alone. Yeah I know that’s dumb.
Music is the real ambient sound. Your request is satisfied. 🙂
Hate the music too but hey, it's their channel. Someone else will make one without music.
WOW 💗💗💗💗
It's a really interesting and fun video
I saw it very interesting!
Super 👍
❤️😘
Mis respetos, un trabajo espectacular.
Que cara bom.
Greetings to you from Egypt 💥💥💥💥💥💥

Beautyful work. Please show fired item as well❤

Then what happens? there's a kiln stage, right? what does it look like after the kiln?
Why is called Purple?
👍
The most satisfying and calming video that I have seen for a long time. Mesmerising
Beautiful! Why is it called purple sand though?
Yellow was patented
The ancients believed in the myth of the stars, the Purple Wealth is honored, the high official's court dress to be called "purple", the cave of the gods to bring the "Purple House", the emperor's palace place is "Forbidden City", and purple hair, purple sandalwood, purple mink, etc. is also a symbol of status, Purple sandalwood, purple sable, etc. is also a symbol of status, so the purple became a representative of respectability.
@@Yunica520 That's awesome! Thanks for replying. 😊
So it’s not actually purple, just called that because purple is an impressive color?
oh good, I thought I was yellow/purple colourblind for a minute there!
Let me guess, it's a sacred art form that takes 10 years to perfect and only the true masters of teapot crafting are permitted to make and sell these for tens of thousands of dollars after two weeks of work maximum.
Sir, you are right, if the same master and apprentice make the same teapot, the master's teapot will sell for several times more than the apprentice. It is the same as the celebrity effect.
That means it’s not a teapot - it’s art. Depends on who made it 😊
Considering time, materials, energy costs to fire the ceramic, and yes, the time it takes both to learn and to make something with actual quality and value, I think the three-digit cost for something like this is justified. If you want mass-produced crap that'll break under serious use, go to the supermarket and get what you pay for. I'm more interested in this.
The first ten years, you will still be swiping floors and do dishes😅
The video shown is crafted with mould we call it 半手工(half handmade) which will b cheaper n more affordable n r usually wat commoners goes for.
It is up to u to choose. Full handcraft r usually for collection.
It would be baked after this, right?
Tem certeza que é areia roxa? Acho que é ocre.
If every single piece is made with a mold, and then you perfectly fit the molds together with a collar…. Is it hand made? I’d say no.
When does the purple happen?
Jigs for traditional Japanese pottery?
*Acho que eu Tava Brincando?*
I think I've gone color blind.
How to by ?
🫡🥹
Fabulous but why purple ❤
The ancients believed in the myth of the stars and the Purple Wealth was honored, the court dress of high officials was called "Purple Cloth", the cave of the gods was called "Purple House", the place of the emperor's palace was "Forbidden City", and purple hair, purple sandalwood, purple sable, etc. were also status symbols, Purple sandalwood, purple sable, etc. is also a symbol of status, so the purple became a representative of dignity
So what happens next? It has to go in a kiln or something? 🫖🤔
WHY you have the mold use slip
Absolutely beautiful 👌🥰🙏
Thank you for your support❤️
Absolutely beautiful. The clay looks almost luxurious. Absolutely beautiful work. ❤️
I just bought a sutra tea pot, can anyone explain to me the significance of the pots in Chinese tradition? it felt special the second I picked it up.
The color of this teapot is what made me stop and take a look. It was just last week when I went into a thrift shop and a square teapot, same exact color and style was up for sale for $2.99. No, I didn’t buy it because I told myself I was just going to browse, and not buy anything. All I can say it that whoever gave up this same style teapot and this color gave up a work of art!!!
Go back and get it!
It was nothing like this one then. This color is the color of the raw clay. It changes after firing process, besides, there was probably glaze on the one you saw and what you see was the color of the glaze. And if it was that cheap, it was a mass-produced moulded teapot imported from a poor country.
she only talked about color, how can you be so sure it's not the same thing, and she said it was in a thrift shop, so it's common to have valuable stuff that was given away at a cheap price, because the people who tag the pieces don't necessarily know the value of the items
Yes the purple is so vivid
On the other hand, it could have just been a mass produced fake based on the design here. If they can make fake electronics that look exactly like the original, surely they can make fake teapots that look like artisanal ones.
