I’d love a baja racing and bdr weapon build! Chat in 2 years when I can afford it haha
Does a bear shit in the woods?!? 😂
I dream of pnw unicorn build. Something that can still single track, but also has some have some hold up for desert.
Next build is a plated bike. ❤
How long out are you on doing builds?

I would be cool to see a little video on stalling the heat shielding on the header with links to recommend products. Same for the heat shield on the samco hose. Hacking it is often fun, but it would be nice to know how to do it right the first time. :)
I just attempted to install some pressed sheet aluminum on my 06 KTM 950 Adventure S, but it was relatively hard with the pipe still on. I see in this video the shield has some heat-resistant glass fiber attached to it. It looks like some stuff called 'Exhaust wrap heat shield automotive aluminum material muffler wrap insulation armor, 12" x 24"' on Amazon. I think that would work much better than just the aluminum panel that I have on my bike. Also you could just get some steel 'zip ties' or use safety wire like they used on their bikes.
These videos get me thinking about moving to an area that is friendly to dirt bikes
You will not regret it!
@ the closest state for me would be Michigan. They have trails everywhere
I did 🤙
@bushmancanuck Sweet!
Enjoying the 2024 Husky build Mike. Running a new Husky up here in Canada - won't be able to get down there so each video gives me an inspiration on how to best tric out my bike and then I order what tweaks my interest. Please keep the videos coming....
Right on 💪🏽
I really like that brake hose routing. The factory routing up the left side of the mask has rubbed and stained mine.
White,Blue,Black and DayGlo Yellow =
Stunning.
Absolutely awesome looking bike.
True professionals,
Great job!
Just another high quality build. Good job Mike! I hit my wheel weights with undercoat so they blend with the back wheels. 👍
That’s a smart idea, might have to steal that 😎
You made some really good points about USB ports being mounted vertical, but when you mount the Motominded dash, that's exactly what you're gong to end up with. I use one on my bike to keep my phone fully charged as it is also my navigation screen. I agree they all suck and have to be regularly replaced, regardless of how waterproof they claim to be.
More like this!
Taco 🌮 Mike making Taco 🌮 Tuesdays Great
Bike owner is stoked! Black tank looks great
Thanks for the ideas 💡💡💡👍🏻
You had me at having a race bike with a plate!! FYI, I’m slow and oldish but want to be that guy so that’s the bike I want 😎
We feel the exact same 😎
WO,,,, Great vid, I rarely watch entire vids, this I watched,,,,, great info as usual,,, 👍
The front cable route play has not gone away. I had a couple of bikes with drum brakes mounted on the right. I think earlier bikes had less suspension travel and could get away with less cable travel. The manufacturer increased suspension travel and saved on new parts. The forks had attachment points on both legs for bakcking plate stay.
I like the guards and USB info..
Nice build! Very similar to my KTM 350 XC-F Desert bike build.
I’m curious on your take of the 500 versus 350 class bikes? I see you build a lot of 500’s.
I love the Tu bliss system, but ohh boy is it a pain in the rear to install. Also you need to clean the inside of your wheel really good and use the "tape" they give you that goes over the spoke holes and I have popped the high pressure tube a few times, also you really want to use a stiff sidewall tire, and if you use plugs you need to be really careful not to pop the high pressure tube inside. They say "tubeless" but it does have a tube that you put 100 PSI into that essentially acts as a bead lock. But... When you have it setup right, and everything is working good, it works Really good. You can run 4psi which gives you amazing grip, but you have to be careful to not Rip on the rear tire when running low PSI, you have to be easy on the takeoff.
Nuetech recommends replacing the bladder every 100 hours or once a year.
For me, Tubliss is easy. I’m also use 100% tire sealant for the install. Don’t forget to crank your bladders 100# valve extra tight.
Losing high pressure air is the number one failure point.
add the wind shield upgrade on amazon - looks sickkkk
Link?
Wow, I'm in love! 😍
Where’d u get the heat protection? Coolant hose and exhaust wrap

With the standard green mako gummies, if you rock the bars forward and back its trippy at first how much you can move them. But damn a mako is sooooo gooood!
Agreed, we like the firm shark bike to tame that some. Vibrations just melt away
D606's, Tagged bike, FE501, Its gotta be Mike Glovers bike!
This one lives in the north west and belongs to a different rider. The Glover bike is another master work on its own.
Key relocation kit on Amazon. The older models had this and worked great!

Hey Bud you an update on the new unicorn fuel pump that your making? When are we able to buy them?
Is a video in the works on your thoughts on the ktm situation? I’ve got people telling me my ‘24 501 has a Chinese engine and that I won’t be able to get parts soon
Does the wrap arounds effect the xc 360 performance?
Motominded and TrueNorthMotos allow for more options and their switches are far stronger than the old plastic Sicass switch IMHO.
We’re familiar with the CEV switch (no off mode) and the Moto Minded switch - which is a great choice too.
This is not the sicass switch, ours comes with a lifetime warranty and is narrower and thinner than other options out there - and for all of those reasons is our go to choice on our ultimate builds 💪🏽💪🏽
@@TACOMOTOCO Well done. Thankyou for clarifying why you use that particular switch. I can appreciate your attention to the details. I started modifying the OEM Euro switch to have an "off" position for the headlight after having used the (larger) old CEV switch on all my ktm enduro builds since the late 2000s.
What tire do you suggest for beginner single track/ trail rider. Your comment about feedback got me thinking maybe a better tire is out there. I’m on ‘24 CRF250f with Scorpion tire. I purchased it used with what I suspect are stock tires.
Are there any key relocation devices available yet? Stock it’s in the worst spot
The Moto Minded dash relocates the key and gives you dual USB ports.
Have a list for everything that you added to the bike? I would like to add garmin and other items to my ‘19 FE 501
what Garmin is that thanks
Whats the point in tubliss if he's running a hard road tire? He's going to run high pressures for gravel roads and pavement so why air down for traction.
It seems like there is a market for a robust, sealed, non-USB plug with a cord that doesn't suck.
USB connections are good for data transfer, but power would be better served with a 3.5 mm jack in phones. Retro...
Quadlock has a wireless charge option.
@@BushmanCanuck I've used it. Quickly removed it. It doesn't provide enough current to run a phone for gps duties, especially if it is hot. If you aren't using your phone for gps, no point having it on the bars.
@@chrissteimle4610 Thanks for saving me from that planned purchase and subsequent fail 🙏
If you've ever ridden with a GPS that sticks up that high like that, you know you're going to slam it into your chest sooner or later if you do any actual off road riding.
