Hi, I have a similar problem on a b47c20a mini engine, I found the intake manifold broken and the error code 36F600, I replaced the manifold and the egr valve but the problem remains. I have the engine light on and the 36f600 error is permanent. Diagnosis performed with Autel
Hi got a 2017 218 with the same fault in limp mode done all the tests you have done and got the same outcome. As you say poss software update will clear code. Hope we all get to the bottom of this fault.
So what’s the problem of this? I got same thing there’s no leaks anywhere done so many tests and also I’ve done a remap to it afterwards I’ve done. Dpf egr and swirlflaps delete and it’s still same thing doesn’t go more than 3K revs and without starting car the fault comes straight away 36f400
You are not full time at the garage now? I missed something. You said you have different job? Had bmw yesterday. Broken wire finding 2 days chalange 😂 Happy weekend!
Tell me about it mate , it’s a nice feeling when you finally find the broken wire tho, very rewarding 👍. Yeah I’m not full time at the garage anymore , I’ve got a young lad sort of starting working during the day there and I try to help him as much as I can, this BMW for example is one of his customer. Meanwhile I’m working for a Toyota dealership more industrial stuff most EV as a field engineer.
MAF figures all ok , Intake air temp ok. Going through the control structure with ISTA , EGR , swirl flap , Air Intake valve etc nominal values and actual values spot on . Vehicle now fixed part 3 soon. 👍
I have fixed one just like this.
What was the problem can you explain please.
Where was the problem? Thanks
