This is a crypto game ppl want to see it make them money. If you are talking about playing a game for pure fun Illuvium in this current state would not even make the top ten games on steam in terms of bought or played. When you realize that you talk about gaming for fun alone then you are then competing against the entire gaming market as a whole. As far as NFT's go they are starting to look like this cycle unless something drastically changes NFTS will continue to plummet in value and by the top of the bull run they might be a touch more valuable than they are now but will never achieve the monetary value they had last bull run.
Yes it's not ready as a purely fun game. If you compare it to opening a packet of Pokemon cards it definitely is but against something like Pokemon or Palworld it's not there yet. That being said a new game mode called gauntlet is coming which will be really similar to tft and not need nfts. Let's hope that's fun!
@@Scoriox Thats great to hear..I am looking forward to trying out gauntlet and I still have very high hopes this can develop into a really stellar game. Thank you for all your hard work on these videos. Very fun, entertaining and informative
@@Scoriox You can't compare it to opening a pack of Pokemon cards as if you come across a dark holo, you've still got to catch it. Illuvium Beyond is Pokemon Cards but Overworld Illuvials are gated by skill/effort (which are the classic characteristics of any game played for fun). Which means it needs to be a fun game for people to want to play it enough to catch a rare illuvial.

Thanks tsg for coming on and keep scoriox in check 😋
:O
Gauntlet needs a hardcore ranked mode that requires only illuvials you catched
I am not sure how that would fit into the ruleset, but if it can be incorporated, I agree with you.
Will we lose all our items and illuvials on the 01/07 with the preseason 2 ? Thx all
Preseason 2 U shouldn't lose anything
love to see you break out info on new land play when you have it...and land still looks cheap to me
Land is definitely in undervalued zones. It looks pretty hype
16:05 this is gonna be way harder to implement than we would think
Not sure what you are talking about exactly? Banning players?
