The detail of Krauser's shirt sleeves being ripped after his arms transforms and return to normal is a very nice touch.
Yet, his gloves are still on, which ia kinda funny it didn't get ripped like the sleeves

@@salmonoven He now apparently does a tornado kick, a wheel kick, a slash attack after shooting the knee, and a side kick after shooting the knee. The roundhouse/reverse roundhouse and knee have been replaced. But to be honest his new moves are from the same martial art anyway. Just as good.

Since Major Krauser is a Knife Master, in this mode his knife attack speed is insane and deals high damage also. Try use it often.
Also it has infinite durability. Go nuts when surrounded, then go beast mode when chainsaw goons are around
he can also dash/cartwheel backwards with s :) (ready knife + hold direction + tap attack)

Anyone notice how Krauser's ultimate move "stinger" is the same name and move as DMC Dante's lunging attack "Stinger" as well? Pretty cool detail
One of the more sneakier references in my opinion, since DMC evolved from an early build of RE4.
Only thing missing now is an Official Dante costume for Leon and we've gone full circle.
I believe Vergil also has stinger but since Vergil's and Dante's moves are mostly identical except like judgement cut and royal guard it really doesn't matter.

Krauser makes quicker work for mini bosses but in general I think HUNK is easier, I prefer his LE5 and also his spray and pray infinite ammo mode makes getting S++ a breeze

A tip: If you run out of ammo, just slash your way out with Krauser's knife. His knife combos are pretty reliable.

It was one of the best games on PS2. Now it will be one of the best games on PS5!

Krauser is such a beefy beast, even in the original but just like the remake Capcom gave us everything we wanted out of RE4 Remake.

Hunk aka *The Grim Reaper* is to much powerful in Lore to have hes own game! Capcom will never do that because they will need to invest allot of time into Hunk lore and they dont want to reveal who Hunk is! in resident evil Lore Hunk is the only guy that no one knows who he is or where he comes from!
Hunk is just the John Wick of resident Evil games!
Krauser's great fun to use in this mode, I especially like his knife fighting - but not me getting carried away and failing to notice the enemy's damage on me slowly building up :-/
This is probably my favorite mercenaries mode from the re games I love this game mode so much the enemies are a bit aggressive then the story mode but that won’t stop me from hating it

bro after playing on professional for so long i was like how the fuck am i not being one shot and swarmed by everyone at once. like why aren't they pre-attacking before i get up so i can be stun locked forever? needless to say its been great
They have to be aggressive otherwise you wouldn't be able to get as high a score bc you'd have to be running around looking for them vs them coming to you

I specifically came here to say Krauser has the best knife gameplay I've ever seen in a videogame. It's not insanely OP but it's beautifully reliable because that dash is crazy for closing the distance. You barely need to use guns at all.

I was expecting it to be like the bolt thrower, in which you could add explosives to the arrows if you wanted to, is not like I'm disappointed but i think it would have been great because i feel that the tpm is quite weak and slow to use on this mode
I feel like the explosive now fits him more in the remake but yeah It should be like a toggle of sorts for those Who wanted the more silent approach.
Personally i prefer the new krauser a lot tho, the knife Is fun as hell to use and his mayem mode Is a legit cheat code

Aww, man. I was hoping to have RE4R’s Krauser with his bow like in the original game’s Mercenaries Mode. I actually had a blast playing as him because of that.

It’s a trade off, he doesn’t get to use his bow as often as the original and his smg kinda sucks, but his new bow, new mutant ability, his melee, and his knife are much more powerful

This is quite possibly the closest we'll ever get to playing the RE4 prototype that eventually became Devil May Cry.
Krausers' knife attack is insane. He's basically Wolverine ripping enemies into ribbons out there.

Krauser maybe slimmed down from his original version 18 years ago. But damn he is a absolute savage in this incarnation damn shame they did not use the original voice actor to me he sounded more menacing.
I never thought S++ exist in Merc mode, I just finished S+ all stages with all Characters. Now this hyped than I expected.

Krauser will always be our eternal commando. In Mercenaries they could add some jumps and stunts that Krauser always does. But, that's fine.
You can perform acrobatics with Krauser, whilst you have his knife readied you can perform flips, cartwheels and dashes by tapping directions, but I haven't figure out how to use them properly yet.

What? No you can unlock everything in current version by just S+. I did them all with S+ and have everything unlocked..

I'm really glad the villages look the same/have the same route. I really love the improved look compared to the original. unfortunately, I have Xbox One X. I'm hoping they'll be able to include that system on the list one day. hopefully not too long, because this game looks epic!!

Krasur and Hunk are the most op ones so far. Once you see alot of zombies in your way you can just mow them down and gain alot of time
He’s so fun this time! I lowkey hated him in the og… he didn’t have the tmp for some reason, his bow was hard to master (you get used to it though) but in the remake he’s really a blast, gone be my most used character until wesker drops!

A character like Krauser is who I wish you played as in more Resident Evil games. We're always fighting against anf running from the monsters with superhuman shapeshifting powers, but so rarely do you ever get to PLAY as those characters.

Not only are his melees still OP, not only is he still fast, not only did they go ham on the knife combat, not only is the bow one shorter, not only did they IMPROVE on his plaga arm mechanics.......BUT THEY GAVE OUR BOY HIS TMP BACK!!!! That was legit the only thing I didn't like Abt playing Krauser in the original mercenaries was his bow was SOOOOOO SLOOOOOWWW
His bow has explosive arrowtips now, soo it looks like they made him really easy to play. Before you basically needed all headshots with the compound bow.
Facts krauser is my favorite character in resident evil. I was so pissed off when you couldn't use other weapons and was force to use slow normal arrows with him in the original, I wanted to use machine guns and explosives just like his boss fight in story mode. Glad they changed it in the remake. The tmp and explosive arrows are so much better and suits him.

He still does the kicks that we’re in the original game but it’s just one round house kick and one hook kick he doesn’t combine both into one move which kinda sucks lmao but atleast he’s got more melee moves

I was going for S+ today to unlock RPD outfit. Was dreading using Krauser then accidentally discovered he has insane abilities if you hold down space bar. Can dash and do back flips and tear through crowds of enemies. Don't even really need the TMP

I love the changes they made to this mercenaries. Doesn’t rly feel like you’re racing the clock like the og and you can just wreak havoc with ease. Just wish there is more maps / characters. It’d be cool if they added options to change loadouts / skins for each character but that’s prob wishful thinking. It would add so much replay value tho that’d be tight

Krauser is still fun to use In mercenaries but man I feel like he’s been nerfed. I hate that he can’t just use his arrows as his main weapon anymore. Now he has very limited use explosive arrows and uses a TMP in place of his normal bow and arrows.

Krauser is an absolute beast - you can easily stack up arrows if you use your knife. His knife is really the only weapon you need - I got S++ across the board with it
They only made his explosive bolts not infinite, and he's still insane, if the bolts were infinite it would be too easy (even more)
Bro nerfed? More like balanced out to match new additions to his gameplay. An infinite bow would certainly be fun, but if mixed with his new knife mechanics it would probably be broken and super OP
