It gives this "business as usual" for a vampirekiller or a "here we go again" start of a trekked adventure. Nostalgia for what Castlevania is, is at the core of this theme.
piratesephiroth game has awesome music, high difficult level (for good), the card system is super fun to use and it was an overall achievement for being a 1st gen GBA game. I don't see how it could be catalogued as one of the "worst".

Ah, nice arrangement for the central area of the castle. That extra part kept this tune alive with every new visit to these sections.

This Theme Castlevania Legacy of Darkness version is more good than this version. This is also good but that one is most likely.

this song first came out for Castlevania bloodlines on the Sega Genesis. Circle of the Moon's version can't hold a candle to the original sorry.
COTM version is an improvement over the Genesis one, it features a new section while respecting the original lol
