    thanks for sharing, i have got my mechanic to install new front bilstien shocks and springs, control arms etc, cant afford to do the rears at the moment, i think mine are b4? i hope they will be an improvemnet to the original 19 year old ones, really enjoyed the video, did you need to sort any of the 'tracking' alignment etc?

    I’ve just had the B12’s fitted myself however had real issues with 15mm rear and 12mm front spacers; they caused the tire to rub on the outer edge against the wheel arch and they sent the car into complete spasm by making it feel very bouncy and seesaw over bumps… very odd. Did you add your spacers back? How did you manage spacers before? For ref, I have the 650i

      Hey 👋
      I have 15mm spacers on the back with no probs before or after lowering
      It depends on the offset/width of wheels you’re running (mine are m6 wheels)….also settings on rear camber can help or rolling of arches

    I might make the move and purchase b12 sportline, but worried about ride harshness. Want to improve handeling but will they ruin my drivability?😮
    I have a 2006 BMW E60.

      Firm it up a bit but in no way ruins anything 💪

    Hi are they b8's or b12's I'm restoring a 645 and need to do the shocks as well as a host of other things including body work. also i don't think i got the cost of the kit

    • @bdautobody
      @bdautobody  Год назад

      They are the b8 shocks…..the shock & spring kit is just called ‘b12’ for labelling purposes (b12 kit is b8 shocks & eibach springs)
      Only fit b8 shocks with lowered springs…..standards springs require b6 shock I believe…..hope this helps…..hit us up on instagram if you need anythiing further‘Bdautobodyuk’ ✌️

    Hi my B8 blew out after 38 km. Is there anything special you did with the rear shocks in terms of spacers etc? They're trying to blame an installation error on this.

      No bud just them bolted straight on

      @@bdautobody did you reuse the washers from the original spring? The one that sits on top of the bumpstop?
      Bilstein technical says you have to use it but my mechanic said there's just nowhere to fit as the B8 comes with its own washer. They're likely trying to dodge warranty.
