“Ikaris” is a great name for a bot who gives up their 4 wings and vast aerial superiority for a grounded humanoid form without so much as a Seeker’s jetpack to hunt at their alt mode.
We need Hasbro to do a collaboration, and make a Soundwave and Blaster who can fit theses cubes in their chest!
Funny, because 3P company dr wu made an unlicensed beastbox trypticon of various makes/colors. The company lucky cat made constructicons that can become cubes, robot, vehicle, or limb for fully functional devastator
I thought it would be cool if Hasbro made these as "Defendors" that could become part of a defensive wall with attachable missiles, guns and spikes ect.

Which owl species? The ones I know of are typical three claws at the front and one at the back.
The Kirin is a monster from Chinese mythology. It's most well know (at least in the west) through Monster Hunter, as there is a Elder Dragon of the same name and similar appearance
The Chinese kirin is called the chirin and the Japanese is called the kirin

I got into these guys because of Peaugh !! The Demon Dart mold is my personal favorite, they’re beetles that turn into jets !! I’ve even found a funky way to transform them into a 4 fingered hand for a combined that doesn’t exist. Highly recommend most of the boxes !!
All of 52 toys combiners are my most interests. Starting with Landbreaker which I originally thought was a evolution of the Alien mech suit but 52toys style however it was probably coincidence. What wasn't was the Landbreaker elite having a G1 constructacons color of bright green and purple, a wonderful color scheme. Deep One is incredible with it having two combined forms that I like(yes all of them can but I like Deep One's better) with a nice crawler mode and then a deep exploration one while elite has a nice green and orange with a warm hue to the white. Icarus looks nice and I'm impressed that they made two flat jets become a posable robot. Then there's a new one involving space travel and it looks really good for it's theme. However if not for these, then I want to get myself Demon Dart(a kabuto beetle), Kite Moss(a moth), Gunpowder(a bee/wasp), Reaper(mantis), White Noise, Firmhand(a wolf), and Old one(a octopus)
These toys are not for everyone but some of them like their owl can be amazing
I have the lil owl one. It's so cute!! ☺
I'm kind of glad to know that mine's not the only one that's scarily squeeky. But still, I hope it doesn't cause any problems in the long run. Like the head snapping off or something.
I also have the Panther that looks like Ravage, but I haven't opened it yet.
the quality control on these figures can be a little iffy sometimes(nothing to bad, like some having tighter joints or loser joints and what not), like my white noise, it has like no squeeky parts on it, like everything on mine is well fited, but its a fantastic collection to have, ive spent 6k on all my figures so far for beast boxes/mega boxes, i even got a shelf strickly for them, and a card binder for the beast box cards(each beast box comes with a little card, im sure you saw it with your white nosie), i love reading the little character bio 😂 im pretty close to having 1 of each beast box(some of them have repaints, like i got 3 sets of peguins, because each one is diffrent), i even ordered the brand new stuff they just released the other day(3 gold fishes)
Icarus Elite's colors makes me think of the Mave from Yukikaze, and the plane modes look like planes from that Anime.
Personally, I think Icarus looks more Evangelion than anything, with the colors and how scrawny it is (haven't seen the show itself but I have seen what the EVAs look like). Plus it doesn't have the metal explosion style that bayformers have. I also wish Hasbro would do more with the Duocon idea because there's just something cool and unique about it and that they make more characters instead of just Flywheels and Battletrap.
EDIT: after seeing the anime now, looks more like something out of the Rebuilds than the original anime with how wacky some of the Eva designs were in those
We could get the Allspark as a botcon exclusive since 52 toys is doing those now instead of Hasbro
I've been into 52toys since they started popping up on BBTS, and they're so wonderfully unique. The bugs are quite well done, and I should get those adorable penguins...
White Noise is bloody excellent though. Adorable and cool.

Really wanted to stop by and say thank you for putting me on to these. Looking at the catalogue I need some in my life.
theres so much we could get out of just a transformers collab. a soundwave that turns into most of a cube, with a laserbeak that turns into one of the really flat boxes that come sometimes, like the size of, for example, wandering stars collapsed charger box thing. and a repaint for blaster with eject or ramhorn or steeljaw or rewind. a movie allspark that turns into a movie1 optimus... the list goes on.
Die hard TF collector here..I bought the same Jet set you have and now im falling. these are GREAT quality, and FUN. good vid as always bro.
Ahh yes the "peekaboo flap" is always the most satisfying.
I got Pantera, I highly suggest you get one too, he's the best Ravage I've ever seen.
I've thought of using it as a Ravage as well. Looks so good.

kirin is a kirin, a weird japanese horse dragon
there are some bits you missed for the big robot. in the "ankle" hinge there are little fold out pegs or blocks that keep the lower legs from tabbing back into a solid mass. and there is an ab crunch that is freed by flaring out the ear flaps from Raven, the bigger plane

