- @atlus has outdone the gaming world and blown the mind of every JRPG fan on the planet by announcing THREE major releases with Persona 3 Reload, Persona 5 Tactica and Metaphor: ReFantazio. I can barely speak but here is my initial thoughts on the XBOX showcase. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

I can't wait for the Persona 25th anniversary 2.0 to end so the SMT 30th can actually start.
Atlus gotta give me more time to recover from all the money I've been giving to Falcom 😭 Persona 3 was my intro to the series and has been my favorite since then so I am too hyped for it.
Sega was the only reason to watch the xbox show
Re fantazio is definitely the one I'm excited the most for, I've been waiting years for info on it and when we finally got info its "oh yeah it comes out next year"
Archetypes are one thing I'm interested in, there kind of like personas for this game it seems and everyone seemingly can change them. The ones we've seen are theif, ninja, knight, paladin, warrior, fighter, trickster, seeker and soul hacker. If they are tied to characters or not i dont know but they max out at lvl 20.
The other big thing for me is the synthesis system which seems to work like the combo spell system in digital devil saga using multiple characters and press turns (which also seem to be here) to use spells. Really interested in that.

Not really. The persona 3 remake isn’t gonna have FES or portable content, tactics looks way too much like q2, probably just took the models. Metaphor thing has way too similar ui to persona imo. Maybe it’ll be good

@@devin8367 I agree about Tactica, but Persona 3 really made me upset. I mean, they really decided not to make the best, the ultimate version of Persona 3? Why??? But I suppose it's still better than questionable portable or unavilable fes...

I dont own an Xbox, but I gotta give Microsoft the Win this Summer. And it's only because of Atlus related official reveals, everything else they presented are crap to me. Especially that Ugly feminist looking fable crap.

PERSONA 3 RELOAD & METAPHOR HELL YEAH
To be honest, they said that they want to remake the original Persona 3 game. They will include social links and stuff from FES, but what stuff from Answer, we don't know. FeMC was always an addition portable, was never a main thing. Dancing games, anime and DLC boss fight in Persona 5 all tells you that male MC was a canon one. So yeah, even though it stinks that there is not a complete edition for everyone, I'm super hyped and fine with vanilla version.
That said, Metaphor: ReFantazio looks amazing and really excited to learn more. The way Atlus is now, their games are like Game of Year material for me.
Gonna be off the chain. Cannot wait to get my hands on it!

Dude!!! I am right here with you. I missed the showcase initially and when I looked online there were so many naysayers on Atlus. After watching the announcements, I’m just flabbergasted that people were upset about these games!!! Altus is coming in clutch! OMG! I am beyond stoked!! There is a reason I am a SEGA and Atlus fan. They will always know quality!!!

Yeah it's pretty wild. after Soul Hackers 2 I kinda got pretty gutted by the hate train campaigns. So irrationally excited tho man! Can't wait!
Not only is it a great time to be an Atlus fan but a jrpg fan in general! I've watched all the showcase (and there were a lot of them and it's not over yet) and so many rpg games have been announced that it's starting to get intimidating! Like how the hell am I ever going to be able to play all of them at the speed they're releasing them, it's completely insane! I was so happy to see Metaphor gameplay as it looks amazing! I've never finished Persona 3 so I'll be looking forward to that one! And being a tactical rpg fan that I am, P5 Tactica will be the perfect appetizer before P3 Reload releases! Great video and keep up the good work!
Yeah I can't wait to go over everything that has been announced that has me excited. It is just the absolute best time to be a JRPG fan, it is a true golden age for the genre. P3RE and Metaphor have me beyond hyped, but I'm also looking forward to P5 Tactica. It looks like it will be XCOM/Mario+Rabbids style tactical gameplay with some sort of cover system, that should be really cool too.

they can call the updated version of P3 Reload, in which they add in all the stuff they should have included, “Persona 3 Reload Full Clip” … I am conflicted as to whether I should get Reload when it comes out. I’ve only ever played P5R, which I just finished, but I really loved it and P3 is aesthetically the other one I was interested in (P4G looks like preteen kids and it makes the social/romance aspects weird to me, although I may try it still) so I was really excited to see this announcement. However, knowing their business model, I don’t know if I should get Reload right away or wait for the Golden/Royal-type rerelease. Looks great, though.

Atlus is my fav game developer! My wallet will burst into flames once all these (hopefully) get a collectors editions! Glad you're as excited as i am! Persona 3 is my favorite Persona game and is what got me into Atlus games in the first place!

Maybe it's only me but i felt disappointed when i heard they wanna remake P3 cos it's already perfect anyway. I was kinda hoping atlus would remake P1 and P2 with modern persona gameplay and graphics. I mean a lot of atlus fans still haven't played P1 or P2 for that reason. It's my personal wishlist for atlus. I always heard that P1 and P2 stories were amazing but i haven't played them for the same reason. Idk if someone felt the same.
If they use system from OG P3 which was automatic ally actions, I think a lot of newer fans are going to hate it. This isn't a sleight towards newer fans, because I was in a similar boat; I started with P4 and found a copy of P3 after and did not like how the allies died things automatically. I pre-ordered P3P back in the day because they went to manual control. P3 and P4 had a very different difficulty curve than 5, especially with the fatigue system in 3. This is a whole new ball game if they're releasing it as a base version with better graphics and UI.
After years of waiting the reveal of Re Fantasy....disappointed that red haired elf isn't the main character.
I played Persona 3 back on the PS2 and I don't think I will play Reloaded. I think what I'm going to do is get it and keep it in plastic like I did with Nocturne (my favorite) for PS4.
I think for Persona 5 tactics, they should've done something similar to Fire Emblem Engage and have characters from the entire SMT/Persona franchise.

The issue I have with OG P3 is that bloody exhaustion and how repetitive it felt (I wasn't very far in though [for the record])

i lost all interest in p3reload when I heard that it will be base game only with none of the additional content or features from FES or P3P. Why even bother with a remake like this if it's not going to be the definitive, complete version? As it is, people will still be better off emulating the ps2 or psp versions instead of playing any of the currently available versions. Persona 3 deserved better than that.
I'm stoked. I played Persona backwards from Royal to 3. So I'm really excited for to play it with a better UI and some quality of life improvements. The refreshed graphics are a nice bonus.

I am definitely thrilled about these games but Persona 1 and 2 deserve a remake because those are some of the darkest games ever also let's not forget about Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 they definitely deserve that remake

I'm like at P3 Reboot and thinking I would just want to try P3P for my first experience with the game with the female MC. Not sure I just need to wait and see when it's closer to release.

Some solid news. Although I may hold off on any of these until they end up on Playstation or the Switch (or it's successor).
But the news is cool. I'm excited to play P3 again. I didn't really play the Switch port since it was the handheld version that was lacking too much for me. But a much more robust original version of the game? I don't mind. The tactics game I probably won't play since I'm hit or miss on the spinoffs. But I might check it out. Metaphor looks cool. I'll probably play that at some point. Even if I have to give in and play it on PC or something.
Well p3 is for sure coming to PlayStation and switch per the leak. Hope the others are multiplat too
@@HallowedBeThyGame I hope they are. It would make sense for them to be. Atlus should understand at this point the power of multiplat releases. I expect P6 to be multiplat short of a major surprise.
