well done Scoriox, the chrome extension is an awesome value add. 💯 agree with Sam Illuvium should of been able to outsource this as he mentioned in previous videos. Sam, thank you for your time and I hope the team listens to you, I enjoy your points of view.
I agree with the point you guys made - the game has to be fun and free to play with the option to collect the NFTs. Once web2 players are hooked on the gameplay, they will willingly want to own their own assets.
I dont know how the people can still think in Quests + Overworld mini features will help to growth the player base.. players like to compete..to climb the leaderboard.. to try to be at top etc... imagine adding more quests and more time to progress in the game less players will play for sure.. players in 2024 dont have much time, players base is sadly a low numbers because of some mistakes like: Good Hardware to play so you put out of the equation a lot of players and also you are going to keep getting out the player who dont have time to go for npc/quests in Overworld... Overworld just has to be the place where you farm your team to compete in the 100 modes that we have on Arena. If you dont want to go to OW you paid a team in illuvidex and you start competing with other players. But here we are standing in a position where everything is unknown about the deadlines. Priority should be the Leaderboard and rewards, rework the airdrop points to focus on 1 mode from Arena and be seasonal Like. Season 3 - Gauntlet Awake Season 4- Arena Leviathan Arises So all the small player base goes to 1 mode instead in playing all modes and getting loss in the Illuviverse. So many mistakes but im still here thinking in this game could be a great one in terms of competitive, because if it was for RPG/Fun You should look for another one. Just a feedback from someone that have 700hours grinding Illuvials in Overworld
Couldn't agree more. The Overworld is complete, it does a specific job. We now need to enhance the other games so that capturing Illuvials has meaning.
I believe that Illuvium's problem is chronic, and has already been seen in other NFT games. It needs to implement a rotation model for equipment, Illuvials, and resources in tournaments. Because those with low investment know that they will never invest the amount necessary for tournaments, and those who have already invested and are participating do not feel the need to renew, change, or even evolve what they already have. Because there is no reason for this to happen. A game that changed this masterfully was Axie Infinity. When they realized the same problem that Illuvium has now, they implemented tournaments with rotation of items and Axies. Simple as that.
Giving $ILV to players everyday for playing PVP like in Parallel or Gods unchained will feel like a play to earn, I understand the idea of doubling down towards the Web3 gaming aspect but it will make shifting our attention towards Web2 gamers more difficult once it will be the right move I agree that we should focus on Leviathan but careful with going too far in the financial direction
I get where you are coming from but I am not sure I entirely agree. There's a large cohort of people who play games like Hearthstone or TfT and want an accessible way to become a part of Esports. I see competitive Play to Earn as a bridge to this, something semi-pro players do not have right now.
I actually built 90% of it before they dropped o1. And it couldn't quite fix my bug. But had I have started over I think o1 would have nailed it first try unlike 4o
If the game is good, people will market it for you. Palworld did 0 marketing. Tons of great games ive played have had 0 marketing affect on me, the best form of marketing is word of mouth, which is obtainable with 11/10 gameplay, marketing anything less than an 11/10 is a waste anyway because of retention.
We could start with deleting the Training Survival and casual ascendant modes. Nobody needs them, and the airdrop rewards for 5 survival training mode matches are just annoying.
"Nintendo and its partner The Pokémon Company have filed a legal case against the maker of the hit survival adventure game Palworld over alleged patent infringement. Just days after the game's release in January this year, The Pokémon Company said it would investigate the copycat claims. Comparing to Pokemon isn't an issue, lots of games do. The issue is when u literally steal Pokemons identity in every facet of your games design identity.
Why do people think Illuvium combat is a good idea? Palworld is already dead, and I doubt Illuvium will manage to create something better in just six months.
Thanks for the questions, Sam, I feel like you're the voice of the people sometime.
Yeah he knows hahah :P

I am glad my extension was helpful :)

They really will yep

you need a load screen, possibly with timer and outro music so it doesn't cut you off (y)
Does it cut me off? Rip. Okay I will keep that in mind
Thanks for the vid!
No problem at all Rhys

Definitely would be a great value add
Scoriox dropping the F bomb at 38:08!

Not my greatest day

this could be seen as similar to battle passes in web 2 but instead of skins you get tokens to buy skins, it just has to be presented right

@@Scoriox I think that Leviathan rewards are enough to fulfill this purpose and this system doesn't exist in Hearthstone/TFT as far as I know
Did you use the O1 version of Chat GPT to build your chrome extension?

At least remove the airdrop reward for this modes. While people do these matches for the airdrop they are missing for other game modes.
Yeah the airdrop incentives are wildly misaligned.

Palworld was a game with an end and not focused on replayability as far as I know, I've heard that PVP sucked
I never tried the PvP, maybe I should investigate
Palworld was a different genre entirely. I'd say the Palworld combat helped it go viral and get attention, still valuable.
Where is that video? Could you guys post a link?
Which video sorry?
