Evan, I’ve been a paramedic for several years now, in a fire/rescue based system. I still find myself attracted to all of your videos. I cannot thank you enough for the continued help in my career!! Thank you!

BEFAST. Thanks. I'm an EMT in a retirement community. We do stroke assessments and glucose as a matter of protocol on every patient. I'll add balance and vision to my checklist. BTW, I recommended your channel to a friend who starts EMT school tomorrow.

I passed my NREMT a month ago and just got hired on with AMR. I start in February! Let me tell you sir, I started watching your videos before I started my class in august, and I will continue to watch your new videos and re-watch old ones throughout Paramedic school! Thank you for all the effort that you put into these videos. You are really helping make difference in peoples lives out here!

Good luck with AMR and when you start medic school. I have 33 years total in Fire/EMS and military field medicine. Finally got my NRP 2 years ago. LOVE my job.

Just took #2 NREMT-P exam. I was SUPER anxious and didn’t feel good about the exam at all. I decided to buy the Full Course for round 2. After it was said and done, I passed in 80 questions. I thought I failed because I felt the questions were WAY TOO EASY after using the NREMT ACCELERATOR.

I like that you include asking caregivers about signs. I would include Cushing’s Triad; I’ve had plenty of patients pass the BEFAST test and head up to the cath lab.

My service mandates all of us have Advanced Stroke Life Support and we use the MEND assessment. We are provided the course by the company. Once I got used to doing the MEND, I really like it. It narrows down the most likely area of effect.

The story behind the tiger; when I first started this brand I didn't have a mannequin to perform assessments so I used the tiger lol. I had a student/viewer name him "Tachy" and the rest is history part of the brand for life lol. Thanks for watching, brother!

One of the departments I'm on, is switching to the p.a.c.e. stroke scan, instead of Cincinnati scale, Because one of the hospitals wanted to go to it, so they were asking every department in the metro to use it. I have mixed feelings on it.

I passed the NREMT in 2002. I let my card run out after the first 3 years and kept my WV state card until 12/31/12. I had some back/neck issues and survived a neck surgery in ‘19. I am thinking about getting my certification back and will be using these tutorials along the way. Any suggestions would really help. Subbed!
