It needs *1980s* Michael Biehn. They could do like they did in Tron Legacy with Jeff Bridges. Or, if they go the veteran way, they could acknowledge that Rex Colt in 2007 looked the same as Michael Biehn in 1987, so they could use the 2014 Michael Biehn to make a distant sequel set in 2034. And they could even use the distant sequel, together with a time travel plot, to explain exactly why the 2007 of Blood Dragon is different than the real 2007. How to explain that? Why, with a lot of explosion and special effects, of course!
I think there is another one called Hobo with a shotgun, yeah it's called that. the guy who made it worked closely with people who made the blood dragon game and were planning to two of the villains from the film called the plague to the game but didn't. anyway it's sort of 80's like homage movie with bits of synthwave music in it.
I didnt want to say this but this was way better than the corridor digital video. The color correction was spot on I would love to see how you achieved the 80's sci fi look I just cant seem to replicate it.