Been collecting figures from this company for years, absolutely love them! Definitely recommend White Noise (the owl), Firmhand or Chromeribs (wolves), Old One (octopus), or Reaper (praying mantis) for anyone interested in the line, those have been some of my favorites of the last few years. They also have a modelkit toyline called Beastdrive that has futuristic vehicles that turn into robot animal mechs, fully transformable without partsforming once built, theyre great too.
I’m addicted to these things. I have about 30 of them.
Aw yeah, love to hear a mention of old-school Bakugan in 2023
They remind me of if Transformers, Bakugan, and Zoids all decided to do the fusion dance

My first beastbox is actually demon dart because I love beetles.
I have a few of their very first figures from a few years ago. They started with a slow trickle of releases, easy to keep up with....and then BAM the floodgates broke wide open!

Also the Owl looks pretty cool! But that look of the Rapidash looking one looks sick! But wow, the Jet dude, dang!

Bro imagine if they did a collab with Hasbro and made a titan-sized figure that has worked in areas to fit the smaller cubes like in the arms, legs, chest, or the backpack and have it transform into a kind of troop transport vehicle as well as a giant cube. That would be awesome.
You mean to tell me I can get my claws on something that can transform into a box for easy storage but still have all kinds of posability and detail with way more engineering for the price of a Voyager?

Cool video. I remember like a year ago was watching reviews of these tiny things. I think it was mangmotion, maybe. Never bought one unfortunately. But i do have a weird but really cool sort of 3d party lego variant.

I find the beastboxes to be their best line personally. Things like the demondart variants, the dinosaurs and the crabs seem to be some of their best. I too like whitenoise, who has two very cool repaints not on amazon
The kirin is 1 of 5, part of a mythology group. We have dragon and are going to get tiger, so turtle and phoenix are likely down the lane. The kirins getting a unicorn repaint, though i necer transform this box in the first place lol
The megabox is getting a rebranding, so who knows where thatll go

So the kirin toy is based of just that the kirin it’s a Japanese yokai but also apart of Chinese mythology called the Qillin

There are plenty of transforming robot toys that have shows like poli robocar, its basically reacue bots but with humans and disney pixar car like characters, its cute but has rescues plots that can get pretty deep ranging from looking out for your own health to being careful of strangers which leads to the three child characters of the show getting kidnapped
There also robot trains, a pretty cool and deep first season to a adventures of sonic the hedgehog season 2 (literally the main villain of that show voice actor in season 2 is also dr eggman voice actor)
I love 52toys. I personally have their psuedo Godzilla and their getter robo. So much fun to mess with
I love these! I mostly interested in the Owl, Octopus, Horned beetle, Parrot and praying mantis Beast Box 52Toys figures

Kirin is - funnily enough - a Kirin! Also spelled Qilin sometimes. They're magical draconic horses from Chinese myth!
i got the getter robo one for really cheap. had it in my shopping cart for a while until i notice the price kept going down. original price was MYR132, bought it when it got to 35.
5:27 the thing in question resembles the Xiezhi. It is a mythological deer in China that is characterized by its one horn which it uses to stab evildoers and devour them. Oh, and didnt I mention that it has scales?
May be wrong though, it might be a Qilin for all I know.

Kirin looks like Fennekin from Bakugan.
Kyrin or however its spelled is a chinese dragon with essentially the features and body of a horse called a longma they were sort of featured in the marvel movie Shang chi
I hope they make a blue recolor of Kirin so that it's straight out of monster hunter.

BeastBox is amazing. I got the wolf, Firmhand, and painted it to be like Carnivac. I really want the flamingo.
I got Icarus for Christmas, then 2 weeks later I was moving the leg and one of the panels on the crotch shot off never to be seen again, I have the big sad.
I did hear it hit the wall though, so it probably fell into the trash heap under my bed and won't see the light of day until I move out

Demon Dart (the beetle) is one of my favorite bits of transforming plastic to come out in a long time. It looks incredible in beetle mode, has a fun and intuitive transformation, and even has a third mode. It hides the flat cube faces very well. If you didn’t already know, you’d never guess it transformed. It’s just a super cool robot bug.
White Noise (the owl) is my second favorite. Their early toys are far simpler, but they’ve come a very long way since then.
Demon Dart was the first one I got and LOVED it!
Didn't love trying to plug in the missiles though. That got annoying.

From what I have learned, there's five parties technically
First party the original manufacturer
Second party licensed but not the original manufacturer
Third party. Figures that have not been made yet better getting created with a fake name
Fourth party aka any knockoff of an official figure
And fifth party modified by the owner of the figure
Third party refers to both licensed and unlicensed products made for an IP. Three zero is as much a third party as fanstoys. However fanstoys is unlicensed and three zero is. 4th party is just a fancy term for knockoffs. And 5th party is new to me.