I have done a little pottery in my life. and from my limited experience I would expect the the seem to crack during the burn or maybe even during drying. It sure looks nice and tidy though.
Hi yunica. If it's one thing I really love in this world is a good crafts manship. the time. the effort. and love you put into you craft really shows. you've definitely got me on your channel that's for sure. Thank you for sharing your gift to the world much appreciated. from 🇬🇧 an old cockney gal 👍😄
Mary Fletcher, thank you very much for your encouragement and I will continue to work on it. We might make great friends.❤️😘
@@Yunica520 my name is Marie not Mary. every one needs a friend no matter how far apart we are. I'd like very much thank you. catch you on the flip side by by for now. from 🇬🇧 an old cockney gal 😄👍👍❤️ and 🕊️
This is amazing. Usually pottery video sjust keep showing the same techniques as all the other pottery videos. There's a bunch of tools and techniques I've never seen before. Thank you! BTW, how did you create the plaster mold? What material was used to make the shape it was cast from?
most likely a clay original. Traditionally a clay original is made, and a plaster cast taken. then a plaster model is cast from that mold and kept safe, so that the plaster cast can be repeated as they do not last long when being used often
nowadays 3d printing is often used for originals
@@willfarquhar8550 Thanks Will :)
Instead of using generic and repetitive music, consider using the actual audio from your footage. Great teapot!
That clay is so purple. Its the most purple thing I've ever seen.
yup it's SO purple that's it's FUCKING EGG PASTA YELLOW!!!
@@Shizn0id 😱 this is the truth of the universe ☝️
I had read somewhere that the dull golden colour of the teapot becomes purple either when bleached or exposed to sunlight.
Yes because it needs to be FIRED for that .
And we all think machines just pop pop pop those things out of a production line without much hand labor. 😬
Que habilidade!! Maravilhoso! Parabéns!!
Where is the test?!!
👎
It's not only pottery, it's Art... wonderfull, thank you...
Olá sou do Brasil, esse trabalho é lindo, parabéns 🦋✌️❤️
Why were the first subtitles I saw “repeatedly beat the PURPLE clay”
Edit: is that the name of the clay or something?
👌👍 Absolument admirable ! 🌹
PURPLE? PURPLE??? That's the exact opposite color hahaha
Square teapots are utterly inconvenient. Imagine the process of washing out the used tea leaves. A good teapot is always based on rotational symmetry.
The master says to the apprentice, "what do you see here?" The apprentice replies, "i see a yellow teapot master" the master smacks the apprentice with a bamboo cane and admonishes the apprentice saying, "we are a famous purple clay teapot maker, now again, what do you see?" Again the apprentice says, "master, i see teapots made from yellow clay" with surprising quickness, the master again strikes the apprentice with the came, this time saying, "what do you see on your arm?" The apprentice then replied, "master, i see a purple bruise on my arm" this time instead of striking his apprentice, the master says to him, "when see the purple clay teapots, you will no longer see purple bruises, and only then will you be ready to begin your training."
Beautiful work. You have golden hands. That's years of training.
Hermoso video.
I waited for almost 10 minutes to see the finish product only to be blocked by pictures!
that was perfect👍
I am also filming the production process of copper teapots in handicraft workshops
If there is a mold, why don't you use liquid cast mud?
The best part is the music that relentlessly repeats until you want to shoot yourself!
Why are you using the slip cast like this? why don't you slip cast it?
E a sua esposa e so o 😅que 🤷♀️ de verdade 😊😅😮😢e o sapo 🐸 a um 🎉😂❤e não é o
Maravilhoso! E que talento o artesão tem! Parabéns 🎉❤
Muito obrigado pelo vosso apoio
@@Yunica520 vc é muito talentoso. Merece muitos elogios 👏👏👏
☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
Such a process is resplendent in opportunities to screw up everything.
I produced a video that shows how a copper pot is made and removes negative energies in the house
I went on google to search the color purple and it kept giving me the wrong answer.
This is just an imitation, the real handmade pot making process is not like this
