yes Sabito’s VA is Eren’s VA Yuki Kaji. I was convinced because of the hysterical laugh so I searched it up during the first time I watched this ep

Time has passed by Two Years: One year with Urokodaki, 6 months training alone with the boulder, and 6 months with Sabito and Makomo. It sums into Two Years of Hard Training to become a Demon Slayer. And yes, those are the post-credit scenes or trivia that we were talking about.

Demon Slayer is a glimpse of some Japanese culture.
Even the patterns on the kimonos have meanings.
I would be happy if you could experience a little bit of Japanese culture.

They resemble a lot of their card design, but I don't think it's one of the actual card.

According to you, they're already experiencing a little bit of Japanese culture through the show. Australians also live very close to Japan, so they can visit quite easily if they want to see some of the beauty and experience the culture of your country. Also, personally, I love the design of Tanjiro's kimono.

Let me explain a little about Kimono patterns. It is not a spoiler.
All members of the Kamado family wear what is called an "Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern," with Tanjiro wearing a Haori (jacket) and Nezuko an Obi (belt).
The Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern has the meaning of prosperity, because the pattern goes on and on without interruption. Because of its meaning of "prosperity," the Ichimatsu (checkered) pattern is loved as an auspicious pattern for prosperity of descendants and expansion of business.
The pattern of Nezuko's Kimono is "Asa-no-ha (hemp leaf) pattern. The Asa-no-ha (hemp leaf) pattern has the meaning of praying for good health and repelling evil.
Ange has been rocking that beanie for the past few episodes! I love it!

A little bit more trivia for anyone interested about the masks
The one that Urokodaki is wearing is of a Tengu, a god-like creature from folklore that protect the mountains.
And the mask of Sabito and Makomo are of a Kitsune, a shape-shifter fox that often represent messengers.

Hey Carlie and Ange, ... Demon Slayer is a simplistic anime, not a complicated story like attack on titan. And expect a lot of things to be symbolic. A really heart-touching anime too.

Keep in mind that the quality of the animation you're seeing now is just a tiny glimpse of the quality you'll see much later in the series. It reaches levels you will not believe. o_O

The person who did the music scores is named yuki kaijiura, she does scores for Fate, Kara no Kyoukai and other Ufotable anime too.
The music scores for Demon Slayer includes some songs by Yuki Kajiura but most of the score was done by Go Shiina, who also did the soundtracks for the God Eater games and Code Vein. I love Yuki Kajiura, but Go Shiina is my favorite composer and I can't stand that people always give all the credit for Demon Slayer's OST to her just because she's the bigger name.
I recommend at some point watching "To Your Eternity".
Its a very artistic and unique anime, which is very refreshing to see in such a saturated genre like anime and probably the saddest show I´ve ever watched, so if thats something you guys want to subject yourselves to, its incredible!
And if eldritch weird murder hole sounds cool there is "Made in Abyss"

I remember the first time I saw this episode I both saddened and was crying tears of joy. The writing of Tanjiro fighting but really cut the boulder was so beautiful, just so well done.

Just came back after a couple of months and binged the rest of Season 4 of y'alls AOT reaction and enjoyed it immensely.

normal demon slayers use a Nichirin-To(Sun blade), but some special character have separate weapons of their choice
Loved this episode, Sabito is super cool and Makomo is super sweet. Sabito's voice actor is incredible, really puts a lot of emotion in it. Im really glad you guys are watching this subbed (I knew you would, but the voice acting is unmatched). Can't wait for the next reactions!

Hey guys, great reaction, im realy exited to watch you guys get further into this series. Also Ange, the jacket Tanjiro wears is called a haori, it was traditionally worn over a kimono but these days people wear it like a summer jacket, im sure you could find one with the same pattern as Tanjiro wears if you look for a demon slayer haori!

From what I remember the post episode scenes are just there for comedy and somewhat trivial additional information that is not spoilery. They also may have next episode advances, but they are really short and spoiler-free. I think you can safely watch the whole episodes. That kind of stuff is made having in mind that is for people who didn't watch the show yet.

I heard something about you guys cancelling Death Note reactions since there were religious references and you didn't want to feel uncomfortable (which is perfectly fine btw). Is that true? If so, then maybe steer clear of Vinland Saga too - religion is discussed kinda often (not a main focus, but very present on the side).
I won't be the last to say you guys are seriously missing out though, Death Note is a wild ride, and I'd say it's definitely not religious as much as it is moral. Also, the fun bit about it is the interactions of the characters, and the choices they make. The moral nature of the show sort of takes a backseat.
Same goes for Vinland Saga. Religion is definitely discussed, but it's not really being defamed in any way, but some characters definitely do say things that would be seen as blasphemous, but there are also religious characters in there too, and the show isn't trying to push one set of beliefs or the other, since that was never really what it was about. The star of Vinland Saga is the deep characters and their dynamics and development.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood also has at least one episode that might be viewed as defaming religion by some, but that most certainly isn't even close to the focus of the show, which is the fascinating plot and likeable characters with deep pasts. Skipping out on it would be a real shame, since it's widely seen as a masterpiece.
All of that said, I'll still respect your choices in the end anyways. I just wanted to clear a little bit up, informing you guys about certain shows that'll be recommended, and clarifying the extent to which religion is discussed.
Of course, if the Death Note reactions weren't actually cancelled, you may as well ignore the entire comment.

the breathing thing, it sounds strange when said casually but there are different types of breathing techniques you can do, for instance lamaze that pregnant women use when giving birth or a more detailed one, diaphragm breathing that people with lung problems use. Both allow for a greater oxygenation of the blood, one to help calm and relax a person while the other is to get as much oxygen into the system as possible as the lungs aren't working well.

I've watch demon slayer a couple times now First when it was new and came out weekly, then I binge watched it after all episode came out, after that I was watch the Eng Dub with my older sister and lastly Spanish Dub with my Dad.

The spirits being I the boulder is kinda right. As the rope with lightning keeps spirits trapped, also as a warning that there is a spirit near. As this was used to capture a witches spirit I believe, way back when on Japan.

I'm really surprised that you say very difficult names frequently. They have very rare name. I'm Japanese but I spent time to remember all of the names.
Easier to remember for Chinese speakers actually. Very transparent and fitting meanings in the names.

Just so you understand the timeline, urokodaki trained tanjiro for a year.
He tried to cut boulder for 6 months alone. He tried to defeat sabito for 6 months.

n in japanese is often spoken pretty softly, that's why you might not hear it sometimes (it is still Eren)
Yeah you can watch the 'skits' at the end. They aren't crucial though, but they're pretty wholesome. Jujutsu Kaisen has something similar each episode too - one of many shows I'd also recommend, it's extremely popular. You could think of it as a middle ground between AoT and Demon Slayer. Some of the light-hearted wholesomeness of Demon Slayer mixed in with the serious tone of AoT (not quite as serious, but still). And the animation is great too.
Speaking of animation, Demon Slayer is probably the most well animated anime out there, so you're in for a beautiful ride, especially ep *REDACTED* (can't be spoiling now can we).
Finally, if you want some deeper shows with really well written stories, definitely check out Vinland Saga (1 season so far, 24 eps) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (completed, 64 eps). The latter is widely seen as one of the greatest anime of all time, if not the greatest. I'm currently watching it, and it's already brilliant (19 eps in and hooked).
Final note: you should definitely do some sort of polls at some point for shows. Maybe let Patreon members whittle down the options, and leave the final vote to a RUclips poll? (in other words, I'd love to have some say, however small, in what shows you watch next). You could just announce the polls and whatnot right before the episode, alongside the Patreon stuff.
